Lie Fan was watching the fire calmly as it engulfed Lu Bu's body, he was feeling a bit emotional because even though Lu Bu was his enemy, at the end of the day I also showed that Lu Bu is a person who was easily changed according to the environment he was in.

In the original timeline, Lu Bu was an arrogant and greedy person with a bad temper but after meeting with Diao Chan whose beauty caused him to fall in love with her, became almost like Dong Zhuo's indulgent in drinking wine and watching Diao Chan.

Now in this timeline, since Diao Chan had become his wife and left Luoyang at an earlier time before the start of Dong Zhuo's reign, Lu Bu even though still an arrogant and greedy person with a bad temper the love he had was directed for his family.

That familial love pushed him to strive for a better world for his family, it was a selfish love but much better than the one he had in the original timeline, Lie Fan closed his eyes and heaved a sigh while thinking about all of that.

At this time suddenly a long-lost system notification sound was heard, he opened his eyes and saw the system window pop up in front of him.

Lie Fan seeing the rewards he received for this mission was truly shocked especially Lu Bu's Power Shard, he didn't expect that he could receive this kind of thing from the system.

Lie Fan asked Sun Tzu the system AI if he could hit more of this power shard from the system or any other shard other than Lu Bu, Sun Tzu replied that a shard couldn't be bought from the store and only be given out as a reward by the system if certain completion conditions are met.

Hearing what Sun Tzu said, Lie Fan was surprised by the answer because he had expected the answer to be like that while waiting for Sun Tzu's reply he tried to search for a shard in the system store but didn't find it.

After storing everything inside his inventory, Lie Fan used Lu Bu's Power shard and integrated it into his soul where he received a 20 strength increase and knowledge of all Lu Bu's Weapon Mastery, which made Lie Fan much stronger.

The strength increase isn't that good at least average in Lie Fan's opinion, while it was a good upgrade as his strength has reached 900 and can't be upgraded with a potion anymore, the weapon mastery is the true reward because it was his weak point.

Unlike other strong generals such as Lu Bu, Dian Wei, Zhang Liao, Guan Yu, and others, Lie Fan weapon master can be said to be average at best because he doesn't train every day, unlike the others who trained every day to increase their strength and weapon handling.

Lie Fan while thinking of his reward and watching Lu Bu's funeral pyre burning strongly, was called by Chen Gong from the side who woke him up from his thoughts, Chen Gong who received Lie Fan's attention invited him to the main tent to discuss the next move for Lu Bu's Army.

Lie Fa accepted the invitation and alongside his bodyguards and advisors, he followed Chen Gong and entered the tent where inside there were Lu Lingqi, Zhang Liao, Gao Shun, Cheng Lian, Hou Cheng, Song Xian, Wei Xu, Hao Meng, & Cao Xing waiting for him.

Lie Fan: "Oh? Looks like we would have a truly serious discussion with Young Lady Lu and Lu Bu's seven top generals are waiting for me here."

Lu Lingqi: "Humph! Stinky Lie Fan don't think so highly of yourself! We are all here invited by Master Chen Gong, not to wait for you!"

Chen Gong: "Young Lady and Lord Lie Fan, please don't argue with each other again, I invited everyone because we would truly discuss the next step for Lord Lu Bu's Army."

Zhang Liao: "Some immediately agree, some hesitate before agreeing, and the rest don't agree but it was in a small amount and I alongside Gao Shun and Cheng Lian managed to persuade them and stop them from leaving."

Gao Shun: "Like what Wenyuan has just said since the middle and lower ranking of our Army have agreed, the soldiers will follow our lead and slowly be integrated into Lord Lie Fan Force."

Lu Lingqi: "You all agree while I'm not! Do all of you hear what you have just said?!"

Chen Gong: "Young Lady since My Lord is gone now, for the stability of Lord Lu Bu's Army and the safety of both you and the Madam, we have concluded that this was the best course since if we all joined Lord Lie Fn, we can protect the Young Lady and the Madam with Lord Lie Fan."

Lu Lingqi hearing what Che Going said just turned her head and pouted, ignoring the sad, regretful, and somber look everyone had toward her except for Lie Fan's gaze which was different from the others as it filled with curiosity and appreciation.

Since Lu Lingqi had turned quiet, Chen Gong then continued to speak that as all of Lu Bu's Army hierarchy had agreed then he and Lu Bu's seven top generals formally declared their allegiance to Lie Fan.

After Chen Gong finishes saying that he bows down to Lie Fan, followed by Zhang Liao, Gao Shun, and the rest of Lu Bu's Seven Top Generals.

Lu Lingqi who saw this just stayed quiet as she knew that nothing she said could change their mind, and she also understood their position that since her father was gone now, while they were sad their life still needed to move on.

Lie Fan who saw this immediately told everyone to stand up and with a big smile accepted all of them to his service, he promised that he would live up to his word and protect Lu Lingqi and Lady Yan.

While saying that Lie Fan uses the Eye of Erlang Shen to see the attributes of Lu Linqi, Chen Gong, Zhang Liao, Gao Shun, and others.

Lie Fan was satisfied with the attributes that all of them had and was even surprised that Lu Lingqi had broken through her limit and reached a new high, something that could happen but needed something to push for it to happen and the limit was according to the original timeline counterparts.

After looking at their attributes, Lie Fan then asked Chen Gong what he planned for their next move, and Chen Gong told Lie Fam that they should move to Changyang County which was the biggest county between the two counties he received.

Xun You, Zhuge Jin, Man Chong, and Lu Zhi agreed with Chen Gong's plan because they should consolidate Lie Fan's control over these two counties.

Receiving agreement from Lie Fan's other advisors, Chen Gong nodded his head to thank them for their support, and Lie Fa who heard tho agreed to Chen Gong's suggestion and told everyone to prepare for their move tomorrow after collecting Lu Bu's Ashes.

Lu Lingqi who heard Lie Fan's last word immediately jolted her body and headed outside to join her mother, Lie Fan who saw this shale his head in amusement and then dismissed the meeting they had.

Everyone dispersed to prepare for their march tomorrow, while Lie Fam followed by Xun You, Chen Gong, Zhuge Jin, Man Chong, and Lu Zhi headed outside where they were greeted by the sight of Lu Lingqi and her women's unit collecting the ashes from Lu Bu's funeral pyre that have all turned to ash.

Lie Fan stands beside Lady Yan who was guarded by Lu Bu's elite guard who was entrusted to protect his family, looking upon Lu Lingqi and her unit silently.

Lady Yan who was suddenly joined by Lie Fan was surprised at first but seeing Chen Gong behind Lie Fan she knew that it was official there was no more Lu Bu's Army and all had joined under Lie Fan except for the elite guards who protected her, Lady Yan turned toward Lie Fan to thank him once again for accepting Lu Bu's request and then his army under him, in which Lie Fan said it wasn't a big deal and he also receive some benefits so it was actually a good thing for him.
