16 Time For War. Part 2

Ok so I just finished writing this CHP, I will let you guys decide but, I like the chp more in Logans perspective, it was easier for me to write big I'll try whatever you guys want. Remember I have nothing to base this off of so I don't know.

Also I say this later but this is not gonna be a sport fic it will be his life around the game of football, so most of the time the football games will be skipped with time skips.

Announcer POV.

*BOOM*

The ball flys through the air heading towards the Outlaws receiver Josh Miller.

"Josh Miller, Catches the ball inside of the end zone, he has taken a knee."

The offense and defense of both teams starts to head out onto the field.

Logan, is now jogging to his teams huddle, everyone in the stands is anticipating what is about to happen.

Logan gets to his huddle and after a couple of seconds his team breaks the huddle and starts to line up.

Josh and 2 other receivers are lined up on the left side, Spencer James is lined up opposite Josh miller.

Logan gets behind his center waiting for the snap.

In the stands everyone is silent waiting for the first play of the game.

"Ready, GO!" Logan yells, as soon as he says this it's like a Gun went off and bodies start hitting bodies.

Logan is on the move, he takes a couple of steps back, he frantically tries to find an open receiver but the eagle's defense seems to have a lock on all receivers.

"Logan is searching Desperately trying to find a receiver."

The pocket starts to collapse, without wasting another second Logan tucks the ball and starts to run upfield.

"Logan, after finding no open receiver, starts to scramble out of the pocket, he jukes left and barely dodges an eagles defender, Logan Changes direction and starts to turn on the jets. One man to beat, Logan stiffs arms the last defender, and strolls into the endzone for the first score of the game."

*the roaring of the fans.*

"OUTLAWS TOUCHDOWN!!!"

(ok I just finished writing the announcer POV and I have to say I like it better in Logans perspective. It was a lot easier to write, so I will mostly be doing Logans perspective.)

Logan's POV.

"Ready, GO!" I yell.

The ball is snapped and I catch it and take a couple of steps back, I quickly start to way my options to see if I have an open receiver after going through everyone I quickly notice that no one is open, I start to roll of of the pocket because the pocket is starting to crash, I start to run to left and one of the defenders runs at me and I dodge left and he misses his tackle.

I turn up field and I can already tell I will be able to score because of my speed. There is only one defender in my way I start sprinting full speed.

15 yards away from the endzone, he gets close enough for me to stiff arm him and, I hit him as hard as I can with my right hand and he gets pushed back, I start to slow down and jog into the endzone, once I do I then come back to my senses and start to hear the roaring of the fans.

I see Josh running towards me so when he gets close enough we both jump at each other bumping each other mid air.

"Nice shit, they got us locked on our routes, but they can't guard everything we got." Josh says.

"Yep, they will start to watch me and forget about you." I say.

I see Matt and a couple of the other linemen jogging toward me.

"LETS GO BABY, BET THEY SCARED NOW." Matt says with a gleam in his eye.

'This Kid, has a lot of weapons.' Jay thinks to himself.

'If only my QB had an arm like him and was as fast as him we could've won state.' Can thinks to himself.

'I didn't know he was that fast. But I'm confused was that a 2-pointer or a 3-pointer?' Haley thinks to herself.

I make it back to the sidelines with Matt and Josh.

"Good job, but be ready they are gonna be coming for blood now. Keep your head up." Coach Gilbert says slapping my helmet.

[Outlaws 7, Eagles 0.]

We kick to the eagles Spencer is back to receive.

He catches the ball at the 1-yard line so he has to run out, he makes it to the 28-yard line before being brought down.

It was a quick 4 and out, our defense was able to hold them.

(In American football you have 4 downs to get a first down or score, so the term 4 and out means that after the 4 plays they didn't get a first down or score.)

They punt to a waiting Josh, he calls for a fair catch and we now have the ball at the opposite 40-yard line.

I and the rest of the offense jog out to the field and get in a huddle.

As we were Jogging past the Eagle's defense I hear Spencer say something.

"You got lucky, it won't happen again." I hear him say.

I ignore him and get in a huddle with the boys.

"Alright boys good job last time, there coming for us now so be ready. Josh I want you to run a stop and go, I'm gonna do exactly what I did last play and scramble, Spencer is hot-headed right now so he will take the bait and you will be wide open, easy Pickens baby." I say.

"Alright sounds good, throw it and I will catch it." Josh responds.

"Matt let your guy through so I will have an excuse to leave the pocket." I say.

"You sure?" he asks.

"Yea, I'm to fast he won't touch me."

"Alright let's try it." he says.

We get into position.

Everything starts to blur around me and I can only see the field, I can't hear anything else other than my heartbeat and the breaths of the linemen.

"Ready, GO!" I yell.

The ball reaches my hands and I get ready to take off and just like we planned Matt lets his guy by him and I start to run, I get out of the pocket and act like I will run again, Spencer sees this and starts to run at me.

"Got ya." I say.

I plant my foot and turn my hips and throw a lob that Josh catches perfectly in stride.

But as this was happening I was unaware that Spencer wasn't slowing down.

I notice him the last second and quickly dodge to the side.

He misses, I see Josh is now in the end zone and the stands start to go crazy.

"Maybe next time." I say while looking at Spencer.

A.N Also I want everyone to know that the football games won't be written about very much it will mostly be about his life around football.

So don't worry we won't have to dread these chapters XD.

After writing I have to say Its a lot easier to write the game in his POV.
