"Maybe next time." I say while staring down at Spencer, while he is on the ground.

He jumps up and gets in my face, Helmet against helmet.

Just wait, it won't happen again." He says, while grabbing my jersey.

I push him he falls to the ground and he jumps back up starts throwing punches.

I dodge his first punch then I grab him and lift him in the air and slam him on his back.

I get in his face while he is on the ground and say.

"We have a whole game left, I am gonna keep throwing it your way and your not gonna be able to do sh*t best be ready to be nothing other than a speed bump." I say.

Before I could do anything else I felt people grabbing me and pulling me away.

"Logan you good?" Matt asks while pulling me away.

"Yea he thought he could push me around." I say starting to walk back to our side of the field.

I hear Spencer yelling something so I turn around and bring my finger to my mouth shushing him.

He tries to run at me but his coach gets in his way and holds him back.

At that point my surroundings start to come back to me and I hear the roar of the fans and I hear the song "All I Do Is Win" by DJ Khaled.

I see coach walking towards me he doesn't look to happy.

He brings the clip bored in front of his mouth so no one can see what he says.

"You good?" He asked.

"Perfect." I respond.

"Nice, keep it up." He says as he walks past me.

I start to chuckle.

I start to jog in front of the student section, once I am in front I look at them and flex, they start to go crazy.

I was turning around when my eyes met my moms, and boy did chills run through my body when I saw her glaring at me.

5 minutes prior.

Haley POV.

Logan gets the ball runs from a big guy trying to get him, throws the ball to Josh who then runs into the end zone untouched.

Not looking at Logan I start to talk to his mom.

"Mrs. Barret, has Logan always been good at sports?" I ask.

She looks at me and smiles.

"Haley please call me Rose, and yes he has always been good at whatever he does." She says with a smile.

I was about to ask another question but all of a sudden grandpa Jay stands up and yells at the ref, then points in a direction.

Me along with pretty much everyone in the stands who were celebrating the touchdown all looked to where he was pointing.

I see Logan and someone on the other team face to face.

"LOGAN, WALK AWAY!!" Rose yells right beside me.

The players start to jog toward Logan and the other player, but all of a sudden the other player grabs Logan's jersey.

"LOGAN, DON'T!" Rose yells. But it was to late all of a sudden Logan shoves the other player to the ground.

People around us start to cheer, especially the student section.

Both teams start to run toward Logan and the other player.

The player that Logan pushed to the ground jumps up and swings at Logan who then dodges, then grabs the other player by the legs lifts him up then slams him into the ground.

Before anything else could happen both teams got there and started pulling them off of each other.

Matt was carrying Logan away.

He puts Logan down, I can hear the other player yelling at Logan.

But all he does is turns around and brings his finger in front of his helmet shushing him.

"YEAAAAA, THIS IS WHAT I HAVE MISSED!!!!" Cam screams.

Rose, mom, and I glare at him.

"S-Sorry." he says sitting back down.

Mitch rubs his back.

I look at Granpa Jay and he actually has a smirk on his face a real smirk.

I look back at Rose and see she is Glaring at Logan who is now flexing in front of the student section.

'Wow! I wish I had a better view.' I think to myself.

Logan Pov.

I walk back to the boys.

"Alright, lets run them into the ground," I say.

Time.

1rst quarter 8 minutes left.

{BUT THAT'S NOT ALL, JOSH MILLER IS NOW HOLDING THE NATIONAL RECORD OF SINGLE-GAME RECEIVING YARDS, WHICH WAS PREVIOUSLY HELD BY KRAIG PRUETT WITH A TOTAL OF 456 YARDS, THE NEW RECORD IS 658 YARDS.}

(just a little context for those who are not familiar with American Football, these numbers are unimaginable for high schoolers, the two names of the previous first-place holders are both the real holders of the first place records.)

Logan POV.

The game just ended with a score of Outlaws-90:Eagles-6. The fans start to rush the field, I got a lot of "good job" "keep it up" "good game".

I look up and see Haley walking around looking for someone, I sneak behind her then grab her from behind and lift her and spin her around.

She looks up but does not look happy.

"Logan, you could have mentioned that I was meeting your mom, I wasn't ready what if she didn't like me..." she keeps going on while I am in deep thought.

'Is it just me or our they just alike.' I think to myself.

Haley is still going off in front of me.

'Ahhh screw it.'

I put my hand on her cheek lean down and kiss her.

After a couple of second I pull away.

"Y-Your forgiven." Haley says.

*COUGH*

We look over and see my mom and Haleys family starring at us.

Haley puts her head on my chest facing away from them.

"Your sweaty." she says.

I chuckle, I look back at her family.

What surprised me was Claire and Mr. D, did not look mad. They were just smiling.

"HALEY AND LOGAN, SITTING IN A TRE-" before Luke could finish singing, Claire put her hand over Luke's mouth.

"W-Well umm, would you guys like to come to our house? I started a casserole before I left." Mom asked.

Haley looks at her mom and has a pleading look.

Claire looks at everyone and they nod.

"We would love to," Claire says.

"Alright, Logan hurry up and go change so we can go," Mom says.

"I will drive Haley, they can follow you home." I say.

"Alright that works." mom says.

I look at Haley.

"My car is right behind the locker room I will be done in like 5 minutes."

[Skip to 2 minutes before Logan and Haley arrive home.]

"You live around here? This is way out of my family's price range." Haley says.

I chuckle.

I turn down a gated drive way and soon we see the house.

"L-Logan, this is y-your house?" she asks.

"It's too big." She says.

[skip to after dinner.]

"Wanna watch a movie before you go?" I ask.

She nods.

I grab her hand and lead her to the living room.

We start a movie, and after a while Haley falls asleep in my arms, I grab a blanket and throw it over us, and after a while, I fall asleep as well.

Claire Pov.

"It was great getting to know you." I say to Rose.

"Yes it really was. Logan was right your family is amazing."

"Where is Haley and Logan?" I ask.

"Well Logan said they were gonna watch a movie so more than likely they are in the living room. Follow me." Rose says.

'At first I was nervous about Haley being with a boy, but now that I have met his wonderful mother, I feel relieved that, she met him.' I think to myself.

We arrive in the living room and I see that Logan and Haley are asleep on the couch, cuddling together.

"Gross" Luke says.

"She can stay the night," Rose whispers.

"A-Are you sure?" I ask.

"Yea, Logan will bring her back in the morning." Rose says.

I look back at Haley, and a warm smile comes on my face.

"Ok, lets go."
