36 Chapter 36 (The truth final part)

The sound of blood sprinkling about could be heeded within a giant pit. Zooming in into the median section of the cavern... a large hole could be discerned from below.
Hundreds of meters wide directly connected to the surface. Flanking about around it large rigid roots... crisscrossed against the wall.
And directly at the very bottom of this hole, large crater kilometers in diameter could be observed existing there due to the previous blast.
In the middle of this crater... in the extensively caved-in area. Sat there the large man from before with his back on the cold charred crystalline floor. His eyes appeared to be hollowed as if he was already dead but his breathing still implied that he was still alive.
It's just half alive that is... Blood oozing out from every corner of his body bathing the surrounding into a pool of red liquid added within it some black substances
"Wh-what happened?... "
The man mumbled in disbelief as he attempted himself... struggling to urge his body to move but minutes later. Not even a single inch of muscle managed to...

The man unhurriedly enunciated with an aggrieved expression on his face.
"Yes, you did fail Lord Delektus."
An abrupt young and vigorous voice trembled ahead of him. There... Eli and Senior Weyn stood side by side with their eyes darted towards him.
"You know me?"
He asked in a hoarse voice... with his hollowed eyes barely peering up trying to see the youngster that somehow, had miraculously survived.
"Yes... you had been sent here under the order of one of the great founders for a very important mission. But instead, you betrayed the empire and fought against the hidden blade within the camp... Greed surely had consumed you. How pitiful"
"The mission objective had fled away... and you had heavily injured the hidden blade master... the last voice transmission of the survivor had been made. They will arrive sooner or later."
Listening to the boy's word... a stunning look arose on his deathly pale face.
"H-how did you know all of this?"
"Who are you?"
"I'm simply a nobody with a lot of connection. That's all."
"Hahaha a nobody? hahaha... brat... I must admit it... your information.. all of them are correct. But... that's not even half of it all hahaha!!"
Unexpectedly he cackled...
He laughed in contempt even though his life is nearing its end.
"What do you mean by that?"
A huge grimace arose on Eli's face...
Information is one thing that he didn't lack... and misconceptions are his biggest fear.
"They are waging war! no! not they... it's her!! hahaha!... those freaks from the upper domain will come down here instead. It was never really about us! Hahaha!"
"Care to explain?"
"Why do you think I maddened for more power?"
"Why?... isn't it because of your greed?"

Eli suddenly muttered with a disgusted look on his face.

He began to shout frantically as if he had gone crazy.

His voice smothered itself as it gradually echoed into the surrounding...

Eventually... he found himself in the middle of a large basin. Where in the middle of it an enormous hole could be discerned stretched over kilometers of width. Directly connected below to where The death worm emperor once escaped to.
"Those humans should be down there... but"
"There's a disgusting scent around them... I don't know what it is but one thing I can confirm is that... I hate it"

Having said that... Hiro slowly unwrapped his mouth as in the next second a large white energy bomb gradually materialized in front of it.
