15 First Day
Kibo sat in the lotus position underneath a tree, meditating and focusing his Chakra into his 2nd Gate.
All the snow had melted, the winter had finally passed, and everything was in bloom. It was as if spring had arrived early.
Thanks to Seiryu's instruction, Kibo learned that spring was the best season to absorb wood energy.
Whenever he took a breath inward, Kibo felt a surge of lifeforce entering his body, revitalizing all of his cells with vibrant energy.
As he let out a breath of foul air, he noticed that the collected lifeforce finally broke through his 2nd gate,
The Gate of Healing opened repairing any hidden damage inside his body. Sequelae even Kibo was unaware of was, healed in an instant.
The regeneration factor had increased so greatly, he felt like he could even re-grow destroyed organs, and with Seiryu's input, Kibo learned that as long as the body part in question wasn't completely destroyed, he could reattach the severed limb.
Kibo stood up and stretched while looking at his status.

After he finished checking his status, Kibo walked inside to see Naruto and Karin hard at work.
The two were on the verge of mastering the overall essence of Ninshu themselves. Kibo smiled at their progress before saying, "Tomorrow we head to our first day of class. Are you two prepared?"
Both Naruto and Karin had finished their Pink Muscle Transformation months ago. Their bodies rippled with hidden strength, even if they didn't show monstrous bulked out muscles.
Before Kibo could hurry them along by asking, "You guys ready to leave?" Naruto suddenly stood up and shouted "I got it! It all makes sense now."
Karin, who was one step ahead of Naruto, also shared an expression of joy as she too seemed to have finished reading the Ninshu Scroll.
"I guess the answers yes!" Kibo said as their clones dissipated, giving them that last bit of knowledge they needed to master their Ninshu studies.
Karin had stayed over for dinner again. The three kids, trying as hard they could, couldn't help but show excited expressions.
Tomorrow they get to show the results of their training.
After dinner, Kibo walked Karin home as usual. When they reached her apartment door Kana had appeared to be waiting for her by it.
"It's good to see you again, Kibo. Has Karin been making things hard on you?" Kana asked smiling at the two mischievously.
Kana had already completed her residency and was a full-time doctor now, working for the prestigious Konohagakure Hospital.
She looked healthy and in good shape, a far cry from their previous impoverished appearance.
"No! She's been a great help! No problems at all!" Kibo replied to Karin's mother with a shy look on his face.
Karin gave him a hug and snuck in a kiss to the cheek before she headed heading inside.
"How do I keep falling for that?!" Kibo thought on his way back home.
Later that night, Naruto and Kibo almost couldn't fall asleep. They were way too lucid to rest properly.
When they got up the next morning they laughed at the dark rings under each other's eyes and then ate their meals before heading to Konoha Academy.
When the two finally arrived they saw the Academy in all its splendor. The compound was a very large structure. It was comprised of several buildings that were connected to the main bulk of the construct. Attached to the tallest structure in the Academy, the giant sign with the kanji for "fire" stood out like a sore thumb as intended.
Next to the Academy was a large grass-covered field with a tree in front of it. Attached to its branch was a small wooden and rope swing, a place Naruto spent a lot of time alone on. However, in this timeline, Kibo refused to let him reach such a state.
Children and their parents had come in hoards. Kibo spotted a few familiar faces in the crowd, there were all the children from the major clans Uchiha, Hyuga, Aburame, Akimichi, Inuzuka, Lee, Nara, Shimura, Yamanaka, and a few new ones joining from the Chinoike Clan and Hoshi Clan.
Kibo even noticed Sasuke's mom repeatedly sneaking looks at Naruto. He knew that Mikoto was good friends with Kushina and that she worried about Naruto's safety. Kibo also knew why she couldn't be the one to take care of him.
With the accusations against her Clan and the destruction caused by the Nine-Tailed Fox, there was no way the Council was going to let an Uchiha adopt him. However, after seeing that he looked healthy and happy, she let out a sigh of relief.
After orientation, the parents had to leave. The kids were gathered and separated into male and female.
Each was placed aside from one another and had Chunins overseeing the event as they chose two names at a time for sparing.
This was a test of each of the kids' specialties and current progress.
"Kibo versus Shikamaru!"
Kibo looked up at the announcer in surprise, he didn't think he'd be up to fight first.
Kibo walked forward to see a young Shikamaru rubbing the back of his head while saying, "Man! What a drag!"
Kibo chuckled as he stood front and center.
The two performed the Seal of Reconciliation, shook, and then jumped back.
Instead of directly confronting Kibo, Shikamaru threw some training shuriken that had their edges dulled, just to test his speed.
Kibo dodged easily avoiding all of them by a wide margin.
"Okay, you have speed," Shikamaru thought before he performed the hand signs for his shadow binding technique.
Kibo could have dodged but he was interested in what Shikamaru had planned, it wasn't often one would come to met someone with a similar IQ.
The shadow traveled to the previous Shuriken he threw on the ground and extended to Kibo's feet.
After the bind hit Shikamaru looked over Kibo with a frown and thought, "Why did he make that so easy?"
