Chapter 184 - Death

Ruby, Weiss, Yang, Summer, and Taiyang headed for the east part of the city while Team CFVY and Team JNPR headed toward the West part of the city.

Ruby and Summer had already gone ahead of everyone else by turning into a burst of petals flying ahead of them. After a couple of seconds, Ruby and Summer were out of sight for the rest of them.

"Not again!" Taiyang said and started to run faster so that he could catch up.

Weiss used her glyphs before speeding up while Yang started using ki to strengthen her legs and dashing ahead, leaving an afterimage.

The other two teams looked at them taking off while Taiyang was still slower than the rest of them.

"There was no way we were going to win the tournament if it was a team battle the entire time," Yatsuhashi said looking at them dash away.

"Let's get going," Coco said.

Team JNPR and Team CFVY then headed in their own direction.

Ruby, Yang, and Summer got to the city quickly looking at the building burning and an army of people going down the street causing chaos.

Summer took off in one direction to deal with the people causing problems. She pulled her arm back and sent it into the stomach of an elderly man. The hit wasn't heavy-handed but was just enough to send pain through his body.

The elderly man's eyes blinked and stopped having a hazy appearance in them.

"Uhh!!!" The elderly man said while looking around trying to find out what is going on.

Summer and the others went around hitting people to send a shock to them so that they could be taken out of mind control. They didn't know if it was complete mind control but they did know that force would stop them.

[In the medical office]

Dr. Oobleck was in the office looking after Ozpin with his assistant Dr. Kitsune when someone was knocking on the door.

Dr. Oobleck opened the door and saw one of the students that were from Haven Academy. The student was wounded heavily and breathing roughly. It was Sun Wukong and he looked as if he was out of breath.

"I've come to warn you that some crazy lady is in the school and she plans on attacking Ironwood," Sun said while leaning against the doorway.

"We already know that kid." The voice of Qrow came from behind the door. He had his weapon with him in case the person that had attacked them came to finish the job.

"You did?" Sun said.

"We were already attacked by them. We didn't know that the person was a she though." Qrow said.

"I saw here turn into the teacher with blonde hair that welcomed us here. I saw her change right in front of me.

"So we know how she was able to take the appearance of Glynda," Qrow said while rubbing his chin.

"We should also get you checked up." Dr. Oobleck said.

Oobleck took five minutes to patch up Sun while Dr. Kitsune used her semblance to help him heal. All it did was speed up the recovery of the person based on the amount of nature around. Since she lept plants in the office it would be faster than normal.

Dr. Oobleck had Sun rest in there so that he could recover seeing the wounds. There were stab wounds, swords slashes, and whip marks all over his body.

"How did you get all the wounds," Qrow asked. He was sure that some of the wounds looked similar to ones that the imposter would have.

"That crazy woman used different weapons on me to get information about the school and where the school office was," Sun said while laying down on the bed.

Qrow thought about it and it would make sense how the person managed to get information on the school and where Ozpin would be at.

Sun rested in the nursery office with Ozpin to recover.

They spent 2 hours waking people by force but it seemed as if it was never going to end. Taiyang and Summer were sweating while thinking that this was more tiring than they had expected.

Ruby, Yang, and Weiss were doing better as they have had training sessions that have lasted longer.

While they were dealing with them they had seen someone coming toward them. It was Sun that Neptune came by and asked if they had seen him. He was also being controlled like the others.

Sun was already looking battered. It showed that he was in a fight before he was taken control of.

"So that's what happened to Sun," Weiss said remembering that Neptune couldn't find Sun.

Sun was swinging his weapon around with a glazed look in his eyes breaking things and attacking people that weren't destroying things.

Weiss placed a glyph on the ground before stepping on it and launched herself toward Sun. She sent out a fist into his stomach making him hunch over. His eyes stopped being glossy while grabbing his stomach.

Sun hit the ground from the hit. The only thing that was keeping him going was mind control. He hadn't had anything to eat for the past two days and was only given water.

The others came over to check to see what Weiss was doing. Usually, she would knock some sense into the person and then take them somewhere safe before coming back.

Ruby went over and saw that it was Sun and he didn't look the best right now.

"What happened to him?" Ruby asked seeing that Sun looked horrible.

"We should get Sun to the school infirmary," Weiss said while looking at Ruby.

Ruby didn't know if she could carry people like her mom but would go ahead and try.

Ruby walked up to Sun and saw that he was struggling just to keep his eyes open. Ruby picked Sun and took him with her toward the school.

Weiss stayed behind with Summer, Yang, and Taiyang to continue dealing with the wave of people. The waves were getting smaller and weren't increasing anymore. They figured that however was behind this had limits to what they could do.

It was a bit difficult for Ruby at first since she couldn't take off without thinking about the person she was carrying.

It took Ruby 10 minutes to get back to the school. She used ki to keep flying while also using her semblance. She had stopped outside the building and opened the door with her foot.

When she was about to open the door a Scythe swinging through the door. The door was cut in half and a fireball came flying through the door.

"Hahaha!!! You thought it was dear student Sun but it was me, Judd!" The imposter said while laughing and dashing towards the out of the doorway.

Qrow saw that it was Ruby at the door and yelled toward her.

"Stop her!!! She killed Ozpin!!!" Qrow yelled out.

Ruby looked into the room and saw Ozpin laying on the bed with a blade in his chest.
