A hug

After the girl left the room Rose appeared and saw the water changing color then she gasped and collected the glass.

'What did she put in here?" Rose asked as she looked at Julia who was fast asleep.

"I see you are not so safe here, what is that girl anyway?" she asked as she went into the balcony and poured the water out of the glass then threw the glass away and sat by the side of the bed.

'I am going to stay here tonight" Rose said to herself for she knew that Daisy was also not who she says she is.

The next morning after the sun rose and the birds were chirping the girl woke up with her face glowing only to see Rose sitting on the chair.

"Good morning Julia," Rose said.

"Good morning Rose, why are you here?" she asked as she sat up and stretched off.

"I had to stay to keep an eye on you" she responded.

'I am confused" she said.

"The princess placed something in your water last night, it was colorful" Rose replied.

'That girl... she is something.... anyways I don't care" she said.

"You have to be careful for the time being, it's clear that she wants to hurt you, seems like she sees you as a treat" Rose replied.

"Tsk... I hate people like her, where is the glass of water?" Julia asked.

"I threw it away" she responded.

"Good because I am sure if I told the prince he wouldn't believe instead he would think I am lying, after all, why would a girl like her want to hurt a maid' she said with a frown.

"I don't think he is like that" Rose said and Julia looked at her.

"Maybe or maybe not but I am not going to risk it" she replied.

"Good now you going to get out of bed or are you going back to sleep?" Rose asked and the girl smiled.

"I am going to get up now" she responded as she got up from the bed but then she felt a little dizzy and sat back down.

"You okay?" Rose asked as the girl's eyes started glowing in the color of the rainbow.

"You will be fine, ty standing up," Rose said and so she did.

"I feel different," she said as her back started hurting and she grabbed onto Rose in intense pain.

"I think you should stay in bed," Rose said.

"I can't, I am a maid, I have to get going, don't worry about me I will be just fine Rose" she replied then found the strength and walked away.

"Stubborn" Rose said as the girl went to take a bath.

While taking her bath the girl's back kept hurting and her entire body started to itch.

"Damn it now what?" she asked as she rubbed her skin while her eyes glowed.

A little while after her body stopped itching and she came out of the bath wrapped in her towel.

"You okay Julia?" Rose asked.

"My body was itching but I am fine now" she responded.

"Okay if you need anything then just call out my name and I will be there," Rose said then disappeared and Julia smiled.

'She is weird" Julia said to herself then got dressed and was ready for work.

After Julia finished getting dressed she went straight to the kitchen to help the other maids prepare breakfast and that's when Daisy came into the kitchen.

"Good morning maids," Daisy said and Julia looked at her sternly.

"Good morning your highness" they all replied and bowed including Julia.

"Julia, are you feeling okay today?" Daisy asked and the girl smiled.

"I am feeling excellent, thanks for asking your highness" she responded and Daisy folded her cuffs in anger as she threw the water she had in the glass onto the floor and the other maids sighed then looked at Julia.

'Clean that up Julia" she said then the girl grabbed a towel and went on her knees before the girl and at the very same time the prince came and saw.

'What are you doing?" he asked and Julia looked at him and her eyes shimmered then he brought forth his hand and she grabbed it then he helped her up.

'Your highness" the maids said then bowed but Julia didn't.

"Julia have some respect for the prince," Daisy said then the girl sighed and bowed to him.

"Julia you are my friend, you don't need to bow to me and I hope that you are hearing me clearly too Daisy," he said in a cold tone and the girls swallowed deeply.

"I hear you," Daisy said then walked away in anger and Julia smiled then hugged the prince and his eyes widened as all the maids stared.

"Uh... Julia" the prince said then the girl swallowed deeply and raised off of him.

"S... sorry your highness," she said and he smiled wickedly then leaned in towards her.

"You don't have to apologize I am glad you are starting to trust me Julia" he replied then her eyes trembled as she looked at him and he winked at her then walked away.

"The prince has never been that way with anyone, he is pretty stern you know, you should be thankful that he actually cares about you," one of the maids said and Julia folded her cuffs.

"I am" she replied as she grabbed the tray of food then walked out of the kitchen heading to the main hall and on her way there Daisy bumped into her causing all the food to fall on the floor and Julia gasped then looked at Dasiy in anger.

"Julia" Dasiy shouted and upon hearing her the other royals came.

"What's wrong?" the queen asked as she saw the food on the floor.

"How did this happen?" the king asked.

"She threw it on the floor" Daisy responded.

"No, she didn't" the knight that she met the other day said as he walked to them.

"Julia is stilll recovering, her feet slipped and she fell," he said then she smiled and the prince saw what was happening then sighed.