"No matter, I still accomplished my goal." Shikamaru quieted his mind and rubbed the back of his neck before saying, "Now let's see. Your arms should be around 2 inches longer than my own."
Shikamaru then crouched onto one knee and placed his fist in a striking position.
Kibo thought it felt strange having his body manipulated by the Shadow Bind Technique. He had enough strength to overcome the Jutsu, but he figured out what Shikamaru was doing and let him go through with his plan.
"Let's see how strong you really are!" Shikamaru declared as he punched towards the ground and stopped just an inch from hitting.
Kibo however, struck the earth with around a tenth of his strength, causing spider web fractures to spread out from the impact.
Shikamaru, most of the students and teachers who were watching shook in fright.
"How can his physique be so strong?" countless murmurs and gossip could be heard from the crowd.
Shikamaru's next sentence made the crowd even more confused, he threw his hands into the air and said "I give! Seriously, why did I have to fight a freak like you first? What a drag!"
"It was fun. Not bad, from an analytic point of view," Kibo said holding his hand out.
"Whatever, you could have broken my Shadow Binding Jutsu whenever you wanted to," Shikamaru replied.
After the crowd had calmed down, the next sparring partners were called out, "Shino versus Kiba!"
Unfortunately, Shino's Tai-Jutsu skills weren't on Kiba's level and the use of his Chakra Insects was forbidden.
Not because they counted as additional helpers but the children were much too young to survive their attacks. Even the most basic Chakra draining bugs would be harmful to the children's foundations.
The matches continued in the following order.
Choji versus Non-Cannon Ninja A; winner Choji.
Karin versus Non-Cannon Ninja B, Karin won in one hit. The poor girl never stood a chance.
[1]Around the same time as Karin's victory, at the second year reassessment test area, Neji versus Lee. Lee got stomped after being taunted by Neji, and a great fire was born in Lee, one of intense rivalry.
Sumaru versus Sai.
Kibo had been wondering what happened to Sai and his brother. Sumaru was the main filler character for the Star Village Saga. It was interesting to see the two fighting against one another.
After Danzo was ousted and placed in the bingo book as an S-Rank bounty, almost all of his subordinates had been rounded up.
Much to the Hokage's dismay, the memories of Danzo and anything they had to do with him had been wiped clean from their minds. The other half had fled or had been killed.
After the Yamanaka's mind scour cleared them for duty, the abused Nin and were given new identities while relocated to places that would appreciate their talents. Of course, they still had Ninja's keeping an eye on them.
Any of the children found in Danzo's Anbu were placed in the same orphanage Naruto used to live at. However, they were allowed to keep any funds they made during their time working for Danzo.
This included Sai and his brother.
The fight was interesting, the people got a good look at the Hoshi style of combat and Sai's Ink Jutsus impressed a lot of teachers.
Ultimately Sumaru won, the Star Chakra molding style had three basic shapes for combat, Blast makes a powerful energy beam formed from an explosion of star Chakra, Rush increases speed by sending small blasts of Star Chakra along to aid the user's movements, and Equip-Style forms a weapon or armor made of Star Chakra.
Sai's paintings gave him just as much versatility as Sumaru and forced him into a corner many times. But in the end, Sumaru had far more Chakra than his opponent and outlasted Sai.
Ino Yamanaka versus Hinata Hyuga.
Naruto cheered for Hinata, but she was too scared to fight properly, after a few minutes Ino had managed to defeat her with a Mind Swap Jutsu. After freaking out about being in another person's body, Hinata fainted, giving Ino an easy win.
Sakura versus Tenten, the fight was unexpectedly pretty good, the two were around the same level concerning Tai-Jutsu and it was the first draw of the spars.
When the next fight was called Kibo was really curious to watch, "Naruto versus Sasuke!"
The fan-girls, including Sakura and Ino, squealed at the same time, "SASUKE!"
As he stepped out of the crowd, the two met and shook hands before getting into a combative position.
Kibo knew Naruto hadn't really practiced his Tai-Jutsu all that much, but his physical strength should still give him a better chance of succeeding.
Naruto dashed forward and put everything he had into a single punch.
Sasuke placed his hand out to block, a look of confidence could be seen in his expression.
When fist and palm connected Sasuke felt a stinging sensation run throughout the length of his arm, but he didn't let that stop him from acting.
Using Naruto's momentum against him, he dropped to the ground and flung him into a nearby tree.
Naruto, unfortunately, landed in a bad position. He missed the landing for the branch he was aiming for and ended up slamming into the tip of it with his sensitiveness bits.
Naruto winced in pain as he fell from the tree holding his crotch.
Hinata saw what happened and wanted to offer her help, but when she thought of the part that was wounded, she turned red and fainted.
Kibo was using every ounce of his will-power, trying not to laugh.
They declared Sasuke the winner, yet when the girls came out to rush at him, they paused and looked at Sasuke with an intense expression of worry.
"Sasuke your hand!" One of the fan-girls screamed.
No sooner than the other fan-girls screamed and some fainted, Sasuke felt a throbbing pain coming from his palm.
