236. Battle Of Taishan Part 2, Xin Yan & Yu Ming

Lu Bu turned his head toward Chen Gong, asking him if he should agree to the plan that was proposed by Gao Shun and supported by Zhang Liao, Chen Gong thinking that he hadn't thought of any plan nodded his head in agreement, Lu Bu who saw this immediately give his order for Zhang Liao to pick the best men to do this task, Zhang Liao cupped his hand receiving the order.

Under the cover of the night, Zhang Liao led a small group of men he handpicked personally, and dug holes, and created traps in the middle of the field, unnoticed by the patrols in Cao Cao and Liu Bei's camp.

Zhang Liao's tremendous strength helped the process to be faster, Zhang Liao's men helped him by making the hole deeper and putting in a sharp wood log, hoping that it could stop Cao Cao's cavalry where showing some sign of strength could fight against the Bingzhou Cavalry.

Bingzhou Wolf Cavalry was the ultimate weapon of Lu Bu's army, and Cao Cao's Cavalry showed some signs of a threat to Lu Bu's Cavalry is a show of its testament, of course, the world still doesn't know about the Tian Mao Battalion.

Even though there were some setbacks for the combined army, Lu Bu's army was pushed back by them multiple times due to the amount of talented generals on their side was bigger than Lu Bu's side.

Xiahou Dun, Xiahou Yuan, Cao Ren, Yu Jin, Yue Jin, Li Dian, Cao Hong, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei some of the top generals on the combined army side were much more powerful and experienced than Lu Bu's generals.

On Lu Bu's side, the only people who are on their level or can contain them at least are Lu Bu himself, Zhang Liao, Gao Shun, Cheng Lian, and Hou Cheng while the rest aren't on the same level.

Lu Bu was the Lord so he stayed on the command which was located on the main battlefield, since Cao Cao and Liu Bei also sent their army through the main battlefield just to disable the traps made by Zhang Liao or cover them up.

Guo Jia: "Looks like Chen Gong has seen through our planned step and countered it by bolstering the left and right side of the battlefield, he is truly a talented man since he can keep up with the three of us."

Xi Zhicai: "That's why I lamented his choice to serve Lu Bu, Lu Bu's survival right now is all thanks to Master Chen Gong."

While the Battle of Taishan is still ongoing, at Xiapi Lie Fan is looking at both of his newborn daughters in the hands of their respective Mothers Diao Chan and Cai Wenji who are holding them right now.

Lie Fan after discussing with Diao Chan and Cai Wenji, also getting some insight from Cai Yong, Zhuge Xuan, and Lu Zhi has decided to name Diao Chan's baby girl Lie Xin Yan and Cai Wenji's baby girl Lie Yi Nuo.

Xin Yan's meaning is beauty and vitality in the hope that she will become a beauty just like her mother, while also having the vitality of her father Lie Fan, she is called Yanyan by both Lie Fan and Diao Chan.

As for Yu Ming meaning is Jade Brightness, in the hope that her future and her life will be as bright as jade, not having the same bad experiences that Cai Wenji experienced and having the beauty of her mother, she was called Mingming by Lie Fan and Cai Wenji.

Wannian is the tallest among her group of friends for now, so she declares herself as the boss where Sima Yi immediately seconds her motion trying to make her happy, while Zhuge Liang asks sheepishly why it has to be her who became the boss, and Lu Xun just nod his head in agreement.
