Soul Farming

Yasahrio went to Solaire next and talked to him.

"Ah, hello! You don't look Hollow, far from it! I am Solaire of Astora, an adherent of the Lord of Sunlight. Now that I am Undead, I have come to this great land, the birthplace of Lord Gwyn, to seek my very own sun!"

Yasahrio smiled at Solaire when he said that.

"Do you find that strange? Well, you should! No need to hide your reaction. I get that look all the time! Hah hah hah!"

"I am Yasahiro, and I hope you find the sun you are looking for."

"Oh, I have a proposition, if you have a moment."

"I am listening."

"The way I see it, our fates appear to be intertwined. In a land brimming with Hollows, could that really be mere chance? So, what do you say? Why not help one another on this lonely journey?"

"That would be great, I accept you offer."

"This pleases me greatly! Well then, take this. We are amidst strange beings, in a strange land. The flow of time itself is convoluted; with heroes centuries old phasing in and out. The very fabric wavers, and relations shift and obscure. There's no telling how much longer your world and mine will remain in contact. But, use this, to summon one another as spirits, cross the gaps between the worlds, and engage in jolly co-operation! Of course, we are not the only ones engaged in this. But I am a warrior of the sun! Spot my summon signature easily by its brilliant aura. If you miss it, you must be blind! Hah hah hah!"

"I will summon you whenever I need your assistance. If you find yourself in need of assistance as well, don't hesitate and summon me right away."

"Hah hah hah! I look forward to it."

Yasahiro then went to the bridge but stopped. He didn't want to be burned to dead so soon after the incident with the last boss, so he decided to test something else instead. He used the Battle Axe on the door that leads to lower undead burg and discovered that doors can be broken.

It took an hours for him to break open the door after which he went down the ladder. He then unlocked the shortcut and returned to the bonfire. He then returned to Konoha and spent the next week there.

He studied the trigger mechanism from the light cross bow and sent his father the designs. He clammed it to be his own invention and his father used that trigger mechanism design on every crossbow from them on. Incorporating it into the crossbow allowed for better accuracy and ease of aiming.

Sales of the crossbow skyrocketed after that and this made them rich. Thanks to that now Yasahiro and his father is able to make more expensive things such as giant crossbows.

The best prototype so far is the Three Bow Bed Crossbow which has a draw weight of 1200 kg and draw length of 45 inches which is almost 115 cm. A special pully system was need to pull the string and the trigger was also heavily reinforced. That thing was practically a siege weapon.

The ammunition for that thing are practically spears with feathers attached. And the inventory also classified them as spears so they probably could be upgraded through Andre.

Other then that Yasahiro tested how leveling stats effect him. And he was disappointed with the results.

Leveling Strength and Dexterity resulted in nothing more then increased muscle strength and steadier hands. Its good that his aim improved but it was already good enough, and strength is ok but something like a pully system works better when it comes to loading the crossbows.

Since Strength, Dexterity, Resistance, and Vitality are not working like Yasahiro wanted; He decided to give sorcery a try. He saved the Griggs of Vinheim by climbing the houses and then shooting arrow from the roof at the dogs.

Yasahiro made a few important discoveries while trying out sorcery.

1st, Intelligence increases the brain's processing power. This allows Yasahiro to make better decisions faster.

2nd, Attunement increases the brain's memory capacity. This allows Yasahiro to remember more information clearly.

3rd, Spells use souls to be cast, for example a soul arrow costs 10 souls per use. This was the biggest discovery of all considering its game changing effects.

Yasahiro invested all the souls he gathered so far to level up is Intelligence and Attunement. He saw great potential in sorcery so he spent next month farming souls to buy all the spells he had available.

1 month later Yasahiro bought all the spells and rings available to him. His Intelligence and Attunement stats are now 30. But during the testing he found the spells lacking in many aspects. So he talked to Griggs about it.

"Is it possible to make the spells travel fasted and farther?"

"Yes, it is possible. However the cost of each cast might increase."

"Can you teach me how to do it? I will give you 10,000 souls in exchange."

"That is a very generous offer. Ok, I will teach you."

Griggs then taught him how to customize spells to a certain extent.

"Can you create a spell that can increase my movement speed?"

"No, I only know this much. But master Logan will surely be able to create such spells."

Yasahiro wasn't confident about his ability to defeat any of the bosses yet. So he decided to farm souls and level up both his sorcery stats to 50.
