"Are you sure you want to do it though?" Sakura asked Astra.

"If I can help you then would very much like to master," Astra replied while turning a page.

Sakura looked at Astra sitting on the desk with a concerned face.

"Even if you say that. You are always holing up yourself. Can't you like get some hobby?" from the moment Sakura met Astra for the first time till now. Sakura hasn't seen Astra going outside. Which concerned Sakura. Not to mention Astra didn't have any hobbies or entertainment for herself.

"I am fine, master. As a servant, I must serve you twenty-four-seven. And I am not a mortal, so I don't need a source of entertainment."

Sakura couldn't understand what Astra meant but one thing was clear. Astra won't get some hobby anytime soon. "Well, you do you, I guess. But please don't push it, okay?"

"I will master."

Sakura lay on the bed and opened a book on space magic. She wanted to learn teleportation so that she could teleport around without having to travel hundreds of kilometers.

'Hm, let's see... Space magic is the power to manipulate space and gravity. Among all the magic elements, space magic is the most complex one. It requires a person to have high comprehension ability.'

'Come to think of it, I do have high comprehension abilities. I may be bad at math. And maybe physics. Come to think of it I also struggle with chemistry and biology and sports. But I am good with language. I never ever failed in language. So, I am pretty smart. I think.'

"Master is pretty smart," Astra interjected.

"Hehe, you don't have to praise me like that." It feels good when someone praises your academic achievements.

"Damn you how incompetent can you be to not be able to find a little girl!!!" Fredric screamed at the Knight captain.

"My lord, we have searched every nook and cranny but we couldn't even find any eyewitness who had seen a blue-haired girl."

"Are you kidding me! How could a little girl just vanish into thin air? It must be because your troupes are incompetent."

The knight captain had also thought that his troupes were incompetent, before. But after doing the investigation himself he also realized that there were indeed no traces of the said girl.

"My lord, it's really that there are no traces of her." The knight's captain tried to argue.

"Shut up you bastard! [[How dare you eat my food and bark at me at the same time]]!!!" Fredric cursed. The knight captain couldn't help but look at the ground in defeat. No matter what excuse he comes up with. It was true that he was unable to find Sakura.

It was extremely shameful since the knights were in charge of controlling what went in and out of the city. This incident points out that there was a breach in this system.

It was indeed shameful for the knights. Especially the knight commander who is in charge of the whole army.

So, with shame, the knight commander could only listen to the harsh words Fredric was saying.

After a while,

"Sigh!" The knight commander sighed. As he entered his room. Pressure on him was growing. Fredric was losing trust in him. And worst of all the head butler was dead. So, there was no one to advise Fredric. Because of this things were getting messy. Both outside the territory and inside the territory. Neighboring noble territories were getting bold as they noticed Fredric's mismanagement. Crime rates were going high in the town and corruption among the rich people was also getting out of control.

"It's like everything that could go wrong is going wrong." The knight captain muttered. Things were looking bad, to say the least. Worst of all At this moment, Fredric doesn't have any successor as his only son is dead. It would be a problem if something happened to him now.

As the knight captain came and sat down on his bed a certain card by the table piqued his interest. It was the card that Jester had left.

"No, no, what am I thinking." He shook his head.

"Oh, oh. look, Astra! I've finally done it!" Sakura became excited after seeing the disturbance in the air. What she was practicing right now was a spell called "Omni View" The most basic spell of space magic. This magic used space as a medium to create a 3d map in the head. However, since Sakura was putting in so much mana the space magic was distorting gravity making weird air currents.

Regardless this was her first try. and it didn't blow up anything. So, that's a win-win.

"Congratulations, master."

"Hehe, it's not that impressive."

"No, master. You're indeed amazing. Before you used spells with 20% efficiency. But now your efficiency is nearly 40%"

"Maybe I am a genius." Sakura thought internally.

"Why don't you try modifying this spell master spell?" Astra proposed.

"Modify?"

"You can change the subtle things when casting a spell to get new results."

Sakura's eyes sparkled upon hearing this. 'Then what am I waiting for, let's start.'

Sakura was about to try it when Astra interjected.

"Not here master. Modified spells can be unstable. You would want an open place to practice it."

Sakura stopped in her tracks. What Astra said does make somewhat sense. She remembered her first time casting spells and shuddered.

Omni view wasn't an offensive spell so, she could cast it in her inn room without a problem. However, if this thing was modified there was a certain uncertainty while casting it. Sakura didn't want to take the risk. Thankfully Astra pointed it out.

"Then let's go outside and test out the capabilities of space magic."
