Ancient Water Dragon Lizard

As Scaly's body began changing and she was knocked unconscious, a faint glow began enveloping her entire body. Following which several wave-like patterns began appearing on her scales over the next few days, while her body also began growing until her size had almost doubled compared to before.

Roar~

Letting out a cute sounding roar as light covering her body began dissipating, Scaly opened both of her eyes before turning to look straight at the cave salamander she had killed before going through her evolution filled with hunger Even if it had been laying there for a few days, it didn't seem to show any signs of decay, a possible special ability of the cave salamander that allowed its body to stay fresh days after it had been killed.

Chomp~!

With this in mind, Scaly happily rushed over and chomped down on the fresh-looking cave salamander without checking how much her strength had improved after she evolved into an Ancient Water Dragon Lizard.

Important as it might be for her to see how much stronger she had become; it was more important to satisfy her hunger. 

Not eating for what had ended up being several days had already left her on the brink of starvation and she feared that she might end up passing away due to hunger while reading through her status.

Chomp~ Chomp~ Chomp~

Because of this, the sound of Scaly eating what was left of the cave salamander soon echoed throughout the small crevice she was hiding inside of.

Chomp!

Only after finishing up the cave salamander did, she roll over with a satisfied expression on her face before turning her attention towards her status, curious and excited about how much stronger she had grown after her evolution. After all, even if she hadn't fought with any monsters yet, she could still clearly feel that she had grown stronger and larger compared to before.

Not to mention, given how strong the cave alligator and the cave troll were, she was filled with expectations. Hoping that she had become as strong as the cave troll after it evolved into a berserk cave troll.

Looking through her status, Scaly could not help feeling overjoyed after seeing just how much stronger she had become. The most impressive improvement being her vitality and magic that had improved by 25 each!

Although er strength and dexterity were lacking a bit behind when compared to her vitality and magic, it wasn't by much and Scaly was still happy with how much she had managed to improve in these places.

Outside of just the increase in her strength, her skills had also become stronger, the most notable being her dragon bloodline skill that had level up to three after she finished her evolution. Showing that she was on the right path towards becoming a dragon.

[Dragon Bloodline lvl 3]: Ten drops of dragon blood flows through your body, +3 VIT per level, + 2 M per level. The evolution towards becoming a full-fledged dragon has begun, your body has started the process of changing into that of a dragon. Level up will increase the amount of dragon blood present in the body. 

Reading through the new description of the dragon bloodline, Scaly could not help feeling even more excited, as it directly stated she had already begun the process of becoming a dragon. Not only that, but it now also helped the growth of her magic instead of only increasing her vitality.

Given that dragons were magical creatures wielding powerful magic cable of destroying entire countries, Scaly felt that it was only obvious that her dragon bloodline should also increase her magic now that she was closer to becoming a dragon.

Of course, outside of just her dragon bloodline skill improving, her water magic and claw strike also levelled up after her evolution.

However, among the two, the claw strike skill didn't change much and had most likely just become stronger due to the strength of her dragon bloodline increasing. Not to mention, she still wasn't fully used to the claw strike skill, and it was nowhere near as important as her water magic. The thing she relied on most of the time when it came to fighting was her water magic.

With that in mind, Scaly quickly began checking her water magic skill to see if anything changed.

[Water Magic lvl 7]: Allows the use of water magic, can also be used to enhance the power of some other skills.

Simple like always, the description of water magic was easy to understand… And for this reason, Scaly was quick to notice the change that had more than doubled the description of water magic.

Enhance the power of some other skills? What skills can be enhanced?

Feeling curious about the ability included under water magic, Scaly could not help wanting to try out another skill and see if she could really enhance its power with the help of her water magic-

And given that she only had a single other attack skill, she decided to use the claw strike. Soon causing a blue glow to mix with her claw strike, coating her claw in a deep blue glow-

Bang!

Crack~

Hitting the stone, she had used to seal herself from the rest of the cave while going through her evolution, Scaly was shocked to discover that the stone was directly destroyed by her attack, causing a large part of it to fall towards the cave floor on the other side.

Huh?

However, just as Scaly was about to happily enjoy the powerful feeling of being able to destroy the stone with ease, an almost unbearable sense of exhaustion washed over her.

Without a question, almost all of her mana had been exhausted by the enhanced claw strike…
