Kessiana's Pov

Have you ever felt like a stranger in your own life?

Thats what I feel right now. I don't remember anything about my life before now. My head hurts.

I was told I had an accident which I can't even remember having. I'm here in the hospital the walls white with light blue drapes , the smell of disinfectants and medicine is killing me.

I want to leave already.I was told I was going to be discharged today but since I woke up from coma two weeks ago no one has come to visit me. So who signed the papers?.

"Miss kessiana Gray" A woman in a blue overall and blonde hair (the nurse assigned to me).

"Uhm that's me"

"Here are some clothes for you to change into, the doctor is coming to check on you soon" She says as she drops a bag on a chair and goes out of the room.

I pull off the hospital gown and put on the pair of black jeans, a blue top and a white converse and sit on the bed.

"Kessiana" I look towards where the voice came from and see Doctor Stephanie walk in with a file and pen in her hand.

"Hi Doc"

"How are you Kessiana?" She says taking my temperature and checking my bandaged arm.

"Im pretty good apart from not knowing anything else about myself other than my name."

"You will be fine, you're going to be discharged today"

"Who signed the papers ?, who is picking me up?"

"Your mum is" she says scribbling something on the file."My mum?"

"Yes your mum, she will be here in minutes , I have to go attend to some other patients"

"Ok Doc" I said lying down on the bed.

30 minutes later,

A woman with dark shoulder length brown hair and brown eyes walks into the room. She smiles when she sees me.

"Kessiana" she walks towards me her eyes watery as she comes to hug me. She looks up at me gives me a kiss and sits beside me on the bed.

"You're my mum?" I scan her face trying to remember. Ok I shouldn't have done that now my head hurts more.

"Yes hun, I wanted to come see you immediately I was informed that you had woken up but the doctor said you couldn't see anyone till you're ready to be discharged so you would not stress your head trying to remember" she said holding my hands.

"Your brother will be here soon, I left him to park the car"

"I have a brother?" I really hate not being able to remember anything.

I even had to be told my name.

She nods in response and stands "I have to go see the doctor before we leave" I nod in response and she walks out the door.

I'm really bored I don't even have a phone and the tv is not showing anything eye catching.

Few minutes later, a brown haired guy with hazel eyes guy walks into my room with flowers and a packet of chocolate in hand.

"Kessiana" he smiles at me.

I feel the urge to smile back so I let out a small smile.

"Im guessing you're my brother but I can't remember your name" I said sitting up.

"It's Jake, I understand mum told me what the doctor said , these are for you"

"Thanks, I really have missed chocolates and real food" I said laughing out.

"Yeah I know you have" he smiles.

"We should go out tomorrow, I could use the opportunity to show you around"

"That will be cool" just as I reply mum and Doctor Stephanie walk in.

"Kessiana you can go home now" she smiles at me.

"Make sure you take your medications,get a lot of rest and see the therapist I have recommended for you"

I nod my head in response.

"Take care of her Mrs Gray" Doctor Stephanie said and walks out

"I will" mum says smiling at me.

"Ok lets get going"

Six months later,

Nothing much has changed I still don't remember much, I have been seeing a therapist twice a week for six months and it's tiring.

And I've been enrolled in a new school. Mum told me we moved out of our old town just before the accident when Dad died,Jake has travelled abroad to continue his studies. It really is boring around here without him.

"Hey kess", my friend Amelia waves while heading to meet me at our lunch table

"Hey Ami" I said not looking at her concentrating on my lunch of fries and an apple

"Homecoming is next friday ,have you got a date yet ?? "Amelia asks while she takes the seat across me

"I don't think I'll be going for the dance". I said while taking the last of my fries.

Why? She asked looking worried

"Don't get ur panties in a twist I just don't want to go" more like I don't have anyone to go with I say to myself.

What about Aaron he hasn't asked you yet?? She said

winking.

I look up at her not knowing what to say I dont know how to tell her . I end up staring at her saying nothing.

The scene of Aaron with his lips on Michelle plays in my mind. I have ways hated Michelle she and her dollies always picked on me since I can remember. She and her minions try to get under my skin every single chance they get.

