The city was big.
There were thousands, no, hundreds of thousands if not millions of people around.
Even the continent of Entora probably never had so much people.
But-
For a city that big, for a population this dense- these people… weren't really all that happy.
"You think they're about to withdraw?" Armi said.
Mihael and Armi walked around the city.
They were getting stares from the ordinary people. who were mostly just farmers and typical workers.
The guys in suits, were mostly just white tall men. Salary men, sailors, soldiers, government employees.
There were of course black men in suits too but kind of rare.
"Judging by the state of things, yes. Tell me, what do you do when you first conquer a new land?"
"Take all their resources so they won't be able to launch a revolution."
"And what if you take too much and the people become desperate?"
Some stalls here and there.
