04 - Vs White Dragon Emperor

Vali's POV -

Vali looks at Yukari, who exudes a dangerous aura, with her golden hair and purple eyes. Suddenly, he hears a voice inside his head.

[Vali, be careful. Even I cannot see through this woman], the voice of Albion, one of the Heavenly Dragons, warns him.

'Yeah, I know, Albion. As soon as I saw her, my instincts told me not to fight with her,' Vali responds telepathically.

"Fufufu... Shall we begin now?" Yukari's voice rings out.

"Yeah, let's start!! Balance Break [Divine Dividing: Scale Mail]!" Vali wastes no time and activates his Balance Breaker form. With incredible speed, he charges toward Yukari, delivering a powerful blow. However, Yukari simply laughs and disappears from the spot where Vali struck.

"Chi!" Vali launches multiple magic bullets toward Yukari's presumed location, but to his surprise, they vanish as they approach her. Yukari maintains her smile and taunts, "Is that all?" It's a little disappointing for the White Dragon Emperor, and her smile only further irritates him.

[Calm down, Vali!] Albion's voice resonates, helping Vali regain his composure. "Albion, do you know why my magic can't even get near her?" Vali asks his partner.

"I'm sorry, I don't know how it works," Albion replies.

"Losing concentration in the middle of a battle is dangerous, you know~," Yukari's voice comes from behind Vali, and suddenly, he feels as if a mountain has crashed onto him.

Yukari's POV -

Yukari observes Vali as he rises after being knocked down, meeting her gaze. 'Wow, he actually managed to get up after that,' Yukari thinks, feeling slightly less impressed by Vali's resilience. The attack she used, manipulating the Border [Push/Pull] to generate [Absolute Force], is the same move that incapacitated Arthur, albeit with more power.

Yukari's ability is the manipulation of boundaries. She can create, shape, and manipulate boundaries of various kinds—physical, material, spiritual, existential, pataphysical, logical, conceptual, metaphysical, and more. As everything is defined by boundaries, the possibilities are limitless. However, Yukari's original form has limitations, and her ability cannot be unleashed to its full potential. But with the fusion with Akira, those limitations are erased, making Akira many times stronger than the original Yukari.

Yukari observes Vali, who prepares to attack her again, and she smirks, deciding to play a prank on him. She manipulates the boundary of [Create/Destroy] to gain access to [Meta Ability Creation], then creates Vali's grandfather's Sacred Gear, the [Sacred Gear Canceller].

Yukari then uses the [Sacred Gear Canceller] on Vali.

Vali's POV -

Vali, ready to attack Yukari, suddenly feels his Balance Breaker being canceled.

"What?!?!" Vali and Albion exclaim simultaneously.

"Fufufu... What's the matter, Vali?" Yukari asks with a mischievous smile.

"What are you doing?!" Vali asks, confused about what just happened.

"I simply canceled your Sacred Gear," Yukari replies, her smile hidden behind her fan.

"What?!?" Vali is surprised because only his grandfather possessed that power. Vali tries to activate his Sacred Gear again, but it gets canceled once more.

"It's futile. No matter what you do, your Sacred Gear will continue to be canceled," Yukari explains, her grin visible behind her fan.

[Vali, I don't know how she used that power, but indeed, you cannot use your Sacred Gear], Albion informs him.

"Why do you possess that power?!" Vali asks.

"Ara~ Do you think only Rizevim Lucifer had that power?" Yukari responds with a smile.

Vali falls into silence, listening to her words. Yukari manipulates the Border of [Awake/Sleep] to activate the ability [Self-Sustenance] and tells Vali, "Fufufu... It's time for you to sleep." Vali feels overwhelming drowsiness and loses consciousness. The last thing he sees is Yukari's familiar smile.
