There was a large establishment before me and the smell of food drifted from within.

Alright then, I should make a good first impression. First impressions are always important.

I placed my hand on the door handle and entered.

SLAM!

Two large bulky men with oversize muscles were fighting on top of a table. One was equipped with a mace and the other was equipped with a club.

"YOU WANNA GO HUH?!" The one with the mace yelled.

"YEAH, LET'S SEE WHO'S STRONGER!" The one with the club yelled back.

The duo started to glow and I could tell that the table they were standing on was about to break.

Suddenly, the two were wrapped in a pink aura and they flew towards me. I bent backward, ducking. The two flew past me and slid across the ground.

"No fighting in here. Take it outside before you destroyed the building again." A woman shouted from the second floor. Whoa, now that I look at it, this thing had three floors.

"You down there." The woman said and I looked around, "Yes you. I'm sorry about that." The woman apologized.

"It's alright."

Good thing I was in human form or else I would've been too slow to evade two bulky dudes.

I looked around, people were chatting, eating, and drinking with each other. Some were playing cards and some were showing off their weapons and their armor.

This is exactly how I imagined the adventurer's guild to be. Just people hanging out.

There was a large board to the right of the room and to the opposite was where the counter was. Guess that's where I need to go to register. It also seems that I was not the only one coming here to register. There were a lot of people at the gate yesterday and I'm guessing they came here to get a job. According to the old man and my knowledge from anime in my previous world, adventuring is a common job, but it is also dangerous as well. Unlike adventuring in anime, you must be a strong fighter to go adventuring in this world.

Anyway, I was waiting in line and I could feel many gazes focused on me. Crap, if only I can disable [Devil's Charisma]. But I can't disable passive skills. Maybe I have to be a higher level to disable it.

Eventually, it was my turn. The staff who was receiving me was a girl with rabbit ears. She had long wavy hair and large breasts, which made her look mature. If I were to guess her age, she'd probably be around 30.

"Ahem," the lady cleared her throat lightly. Oh, I was probably staring at her breast for too long.

"How may I help you?" The lady asked.

"Ehh, I want to become an adventurer," I answered.

"I see, there will be a registration fee though, is that alright?"

"A fee? Of how much?"

"50 tennos."

50 tennos? That's basically all I have. Oh, I didn't mention this. The currency in this world is called Tenno. Tennos for plural term. Weird thing is, tenno means emperor of japan. Anyway, 1 tenno in this world equals about 100 yen so 50 tennos would be 5,000 yen.

I handed the tennos to the lady and she handed me a form.

"Please fill this out before you register."

I walked over to an empty table and started filling my information out. I filled in my name, age, day of birth, and I also had to fill out my height and weight.

I should be accurate with this. I already know my height is 175 cm in human form and 195 in my true form, but I don't know my weight.

Maybe the system can help. If it could analyze me then that would be helpful. I just need to find out my weight in this form.

I walked back to the counter and handed in my form. The lady also required me to hand in my identification to make sure I wasn't putting down fake info.

"15 years old? Pretty young. He-he," the lady smiled.

"Did you say something?"

"Nothing. I thought you were around 20 or older," her smile vanished and she had a stern expression on again.

Hmm, weird… Whatever, probably wasn't important anyway.

After that, I was given a black card. It was about the size of a credit card and it had a brown gem on it.

"What is this?"

"It's your rank. New members start at bronze rank. Every quest you complete will add experience and eventually you will be able to rank up. You know you are ready to rank up when your gem glows."

"I see, so how many ranks are there?"

"There are a total of 10 ranks. Bronze, Iron, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Titanium, Adamantite, Orichalcum, and Mythril."

"Ahh, I see."

So Mythril is the highest rank an adventurer can get. I'll have to aim for that. The higher my rank is, the harder quests I can do.

"Now, since this is your first time adventuring, you will join a group that will be led by silver and gold ranks."

"Hmm? I'm going to be working with others?"

"Of course, this is to prevent anyone from getting injured for some unknown reasons. It's best to work with people who have experience. Please wait while I gather a group. You are not the only new one around here you know, though you stand out a bit."

"Stand out a bit?"

She pointed to her side and I turned. I was receiving stares from some other female staffs and I understood now. It seems I forgot about my [Devil's Charisma]

"By the way, is that your pet near the door?"

"Hmm?"

I turned and Shikkoku was napping right at the entrance. There were some who seemed to be intimidated by her. Well, it would be a bit frightening to see a large panther.

"Uhh, yeah. But she's practically harmless."

The lady nodded, "Well then, please wait at an empty table. I will call you when the group is formed."

I walked back to the empty table and sat down. Shikkoku woke up and came to me. Then she slept again. Humph, she's almost no different from a cat. Sleeps almost every minute.

Now the gazes focused on me were multiplying. The more people that entered the guild, the more pressure I felt. I put my hood on to avoid the gazes and sure enough, the pressure faded away. That's when I discovered I can conceal [Devil's Charisma] with my hood. That will be useful.

Damn, it's been a while. Has the groups been formed yet?

"Attention, please. Those of you that have just joined, please follow me."

Another lady shouted. There's the signal. I got up and followed the lady, joining the group following her. There were around 20 of us. Do we really need this much people to do one quest?

We exited the guild hall and we were heading towards the north gate. At the gate, there were 5 figures idling around. Perhaps they were waiting for someone?

We stopped in front of the 5 figures and the lady spoke, "Standing before you are 3 silver and 2 gold rank adventurers. Please introduce yourselves," she said to the group.

"My name is Alex Cruciful. I am a silver rank and I will be accompanying you on your first quest. Please to meet you all." A muscular guy with black hair and blue eyes said. He was wearing light silver armor with a long sword attached to his waist. I'll guess this guy is some kind of knight.

"I am Iris Lynx. I am a gold rank and I will also be accompanying you on your first quest. Please to meet you all." A woman with a mature body said. Wait, are those elf ears? Long pointy ears, yep she's an elf. She had long flowing blonde hair and green eyes like most elves. She was wearing a long robe and she had a wand on her waist. She's probably some kind of mage.

"My name is Lanzo Reigai, a gold rank. I will be leading this quest so I will be responsible for your well being." A tall man wearing a white samurai attire said. I couldn't see his face as he had a helmet on, but I was able to notice his eyes. They were icy-blue and his pupil was a slit-shape. He had two blades strapped on his waist. Well, I don't even need to explain what this guy is.

"My name is Tia Astrid, silver rank. Please to meet you all." A woman in a black corset with armored plates on her shoulders said. The armor she was wearing was brass-like gold, different from Alex's silver armor. She also had two daggers on her back. If I were to guess, she'd be a rogue.

"My name is Minori Sakura. I am a silver rank. Please to meet you all." The girl with cat ears said.

She was wearing a gray robe over an electric blue garb both laced with silver linings. She also wore a black skirt, which went down to her knees. Her hair was light pink, her cat ears were also pink, and her eyes were gold. She had a slim and petite body, she... she was beautiful.

"Well then, I wish you all good luck." The lady from the guild said, and she left.

"Now then, let's go," Lanzo said and we followed him.
