20 chapter 17: new friends,magic,booze,and a hunting lioness(prelude before the 18+ chapter)

-hage forest, cabin area-

-Asta and yuno pov-

"SISTER WILL YOU PLEASE MARRY Me?!" Could be heard all throughout hage village who are used to hearing the same routine,some of the villagers use the shouting as an alarm to wale them up.

This shout was followed by the rumble of a watery fist.

"Asta…why do you keep trying when she has rejected you 3650 times for ten years?" A tall black haired teen said to a tiny goblin child who screamed about never giving up.

Sighing yuno was about to go inside when he suddenly felt a gigantic spike in mana. Instinctively he turned his head to the sky to see a giant fiery object fall into the forest of hage village.

"What was that?!" Father orsi screamed after feeling the rumble under his feet.

Yuno explained what he saw to the others,at which he grabbed his recently acquired grimoire," I'm going to check it out,asta stay with the others.", the teen ordered.

"NO WAY!! We're coming too ,and if it's something dangerous I'll chop it down with my swords!!" Asta said while the rest at the church nodded in agreement.

And soon they set off to investigate.

-inside hage forest-

They entire church were walking,with the exception of yuno who flew above them.

"Yuno do you see anything?" Asta asks while holding his sword,to which yuno shook his head.

*BOOM*,the sound of an explosion was heard by everyone and yuno saw it in the distance.

"I fount the area in the explosion follow me!!"to which everyone followed yuno.

Soon they came to a clearing and what they saw shocked them,two individuals fighting with an absolute intent to beat one another in their eyes," good job keeping up Arata! But this fight ends now!"," and who decided that Merleona?!" The boy named Arata said at which a fiery fist collided with the side of his head with a resounding *bang*

The youth flew and hit the ground,stopping at the feet of the party observing them.

Arata:??? Hello,and who might you all be?

The crowd after hearin the question got out of their dazed stupor," *ahem* we are from the orphanage in hage village,im father orsi,we heard explosions and came to investigate."

Arata upon hearing the answer hesitated before smiling at the new people,' so now I meet the two main character of black clover'

Standing up Arata extended a hand,the kids all looked at the gloves,enamored by how cool they looked(boys),while the others were blushing at the sight of the black haired boy(girls,mostly sister Mary)

Father orsi shook hands before seeing the royal who was watching,then he pales,"lady vermillion?! Oh sorry about not addressing you first !", father said to a chuckling Merleona,at which the royal said with a hint of amusement,"it's fine father I don't care for formality ,I was sparring with my student here.", pointing at Arata.

Arata feeling their anxiety coughed before speaking,"well Merleona,considering it's dinner time and we now have guests,how about we invite them for a meal?",at the hearing of the proposal all the children at the church looked at father orsi and sister Mary ,their faces (all except for yuno) screaming,'please accept!!', with a sparkle to their eyes.

"Then…I guess we'll take you up on your offer." The father said with a gentle smile.

"Great, please come into the cabin." At which Arata pointed towards the giant mansion of a cabin.

Shocked but still happy for the invitation they all walking into the cabin,and with the food on the table they ate.

-2 hours later-

"Thanks for the food!" All the guests said while leaving to go back home.

Soon it was only Merleona and Arata again," okay kid we'll take a break for the rest of the day,please come to my room tonight…(blushing from the wine in her system) I got one other surprise for you." At which Arata confused decided to watch the sunset.

And just like that night time was here,Arata still in his clothes stood outside his teachers room,'okay Arata you can do this,breathe', Arata took a deep breath.

Before he even knocked merleona's voice spoke through the door," I know you're outside just come in."

"…what does that woman have,predator vision?" Arata who chuckled at his joke soone turned the knob.

But little did he know what he joked about was actually quite accurate.
