Chapter 011- A New Technique

After finishing his talks with her mom, Ling yun then went to meet with his fiancee, cang yue.

"Is my little yue'er doing alright?" Ling yun hugged her and asked about her condition.

"I am doing fine though if you visit me more often, I would be better." Cang yue said in her 9 year old cute loli voice.

Ling yun now is feeling bad about telling her about his departure after hearing her reply. But he could do nothing as the trip is important for him.

"I wish to visit you more often as well but my busy schedule doesn't let me do that. Are you angry with me, yue'er?" Ling yun asked in sad tone of voice.

"No...no, I am not. It's just that I want to stay with you more." Cang yue hurriedly replied.

"Sigh! Little yue, there is a news that I wanted to tell you toady." Taking a deep breath, Ling yun decided to drop the news though it might hurt her.

"What is it?" Cang yue asked in a confused manner.

"Actually, I will not be able to contact you for a few years since I am going on a trip to train." It took a lot of resolve from Ling yun to finally say it and it nearly broke his heart when he saw cang yue's disheartened face.

Cang yue didn't say anything in reply instead just hugged him more tightly than before. Ling yun hugged her back with same force as well.

*It really hurts when a person you care about become upset. But I must not let my emotion control me. There will be a lot of time in the future where we will be able to stay together. But now, I must complete the task at hand.* Ling yun thought as he left the blue wind palace after calming cang yue down.

Ling yun said goodbye to all the people that he is personally acquainted with. He didn't plan to take any of his subordinate except xia qingyue. The only reason he is taking her with him is because of her talent and he wants to guide her in cultivation personally.

After choosing one of the fastest aerial profound beast, they started their journey. Their destination is ten thousands beast mountain range.

Though there is a rumor that three sky profound realm beast lives there, they should be fine as long as they are being careful.

After reaching there, they started to search for a cave where they can temporarily live. It didn't take long to find one. After killing some low level profound beasts that were living there, they were all set.

"Qingyue, you stay here. I will go check the surroundings if there is any kind of danger." Ling yun said and started to walk out of the cave.

"Ok." Xia qingyue replied while setting up the camp and fire.

After making sure that he is far away from qingyue, Ling yun sat down cross legged and started to mutter some incomprehensible words. As Ling yun finished his mutterings and opened his eyes, he found a otherworldly being whose beauty is beyound anyone's imagination is standing in front him.

"Long time no see, @#%&," Ling yun said as he greeted the otherworldly being.

"It hasn't been that long for me. Anyway, why did you summon me?" The otherworldly being or more commonly known to masses as angel asked.

This angel named '@#%&' had been assingend to Ling yun after he became a heaven dweller. His main job is fulfill any kinds of request that Ling yun has. If it is beyond his capability, he will pass the wish to GOD who will then fulfill it.

[AN: If anyone wants to know the angel's name, you should learn the language of angels. 😜]

"Is there any way to change my profound veins to a better one without breaking any laws of this world or losing my cultivation?"

Because of his superior soul, Ling yun's cultivation speed is way higher than any normal person and it can even be compared to the people who has special body and profound veins.

But recently he found out a problem. Because his body and his profound veins are normal, he has no chance of winning against anyone who has higher level of cultivation than him.

Normally, it would not have been a problem. But the thing is that any person with special body and profound vein can defeat a person with higher level cultivation than theirs.

Meaning, if they fight with Ling yun using the same level of strength as him, he will have no chance of winning against them. Ling yun doesn't want to have that kind of weakness. That's why, he summoned '@#%&' to give him a solution.

"Wait a minute. Let me check this universe first." The angel then closed his eyes and opened them a few seconds later.

"There are few ways actually. I can give you some ancient technique which is from those self proclaimed god's era. Or, I can create a new one for you." The angel said.

"Create a new one, I guess." Ling yun said without a second thought as he knows that any kind of technique created by '@#%&' would be heaven defying and way better than those ancient techniques.

It didn't take long for '@#%&' to create the technique. After giving it to Ling yun, the angel vaniahed after saying, "This technique is specially prepared for you, so it wouldn't work for others. They wil die if they practice it."

"OK" Ling yun doesn't care as he wouldn't have given it to anyone else even if it could be used by others.

Anyway, Ling yun took a look at the technique and he was amazed at how powerful it is. As long as he can comprehend the technique, he will be able to strengthen his physique and profound veins by absorbing the blood of profound beasts.

Ling yun smiled seeing that. He instantly thought of the inheritance grounds left by divine beasts where he would be able to get their blood.

*With the combined bloods of those divine beasts, I will not only have a body more powerful than dragon god but also a most powerful divine vein to be ever existed.* Ling yun thought as he started to laugh foolishly.

[AN: I know many of you are not going to like the chapter because of the amount of bs I have put. But I couldn't think of any other better idea of how he can get a powerful profound vein and body.]

A year later-

Ling yun knew that the technique was hard to comprehend but he never knew that it would take him a whole year.

"Qingyue, pack up quickly. We are going to a special place today." Now that he finally managed to comprehend it, he plans to visit the inheritance ground left by phoenix today.

In this one year, Ling yun's cultivation didn't rise much as he wasn't that focused on it. He only managed to increase his strength by three small realms. So, he is now at 4th level of earth profound realm.

As for Xia qingyue, she managed to increase her cultivation by leaps and bounds using the various resources from heavenly sword villa. She is now at 8th level of true profound realm which is a miracle compared to her canon self.

"Brother yun, let's go. I'm ready." Xia qingyue said with a smile on her face. After spending a year together, xia qingyue stopped showing him her cold side anymore. Instead, she would now always have a smile on her face when talking to him.

There are even times when she would tease him back. Though there is not much improvement in their romantic relationship, they have firmly managed to build a strong bond of friendship.