Amelia waves her hand in front of my face " Down to Earth to kess" I look up at her confused

"Kess why do you zone out a lot?"

I look up at her and smile . A fake smile,I hope she doesnt see through it.

"

Im sorry Ami I have just got some things on my mind" Amelia shakes her head and gives me a look that says spill

I just look up at her and about to say something when I notice her boyfriend Troy walking over to our table.

"Hey look Troy is coming over "

She gives me a look that says we'll continue this talk later and turns to place a kiss on her boyfriend lips.

"Hey kess" Troy greets

I smile "Hi troy"

Troy is the line back of the football team of Riverside High.

He is mostly seen with Aaron, Cason and Evans but today he's alone

.They are all in the football team, Aaron is the quaterback,Cason is the Goal keeper and Evans is one of the players, they are all really good.

sometimes I and Amelia go watch their games well I just tag along with Amelia cause shes my bestfriend (well. I secretly enjoy the game) while she goes to cheer the team .

"Hey Troy where are your friends "

I asked Troy while eating the rest of my apple and rolling my eyes mentally at my poor excuse of starting a conversation.

"uhhhmmm around I guess I haven't seen them today though" Troy said putting his left arm around on Amelia's shoulder.

"Ok Uhmm guys I gotta go now "I said taking my bag

"See you after school Amelia "

"Bye lovebirds" I said winking

I walk to the libary to get a Book to read over the weekend before the bell for lunch goes off.

"Hi Mrs Henderson" I said to the middle aged librarian with blonde straight hair packed into a tight ponytail.

"Hi Amelia, what can I do for you today?"

"I just need a book to read over the weekend and to return the ones I collected earlier" I say while looking around to know what shelf I'll search through first.

"Alright I hope you find one"

Mrs Henderson says with a tight smile. I turn to go and start my search for a nice book to read but I bump into someone.

I look up about to say sorry but I stop when I see who it is

Right in front of me was Aaron. I am so angry with him, i dont even know why and here he was, standing too close, his hands on my shoulders, his smile choked me.

"I've been looking for you" he said while smiling and gesturing for us to go somewhere to talk. He held my hand and started walking out of the library.

I didnt want to cause a scene so I follow him.We walked out of the library and into an empty classroom. He kept holding me even after we got into the classroom.

"What do you want" I said and tried to wriggle my hand out of his.He didnt say a word but kept moving closer and the more he moved closer the more i stepped back till i hit the wall.

"Say what you want to say already" I said as I felt my heart beat increasing due to the proximity.

His lips brushed my neck and my cheek, I shivered which made him chuckle. His sweet sounding chuckle.

What am I doing I am supposed to be mad at him,not thinking about him.

"WILL YOU GO TO HOMECOMING WITH ME?" He said smiling at me expectanctly.

I tried to gain control and not yell but I couldnt help it. I was so mad at him.

"No, I don't want to be seen with the guy that was locking lips with Michelle minutes ago" I said to him

He was shocked,

"Kess, a kiss isn't all that serious,I could kiss you too if you want" he said smirking.

I was so furious,"No take your filthy lips they are really pink and look really soft but im not gonna say that to him away from me and don't forget to ask your pretty little bitch to go to Homecoming with you" I hissed and walked away.

I liked Aaron I don't think its a crush but Amelia says it is, well I haven't told him and I guess he's never going to find out cause I'm already beginning to dislike him.

I'm so mad at him what does he think of me I'm so not like Michelle and because of him I'll be bored all through the weekend with no book to read.

And I can't call Amelia for a girls hangout because she's got a date

with Troy. This makes me more angry with Aaron.

How could he..?

I walk angrily into my History class and sit down.

"Uuuuurgggh" I groan while I take my seat. Some heads turn to look at me but I don't care. He used his pink and soft looking lips well now filthy lips to touch me.

Damn you Aaron

The history teacher walks in the class and starts the class. I try to pay attention but I'm just so angry.

The class ends and I walk straight to the parking lot to take my black with a bit of blue bike.

I'm gonna be so bored this weekend and its all Aaron's fault.
