"[Sharingan] is one of the best things I could have been born with, and to this day I am extremely grateful for it. But there is a huge problem that this incredible tool brings with it, the despairing thought that not having it causes. You become overdependent on your eyes and just the simple thought of losing them, just that single possibility scares you shitless. You become so obsessed with your eyes that you reach a point where you will do anything to have them again. And that my friend, is just one of the many curses this eye brings with it. You could say that this eye is equal parts powerful and dreadful in many, many ways."~Alt Jin Book: No the eye of the tiger, but a good eye nonethenless~
"You can also consider the [Sharingan] a massive huge crutch, something that causes a heavy overdependence only seen in the most addictive drugs. Yes, I am comparing these eyes to a drug, because that is what they are. The way they enable you to see the world, the way they make anything more colorful, more alive, going back to normal feels almost like some kind of curse. And don't even get me started with the blindness business, when you start going blind your overdependence in these eyes skyrocketed to the stratosphere, it became extremely addicting."~Alt Jin Book: The eye of Sauron feel less evil after I have read this~
"But you should never abandon the [Sharingan] you already know how useful this eye can be, how much you can learn with it, how easy it is to improve using it, how effortless is to spot mistakes, how good is to be able to see everything in slow motion, how good it is to have an expansive field of view. What I want you to do is not to get rid of the crutch, but to transform it into a tool you can use at your leisure, a tool that isn't the source of your strength but just a support to it." Alt Jin Book: The best tool I could've possibly asked for~

The moment I noticed that there weren't any enemies anymore the tension left my body, and I immediately felt the aftereffects.
My sight became unfocused, the blurry world being the ten meters mark became even more blurry, the consequences of using [King Crimson] one of my [Mangekyo Sharingan] abilities demanding I pay the price for its use.
The purple flame-like aura around me flickered, almost as if it was deciding between being on or off, my [Fury] faltered for a moment flickering together with my conscience.
My knees hit the floor.
And I did not like it... Not. One. Bit.
Something inside of me stirred, it felt almost like it was coming from the depths of my soul. But I didn't have much time to think about it when I felt a huge pain shake my whole being. I was expecting my eyes to be hurting like this, but the pain unexpectedly came from my heart, said pain which soon spread through my whole body.
Thankful I was able to remove my turban and my under mask before I vomited blood. A lot of blood. Blood flowed from my mouth liek a coursing river, and with every drop I vomited, the pain in my body grew more and more. Until it suddenly stopped, the sudden stop hit me like a truck and I almost backed out in that instant.
This... I was expecting activating [Fury] again and using [King Crimson] would have consequences... But this was way beyond my wildest imaginations, at least in intensity alone. I took some deep breaths, greedily taking gulps of the rotting air around me, something I completely didn't care about that at this moment. [Wave] was already working overtime to start repairing the damage I dealt to my body, my [Fury] reduced to a feeble almost ghostly purple flame aura around me, I took some more deep breaths and finally noticed something. My [Sharingan] deactivated.
It seems that during all this mess it automatically deactivated. I already could see a huge difference in my sight even without activating it, everything was blurrier, more difficult to see and make shapes off, it was a simple smudge of colors plasted in some obscure abstracted painting, the problem with this; is that no matter where I looked all I could see were abstracted painting, be it up, be it down, bet it any of the sides, everything was just a huge ugly abstract painting.
I reactivated my [Sharingan], and my limited 10 meters sight returned to me yet again. I felt relieved that my range didn't diminish, but when I looked past my range I paled a little bit; it was all abstract paintings. But instead of moping about my loss, I decided to concern myself with other more important things, namely the blood I vomited.
Looking at the ground I almost had a scare. The blood I vomited didn't look like blood by any means, it looked more like molten purplish magma. Heck, the thing is even corroding the solid stone ground right about now, you mean that this shit is also extremely acid?
My blood continue corroding and melting the ground like it is some kind of strange magma, I couldn't help but think 'how the heck this shit was flowing inside of me and I am not dead?'. The blood continues there until it started to frizzle and bubble, slowly some kind of toxic-looking purple smoke started flowing above it, soon my blood started diminishing in size slowly becoming smoke. The smoke soon floated in the air until it completely disappeared...
"T-The fuck just happened?"(Jin).
