*RUUMBLE*

The moment Yami took hold of the sword, several mountains in the background abruptly vanished from sight.

"HAHAHAHAHA!! THIS IS SO FUUN!!"

Zipping through the air and performing several barrel rolls, laughter echoed out as Grim continued evading the black holes and launched ranged attacks of his own.

"GIVE UP!!" Lucifero roared his mere presence reducing the surrounding mountains to dust.

"HELL NO!!" Bearing the full brunt of the increased gravity, Grim felt like he had truly met someone who he could test himself against.

-Gleam

Wielding the storm blade, light flashed through his eyes. Gathering a large amount of mana around himself, the blade roared to life as dark coloured wind and lightning began to swirl around it.

"TAAAKE THISSSSS!!"

Replicating the attack he used to kill Megicula and blow the roof off the Spade castle, he slashed downwards and brought a terrifying dark wind tornado down with him.

-SLASH!

Strong enough to rip uproot some of the smaller mountains, the moment the attack closed in on Lucifero, some sort of force suddenly blocked it from moving any further.

'What!'

"As if such a spell could ever reach me."

*SWOOSH!!*

Swinging his arm out, Grim's eyes went wide as a gravity induced shockwave swept through the area destroying the tornado and hitting him square in the chest.

-BANG

"Kyaaah!!"

Blown back by the shockwave, Lucifero's presence warped behind him.

"Shi-

-BANG!!

"ARGHHHH!!"

Hit by another one of his famous punches, he was sent flying through the air.

-BANG!!

-BANG!!

-BANG!!

Crashing through a series of standing mountains, the distance he travelled was quite amazing.

-BANG!!

Crashing through another mountain and exiting out from the other end, he finally came to a stop once he hit the ground.

"Haaah." He sighed laying deep in a pit and filling his lungs with air.

His [Warcloud Armour] had been destroyed, his attacks were ineffective, and he had just been manhandled without being able to resist...

But goddammit this was fun!

"Heh." He grinned looking up at the floating Lucifero.

Seeing that damned smile, Lucifero mercilessly focused his magic down onto him.

-BANG!!

As if being trampled by an elephant, the pressure crushed his body. It was so intense that it felt like his skin might burst and his bones might crack.

"GAAHAHAHAHAHA!!" He laughed out in pain.

Raising his middle finger, he grinned and defiantly said-

"You hit like a bitch."

*WARP*

Enraged that someone he considered a mere insect dared to humiliate him like this, he appeared in front of him and raised his foot up high.

"DIEEE!"

*SWOOSH!!*

*Crack* *Crack* *Crack*

Barely managing to roll out of the way in time, cracks spread throughout the ground. Ignoring this, the grin on Grim's face suddenly widened.

'Gotcha you dumb fuck!'

-SWOOSH!!

Suddenly switching from [Breath of the Storm] to [Breath of the Beast], the moment he rolled out of the way one of the beast swords lashed out.

Cutting through the gravity, he wanted to at least land one blow.

*FWOOSH!!*

Seeing the sword and pulling back in time, the sword missed its intended target and hit nothing but empty air.

At least that's what he thought.

Frowning, Lucifero suddenly felt a small sting on his face.

Touching the area, something warm and runny ran down his fingers. Bring his hand out in front him, it took a second for him to realize that what he was staring at was his own blood.

"Tch."

Grim kissed his teeth and switching back to [Breath of the Storm], he put some distance between the two.

'All of that for a mere drop of blood.'

Looking at the scratch on Lucifero's face, he couldn't help but feel slightly disappointed with himself.

"Y-YOU-

But did Lucifero feel the same way?

"YOU FILTHY FUCKING BRAT!!"

*FWOOOM!!*

Not giving him enough time to think, Lucifero's hand appeared centimetres away from his face.

[DARK WINGS!!]

Compressing the wind beneath his feet, his body rocketed into to sky at an unprecedented speed.

-BOOOM!!

Narrowly dodging Lucifero's grab, the air where he was just standing exploded as the gravity radiating off of Lucifero intensified crushing everything in the area and nearly dragged him down.

'Did I piss him off?'

"TO HARM MY BODY... HOW DARE YOU!!"

"Urgh!"

Feeling the pull of gravity, Grim thrust his hand out.

[Breath of Storm: Fifth Form - Storm Cage]

With his grimoire open next to him, black coloured wind swirled around Lucifero's figure and imprisoned him in a cage of wind and lightning.

*BOOOM!!*

Knowing that it wouldn't be enough to trap him for too long, Grim shot into the distance hoping to catch his breath long enough to switch to [Breath of the Kitsune] and bring their battle to the next level.

"GRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIM!!!"

-RUMBLE!!

An earth shattering roar sounded out as Lucifero shattered space and broke out of the [Storm Cage] in less than a second.

-BOOM!!

Stomping down hard and launching himself into the air. The earth behind him cratered as he quickly caught up to Grim.

"GRIMMMMMM!!" He roared again, rage filling his heart.

It was all his fault! He was the cause of all of this!

He stopped his ascension through Qilphoth.

Distracted him long enough to get hit by that anti-magic slash.

And now he brazenly marked his body!

Death wasn't enough!

He needed to SUFFER!

DESPAIR!

REGRET!

He wouldn't be satisfied until Grim experienced the worst type of pain known to man.

But unknown to him, Grim actually wanted nothing else. Even if this was only 50% of his full power, it was enough to toy with the form he had used to kill Megicula. A Supreme Devil. Such strength... Grim wanted to draw out even more of it.

'Man.' He smiled seeing Lucifero catching up.

'THIS GUY IS SUCH A RIOT!!'

Grinning and pushing his speed to its utmost limits, he shot towards the horizon and headed back to the battlefield for a stage change.
