Chapter 004- Scarlet dragon mountain range

Ling yun stayed there one more day in order to let everyone say good bye to their family since they are not going to see them for a long time.

During his stay, he didn't neglect to have a good talk with xiao che, xiao linxi and xia yuanba. They don't seem to have any problems with the arrangement their family made for them.

Xiao che is crippled from birth. That's why he always have to endure many taunt and bullying from childhood. So, he slowly began to distance himself from others and started to develop inferiority complex.

He even thought of doing suicide before just to get away from all these pain. But he didn't want to leave his grandpa and aunt alone. And so he endured, hoping that one day his profound veins will be restored and he will be able to cultivate again.

It seems now his patience is finally paying off since he heard from his grandfather that a benefactor named Ling yun promised to heal his profound veins in a few years of time. Xiao che couldn't stop smiling even for a second after hearing this miraculous news.

Though he will have to serve Ling yun in exchange for getting healed, it doesn't matter to him. Instead he is happy to do so, after all, Ling yun did give him a second life.

Today he finally met his benefactor, Ling yun. After talking to him, his respect for Ling yun got all time high. Xiao che swore in his mind to obey Ling yun's all orders as long as it doesn't bring harm to his family.

Yesterday, she heard from her father that she will be going to Heavenly sword villa as young master Ling yun's subordinate. Though she is worried a bit since she is going to a new place but her excitement is more prominent.

She didn't develop a crush on xiao che yet. And after taking constant bullying for her looks, she always dreamt of some prince charming taking her away. Now that it is happening in real life, she couldn't be more exited.

Today she got to meet her prince charming, Ling yun. And she wasn't disappointed. With Ling yun's sweet talks and some gifts, she instantly developed a crush for him.

*Even though I will not be able to become young master's official wife, I must work hard to be a part of his harem,* Xiao linxi swore to herself while daydreaming about her future life with Ling yun.

Xia yuanba has always been bullied for his big build and slower cultivation speed than others. But toady Ling yun came to him to give him some motivation and assured him that he will become strong as long as he follows him.

Xia yuanba first time hearing from someone that he will become super strong in the future, became very happy and started to look forward to his future unlike his past self.

Yes, his parents might have told him that as well but it is different to hear that from someone you don't have any relationship with. During the talk, Ling yun firmly managed to imprint him as a saviour in xia yuanba's mind.

Ling yun gathered xiao che, xiao linxi, xia qingyue and xia yuanba. They already said goodbye to their families and now it is time to go.

Since Ling yun came by flying with Ling wan's help, they didn't bring any aerial profound beast. Now, Ling yun had to buy some profound beasts in floating cloud city to pull their carriage.

So, it is going to take longer time than before to go back. Though Ling yun has no problem with it, since he plans to make a few stops before going to heavenly sword villa.

Ling yun's first stop was scarlet dragon mountain range. He plans to take the fire seed of heretic god from there before anyone finds it or it's location gets changed by someone or something.

When they reached scarlet dragon mountain range, Ling yun looked at everyone and said, "All of you, stay here for a while. I need something from the center of this mountain range. Elder wan, you will come with me."

""Yes, young master.""

While Ling wan was flying towards the center of the mountain range with Ling yun, he asked, "Young master, can you tell me what you need from this mountain range? From what I know, there is nothing precious here."

"You are misinformed then. From the intelligence I got, there is an emperor profound dragon beast here. It will be beneficial for our sword villa if we can kill it and take it with us," Ling yun replied without mentioning anything about the evil god seed.

Ling wan's eyes started to glow with excitement. After getting the 'Heavenly Foundation Art' from Ling yun, he has been trying to reach Emperor profound realm. He just needs a slight push.

*I will surely be able to advance to the next realm if I fight a Emperor profound realm beast. Though I will have to be careful not to get killed before I advance,* Ling wan took a deep breath and readied himself for the incoming battle.

When they reached there, Ling wan released a bit of his profound energy to lure the dragon out of its cave. Sooner, he heard a powerful dragon roar coming from the cave. It said, "Human, if you don't want to die, you should leave before this king becomes angry."

"Well, that's not possible since I came here to kill you," Ling wan replied back with a confident voice.

"Hahaha.....Human and their superiority complex. Always thinking that they are in the top of the food chain and can hunt others as they like. Since you didn't hear this king's advice, then let this king show you what despair truly is!"

A gigantic dragon over hundred feet long came out of the cave. It is releasing the aura of a ninth level of sky profound realm and that confused Ling wan a bit.

*Shouldn't this beast be in Emperor profound realm? Why is it in Sky profound realm?*Ling wan thought.

"Don't be fooled by that dragon. It is concealing it's strength," Ling wan's confusion cleared up when he heard this from Ling yun.

"You master, you should step back a little since I am not sure if I will be able save you if that dragon attacks you."

"Okay." Ling yun stepped back without arguing since he knows his strength. He might die even if he gets caught up in the cross fire.

Seeing that the dragon is charging toward him, Ling wan took out his sword from his spatial ring and started to fight with the dragon.

Within ten minutes of fighting, Ling wan felt that his bottleneck is loosing bit by bit. So, he didn't use any sword art and instead started to fight with the dragon with pure strength.

The more the fight was progressing, the more seriously injured the dragon is starting to get. But it confused the dragon. It is after all an emperor profound realm beast. A half step emperor profound realm practitioner should only be able to do superficial damage.

But here it was getting some serious damage from the human. It realized that there is something wrong and started to get angry because of this. So, it decided to fight with it's true strength.

Without any warning, the dragon's power level went up to emperor profound realm and launched a devastating attack with it's claw which managed to deal some serious blow.

But instead of any negative emotion, Ling wan's face was full of joy because in that last attack, he finally managed to break his bottleneck and reach Emperor profound realm.

"It's time to finish this." Since he already got what he wanted, he started to get serious and launched a sword art.

**Heaven's Might Sword Formation - Heavenly Star Frenzy**

Ling wan created hundred of sword auras simultaneously and launched them towards the dragon. It barely managed defend itself from the sword auras.

Before the dragon could even take a breath, Ling wan launched another sword art.

**Heaven's Might Absolute Sword - Moon Break**

A fast sword strike hit the belly of the dragon and blood started to gush out from it. Ling wan knows that he can't let the dragon make a comeback, otherwise the battle will get dragged on and the result might change.

Though it is taking toll on his body for launching sword art one after other, he didn't stop.

**Sword Spirit Doppelganger**

Ling wan created a doppelganger who has the same strength as him and both launched the most powerful sword arts he knows of.

**Heaven's Might Absolute Sword, Final Form - Radiant Sky**

Sword beam started to fill the sky and created two gigantic sword. One is thirty meters long and the other is sixty meters long. Both sword came crushing down toward the neck of the dragon.

And the dragon could do nothing but watch helplessly as it's head got cut down from the body. The dragon regretted that it didn't use full power from the begaining. Otherwise the result would have been much much different.

*At the end of the day, it was my arrogance that killed me,* It was the dragon's last thought before death took over it.