My surprise was so huge that I couldn't help but blurt it out. Thankfully my throat was still burning and dry from whatever the hell I just vomited, so my voice was extremely low. Not that would've mattered since the chanting in the background is loud as fuck.
I was still kneeling on the ground, my strength tried to slowly leave me, but I know that I couldn't let it. If this first encounter with the necromancers was already this bad, the others deep in the dungeon will most certainly be even worse. Searching those memories filled with hate and rage, pulling the worst I could remember I ignited my [Fury] yet again.
The flicking diminishing purple aura around me suddenly grew to a potent and intense purple flame. My [Wave] that was already working overdrive to heal the internal damages suddenly couldn't keep up anymore. The process of destroying my body started yet again.
But this time the circumstances are completely different. First and foremost I have [Wave] right now, meaning my healing factor is pretty good, sadly that isn't enough to stop the degradation [Fury] causes to my body. Normally that would be a huge problem, but this time I have something that will change the tides in this battle for the safety of my health. [Healing Potions], yep you heard it right, remember that I picked a bunch of healing potions from the storage room?
Picking three [Healing Potions] from one of my belts I remove their stopper and immediately drank everything. I was like I've simply drunk the most satisfying water I could ever imagine, it's like when it is in the height of summer and you drink that water that is freezing cold, it cools your insides completely while also giving you an extremely refreshing sensation. And considering how my situation was it's more accurate to say that I drank water like a man that spent days in the desert without any, which isn't far from the truth now that I think about it.
The healing liquid traveled through my body, boosting my already pretty great [Wave] healing powers, soon enough I was already 100% healed, but [Fury] is something that does continuous damage so the moment these three potions wear off is the moment I will need to drink some again.
Now better not waste any more time and go collect my weapons, and also see if there is some loot arround. I don't know... But... aren't I becoming a little greedier? I don't remember my first thoughts always going to loot like this. I should- OH a nice sword...
I quickly adorned my face with the turban and the under mask yet again, fixing up my disheveled clothes was also a rather easy task since I prioritized practicality over appearance from the beginning.
I proceed to pick up the huge pile of daggers I used, and yes when I said I picked a bunch of daggers back in the storage room I really mean it, and this event has just proven how good it is to have extra ammunition AKA steel daggers. The dagger I used to block the lightning bolt is completely back right now, it didn't lose its edge or anything but it definitely looks cooler right now.
After that, I went towards the wall where my saber was stuck after I had thrown it. Examining the weapon I was astonished to see it was still functional, and without any extensive damage, damn I didn't expect it to be relatively unscattered. Either this is some kind of weapon forged by a master blacksmith or [Wave] is simply that good, or it could simply be that cut through all those undeads slowed down its traveling speed making its impact less significant and damaging.
Then I went for the remains of the Patchwork Zombies, liking it or not they were sporting full plate iron armor and carrying two-handed steel swords, and while I don't have much use for the iron armor the five steel two-handed swords are of great use to me.
Picking a sword that if elt was relatively okay I put it in the sheath of my previous word I destroyed it to due my that skill. Rest in peace random two-handed sword, I will make sure I never forget you.
The other four swords I put then on their sheaths, and with clever use of rope and leather strip, I managed to somehow stitch them to my backpack. Normally the with I am carrying would be something extremely disadvantageous for a normal human, but not only I am very strong physically I am also a cultivator, and [Wave] is no joke. So I could barely feel all this weight I am carrying, and if it somehow becomes cumbersome I am not afraid of simply tossing something away. Well if guess now I could decide if I am-
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM*
Looking towards the stairs I had come from I could barely suppress a twitch of anger from rising. Right now gigantic round boulder was blocking the exit, apparently, my idea of abusing the storage room to constantly resupply is immediately shot down.
But before I did anything else I checked the whole hall yet again, I was trying to find anything from those necromancers I killed but it appears that the way I killed them was brutal enough to not leave anything, or they simply weren't carrying anything of significance that could have survived my attack. I only ended up finding three daggers but that is it, they were just three normal-looking steel daggers, my [Sharingan] didn't detect any magic coming from them, so they aren't enchanted.
Looking towards the big tunnel the necromancers and the undead came from I sighed once before walking forward, towards my destiny, whatever it is.
