Family Drama

Elder Ming walked into the family estate full of anger, yelling for a calming cup of tea. He has never been so angry in his life about the things that he learned. Sitting down in his chair in the living room he tried to calm himself but with no luck. Hearing Nanny Rong coming down the stairs and asked for a cup of jasmine tea, and some medicine for his raging headache.

He has lived a long life and couldn't believe something so immoral has happened to his own family. Today was so bright when he woke up and was looking forward to seeing his eldest granddaughter walk down a happy path. To find out that she was betrayed by the man he selected and his other granddaughter made him have a belly full of rage.

Nanny Rong returned and handed the elder his tea and medicine and stood to the side to wait for further instructions. After calming himself and getting his emotions back to a stable level, he gave Nanny Rong a hard look.

"Where is Ming Na?"

"Sir, the young miss is upstairs resting in her room."

Elder Ming nodded his head in understanding, with everything that has happened today he felt calm knowing that Ming Na returns instead of doing something foolish. He already called for a family meeting when he was returning from the hotel, today he would not have any mercy on those who do wrong to the family honor.

Deep in his thoughts, he didn't see his daughter and her husband enter the house until they came over to give a bow. His daughter sat down and gave him a very sad face that looked like she could break out in tears at any moment. Ming Xia never expected that such a thing would happen today and could only curse her older brother for not teaching his daughter any morals.

"Dad, how are you feeling?" She asked in a concerned voice.

Elder Ming let a huge sigh and put his cup down, "How could I be fine? My two granddaughters are in the middle of a huge scandal and I most now enforce family law that hasn't been used since I was a young boy."

Ming Xia nodded her head in understanding, she knew how much her father spoiled his grandchildren but he couldn't be soft with such a matter. If he was then he would be dishonoring her older brother memory by harming his child.

"Dad, whatever you decide you have our full support. Such acts shouldn't go unpunished in today's society." Ming Xia said with a serious. Chen Jun nodded his head in agreement with his wife's statement, fully supporting whatever action Elder Ming decided to use.

Ever since Ming Xia's older brother and his wife died he was there when Ming Na was growing up and looked at her as a daughter. Ming Na might have been a sweet and quiet girl but he knew she had a huge heart which must be breaking at the betrayal earlier.

Nanny Rong gave Ming Xia and Chen Jun some tea when the doorbell rung, going to answer she saw that it Ming Bai, his wife, and Ming Zhu. She told Elder Ming and waited to for his instruction on whether to let the trio enter or not. Elder Ming truly did not want to see Ming Zhu but it was better to get everything done while the whole family was together.

When the trio entered they could feel the cold mood and walked over toward Elder Ming with their head down. Looking at Ming Zhu's face, Elder Ming started to get angry once more, and his face started to turn red.

"Why are you not kneeling, you shameless girl!" He yelled.

Ming Zhu trembled and glanced at her parents and did as her grandfather said, kneeling on the floor with a loud thud. Her heart was heavy but not because she was sad at what she did, because her plans were ruined. For three years she worked hard to seduce Liu Kang, and once he married her older cousin everything that she had would be hers. With her head down she fought with herself not show her anger and waited to see what her grandfather would do.

Ming Bai saw his daughter shaking and he felt bad for her, was it her fault that she fell in love. He did believe that it was wrong for her to sneak around with Liu Kang but the two youngsters were in love and it was nothing wrong with that fact. He came to the family meeting to calm his father, he knew how important the honor of the family name was to Elder Ming and realize he needs to calm his emotions.

Getting on his knees with his daughter he gave Elder Ming a pleading look. He was ready to plead and say whatever he needed to for his father to calm his emotions. Just before he could start his sad performance he heard footsteps coming down the stairs. Everyone became quiet and looked over at the young lady walking down the stairs who had red eyes and frown on her face.

"What's going on?" She said in a small voice.
