This is fiction about kingdom-building, magic, and other things.

There will be Noble ranks and such.

The ranks are:

Royal Family: The Royal Family has the authority to do anything.

Duke: This is the highest degree of nobility and is frequently reserved for members of royal houses. Dukes are frequently in charge of enormous areas.

Marquess/Marquis: This title is typically bestowed upon nobles in control of lesser areas than dukes.

Earl/Count: This is a lower-level position than a marquess/Marquis. Earls or counts are frequently in charge of smaller areas or districts.

Viscount: This rank is often lower than that of an earl or count. Originally, viscounts were appointed as deputies to earls or counts.

Baron: This is the lowest level of nobility.