He looked down at his hand to see it swelling up like a plump tomato.
One of the teachers with medic training took a look at the child's wound and laughed before declaring, "Nothing's broken. But the muscles in your hand are severely damaged and torn."
A blueish Chakra came out from the teacher's hands as she touched the wound. She then smiled and said, "There! All better."
Sasuke bowed and thanked her when he saw Naruto crawling over like a worm, "No fair, me too." He cried.
The medical teacher took one look at him and said, "You couldn't pay me to heal that!" while pointing to his crotch.
Sasuke let out a snort as he tried to stifle his laugh.
"Did you just laugh at me?!" Naruto roared as he tried to stand up, but it was no use, the pain was just too much to bear.
Kibo came over and picked him up while giggling under his breath.
"Shut up! It's not funny!" Naruto looked around to see Hinata hiding behind Neji. After winning his match, he came over to check on Hinata.
Naruto noticed her face bright red, and for some reason, she was unwilling to look him in the eyes.
"She...SHE SAW!" Naruto cried internally,
"Damn that SASUKE!" Naruto was seconds away from using his Kyubigan. That was until Kibo slapped him in the back of the head.
"Are you trying to tell everyone you're a Jinchūriki?!" Kibo scolded his little brother.
"No...But..." Naruto looked over at the crowd of girls around Sasuke, "It's not fair!"
The fan-girls gave Naruto nasty looks while saying stuff like, "How dare that blond-haired punk hurt Sasuke! It was a fluke! How could a hopeless loser like that ever compare to my Sasuke! What do you mean your Sasuke?!" This continued on quite a bit before the teachers broke them up.
Next, they were tested on their Nin-Jutsu. Most of the kids performed great, even Naruto got to shine when he displayed the Shadow Clone Technique.
Iruka was particularly impressed. Naruto still liked Iruka, but it was more like a big brother than a parent-like relationship now.
Naruto looked to see if Hinata was watching so he could gloat. She was, but she was still hiding behind Neji, so that made him pout.
Kibo informed him that Neji was her cousin and that made the blond Uzumaki cheer up a bit.
Gen-Jutsu testing phase came and Chinoike Clan got their time to shine.
Naruto and Kibo didn't have any practice with Gen-Jutsu and were barely able to perform the most basic one after being instructed.
They're pretty sure they received a failing grade.
Afterward, it came time for them to be assigned classrooms. Kibo, Karin, and Naruto ended up in the same class, along with Sumaru and Sai.
[1]Like before, Neji, Lee, and Tenten ended up in the same second-year classroom.
The classrooms in the Academy were large and had high ceilings. The construction was based on a theory that larger classrooms lead to expansive education. Even to the blackboard itself stretched out almost the entirety of the front wall.
In front of the blackboard was a podium perfectly suited for teaching. It was situated far from the students' desks and put in a position so that the teacher could view the whole classroom.
Naruto sat next to Hinata and made her blush while stuttering out, "G.G.G...Good morn...g...ouch!"
Hinata bit her tongue again.
Now that Naruto knew that she did this because she was shy, he thought it was cute.
However, this is young prankster Naruto that we're talking about, he couldn't resist not teasing her as he placed his hand on her shoulder and said, "Good morning to you too Hinata."
Naruto chuckled when he saw that her face was so red, steam could be seen rising from her cheeks.
Kibo sat between Naruto and Karin. Next came, Sasuke, Sakura, and Ino.
Iruka came in and sat his papers down, after roll call class officially began.
The first lesson was rather simple, it was just like any other class on Earth, but most of it was general education like math, language, and science expressed in Ninja formatting.
When Naruto was called on, his intelligence surprised a lot of people. But not Iruka as he had helped tutor Naruto on numerous occasions. He was so happy when he heard someone adopted him, that he actually cried.
After class Naruto waved goodbye to Hinata and his new friends, Choji and Shikamaru.
Naruto then scowled at Sasuke.
In response, Sasuke scowled back before the two parted ways with 'HMPH!' and went home.
Kibo noticed that some girls were staring at him with interest in their eyes. Karin then wrapped her arm around Kibo's and gave them an evil glare over her shoulder.
The girls, remembering how badly the other Kunoichis were beaten, ran away, well, like terrified little girls.
Kibo didn't mind the possessive attitude Kairn was giving off. He found having a fan club annoying, and if her actions kept one from forming, Kibo was all too grateful to her for it.
Later that night, Kibo saw Naruto wailing away on a pillow that had been drawn on and dressed to look like Sasuke. The blond Ninja was punching and kicking at the homemade dummy, all the while yelling, "DIE SASUKE!"
Kibo had just stopped by his room to see if he was alright. After seeing Naruto punch and kick a pillow for a few seconds, he just kept walking.
"I should probably get him a Tai-Jutsu trainer! But who do I pick?" Kibo ran through the memories of the series. When he finally had an Idea, Kibo tapped his hand against his head and said, "Why didn't I think of this earlier! Okay, tomorrow I'll ask the Hokage!"
