Bikou, Arthur, Kuroka, and Le Fay widened their eyes in astonishment as they witnessed Yukari effortlessly handle Vali.
"Woy... Woy... Seriously, what just happened?" Bikou asked, puzzled.
"I don't know... How did she erase Vali's magic and Sacred Gear?" Arthur replied, adjusting his glasses.
"I couldn't sense any senjutsu, so I don't think that's what she used, nyaa..." added Kuroka.
Yukari then called out to them, drawing their attention.
"Hey... Let's return to the mansion. We wouldn't want your leader sleeping in the forest, right?"
"Yeah, for now, let's go back to the mansion," said Bikou as he lifted Vali, who was unconscious.
Back at the Mansion -
"Hey, can I ask you something?" Bikou inquired after placing Vali on the bed.
"Fufufu... Of course, you can. What do you want to know?" Yukari replied, her usual smile adorning her face.
"What is your power? Kuroka mentioned that it's not senjutsu, and the ability you used to cancel Vali's Sacred Gear, what is it?"
"Ara~... It's not very gentlemanly to ask a woman about her secrets," Yukari responded, using her fan to hide her mouth.
"Well, it's alright if you don't want to answer," Bikou shrugged.
"Ahaha, well, you know I'm a Gap Youkai, right? My inherent ability is [Manipulation of Boundary]. I can manipulate all boundaries, just like Nekoshou has their inherent ability, [Kasha]," Yukari explained with laughter.
Upon hearing Yukari's answer, the four of them widened their eyes in realization, aware of the capabilities her ability possessed.
"I see, the reason my magic disappeared was probably due to you manipulating the Border of [Fantasy/Reality] to erase it," Vali voiced his understanding.
"Vali, are you alright?" Arthur asked.
"Yeah, I just lost consciousness," Vali replied.
"Fufufu... That's the correct answer. I simply shifted the boundary between reality and fantasy, transforming your magic from reality to mere fantasy," Yukari explained to Vali.
Vali thought to himself, 'So that's why she possesses my damn grandfather's ability. She must have manipulated the Border of [Creation/Destroy] to create the [Sacred Gear Canceller].' He realized the potential of her ability and how formidable it truly was.
"I see, so even her seemingly weak punch held immense power thanks to this ability," Arthur remarked, recalling the impact of Yukari's attack that felt like a crashing mountain.
"It's an incredibly fearsome ability," Kuroka added.
Unbeknownst to them, Yukari was aware that they had grasped the nature of her ability. It couldn't be blocked, and even if they knew about it, she could manipulate the Border of [Can/Cannot] to affect their boundaries regardless.
"Fufufu... Can I claim my reward now that I've won?" Yukari asked, her smile unwavering.
"What do you want?" Vali inquired.
"My request is simple. I want to join your team," Yukari replied with her usual smile.
"What?!?!?" Bikou, Le Fay, Arthur, and Kuroka exclaimed in disbelief.
Ignoring their reactions, Vali asked Yukari, "You do realize that we are a terrorist group, right?"
"Of course, I'm aware. But that's precisely what makes your group interesting, fufufu," Yukari answered mysteriously, still smiling.
"Alright, you can join us," Vali decided.
"Vali?!? Are you serious?" Bikou questioned, dragging Vali to a corner of the room.
"Absolutely. I don't sense any malicious intent from her," Vali responded to Bikou while glancing at Yukari.
"Well, if it's Vali's decision, then I'll follow along," Arthur agreed.
"Same here, nyaa," added Kuroka.
"I will also follow my brother's decision," Le Fay chimed in.
They continued their discussion, and Vali mentioned that he needed to return to Azazel's house to avoid raising suspicion. Yukari joined in the conversation, engaging with everyone. She took a particular liking to young magician Le Fay, as she reminded Yukari of her own sister. After conversing with the other members, Yukari excused herself, stating that she had something to attend to, and left.
