Chapter 116 - No Wasting Any Second!

The Glacial Mygalomorph's shockwave of shivery mist is one of its skills that prevents an individual perceiving of sight along with its troublesome wonder which is preventing the normal flow of mana. It was really a pain in the rear even in the game especially if you're playing as a mage class. But now that it's finally gone. It was time for this damn spider to experience the pain of trouble as well.

Luna and Astra. Those two came an immediate response and rush towards the place where me and this spider will crash, intercepting us. Arrived, both of them strongly cleaved their blades and fired their projectiles synchronized.

I used the spider's large body and kicked it to propel myself out of the duo's range. The spider that was left alone midair was hit by devastating slash-projectile attack from the tandem.

"Nice response both of you, guys," I complimented as I swing my way using the hook to land safety. Man, grappling really is the best. "We'll beat it and give it no time to recover. Let's go!"

The Glacial Mygalomorph crashed to the ice wall and descended sharply. It was left petrified from the fall as well as Luna's sword as an addition.

Damage Increased II

"Hm—?!" Honk! Suddenly, a sudden surge of slight strength surge across my body as the sound of horn echoes about. This is... I see. "Now's the time, everyone!"

"You guys do your thing," Lara declares, holding her weapon of class—a Horn. "I'll handle support."

I forgot we had a bard here—a Support-type Class. Moreover, her empowerment was for offensive focus. It was truly perfect for this moment.

"I'm feeling more powerful!" Sprinting, Astra plunge towards the spider and brandished her blade. Behind her was Luna following suit. "Let's go, Luna!"

"Behind you." Luna responded. Once in range, she took her stance. "Haap~!"

Lastly, I hurried and came to join them. The Glacial Mygalomorph was stunned. It was the perfect time to use that. On the other side, as the three of us, took our stance, we—

"Haap~!" I shouted, then activated.

My overall strength dramatically increased. My mana completely diminished. With my Impermanent force and the Serpent's Edge strength beyond the spider's capability, I rapidly bombarded the spider with a flurry of slashes outside of normal means.

"Kiek?!!!" The Glacial Mygalomorph cried in agony. Its Health runs down just as it was being sliced upon by the three of us.

"Amazing..." Lara mumbled, wholly dumbfounded. "No wonder Grandpa was so terrified of him. He was a monster..."

"Sai, you..." And so was Lemuen. Her eyes were glittering. As if, she was looking at an idol. Until she realized, she shook her head. "Mhm! I got to help also...!"

I kept slicing. So, does Luna and Astra.

And to further add to the misery, The range-type classes followed suit. Rain of energized bullets as well as explosion of petals scatters about. There were not any chances of rest. Only assault.

"We can finally use our magic," Lemuen informed. "We'll inject it with damage in the distance!"

But the Glacial Mygalomorph, after all, was a Boss. Despite the damages and paralysis, it was still able to rise little by little.

"Damn it. Not enough, huh..." I mused. It can't be helped. Being greedy here won't do us any good.

Or so I thought.

Just as the Glacial Mygalomorph was about to rise, it was then engulfed with a series of burnished darkness. As if, it was being chained upon.

"Wha—?! What is this?" Shortly, the chained-like form of darkness tightens, then flicked inside the spider's body as if its spiritual form has been assaulted. Such metaphysical display made the spider fall into its limbs, left disabled. "Master, this is...?"

"Don't stop. Just keep attacking!" I commanded. "You probably already know it. Such extravagant as well as being unique, there was only one person who possessed such power like that."

"Kneel." Glister of black encircles her zone. Akari, revealing a new stripe of power has her arm raised as to shackle her opponent. "I won't let you get a move until Aruji-sama said so...!"

"K-Kiek~!" The Glacial Mygalomorph starts its wailing. It started panicking now. It's now feeling on what it feels like to see death coming your life. A pity.

"Haap~!" His move plunged the body of the spider in discipline. Mikael, a contender had joined the fray. With his terrified face, he offered a flurry of normal slashes built with self-control. "Eek—?! Why does my life always have bad things in it...!"

"Alright! Everything's working!" Lara announced. Did you just...?! No. We're still halfway! Don't decide the outcome yet! That's a red— "If we keep this up, we..."

"Not yet!" I interjected. "Don't let your guard—"

The usual response. When in deep trouble, and you're at your wit's end, desperation arises. Even this monster was no exception.

"Wha—?! This damn spider...!" Hail of icicles pumped out of the spider's body that starts storming above us as Astra swore in annoyance. "Dammit!"

"Tsk!" Luna clicked, likewise, aggravated. "It's not enough—?!"

"U-Ugh!" The skill's had passed, and so does my limit. I fell down my knees as ridiculous exhaustion assaulted my body. What a blunder...

"Master—?! Guh!" Luna tried for a reach but was obtruded, fending the hail of icicles. Worst of it all, the Glacial Mygalomorph starts shaking once again. "Oh no!"

Shit! She's in panic. "Luna! Get out of the way!"

"Luna! Get out of there!" No choice, Luna voided out of the spider's range. Shortly, the spider sends another devastating shockwave.

"Guh—?!" I was ready to take the shockwave fully. But to my surprised, I was pulled-back by a hook. I was seeing wave of chilling smoke followed below my feet before it engulfed the whole place fully once again.

Astra: ⟨⟨Voiding⟩⟩

Mikael: ⟨⟨Quick Disengage⟩⟩

"Ugh—?!" The two immediately withdraw but still was blasted away by the raging wave. The pain in the rear haze aside, our formation was once again in shambles.

"You alright?" The girl who pulled me away safety from the wave, it was Seia. Oh, she's...

"You're finally talking to me, huh..." I slowly rose into the floor. Seia to my response, blushes. "You've been ignoring me for the past days, you know? What gives?"

"...I'm sorry." Seia apologized. She looks forlorn. But well, as much as I want to settle this peacefully, we still have something needed prioritizing.

"Let's talk about this later—hm?!" I swift my sword and diced the icicle coming at us in an instant. It surprised me but goodness, I was glad I quickly reacted. "Let's get ready."

"Y-You're kidding..." Sweat nervously drops from Seia's face. Tensed. "We had to dodge and fend its attacks with almost to no vision? Seriously..."

"Our restless preparation was for this." I took a bottle of Mana Potion as I said so. "Unfortunately for you, that Boss was still a toddler compared to rest of Bosses we'll be fighting."

What I said was no exaggeration. After all, Stella's influence wasn't limited to only this planet. More of a reason that this world was an amalgamation of all MODs as well.

"Anyway, let's not waste any more time." I added. "Let's go and regroup with the others quickly. It'll be the worst if one of us were forced to fend the spider itself alongside its icicle attacks."

"Good idea. I saw Akari and the others off the high ground. Let's go." I had Seia guide me where I followed with. Damn, truth to be told, I still have the Hawksight Potion Buff with me still active. But the spider's skill won't let me its vision for some reason, which in turn became useless.

Lily, I hope you're ready at moment's notice. You're the core of this fight. Make sure you're well hidden.

"Hm, Ah, Aruji-sama!" Grappling our way towards high ground, it didn't take us long enough to find Akari, Lemuen, and Lara waiting in wary. I'm glad that damn spider hasn't attacked them yet.

If not, that means...

"Seia, everyone, I'll be going on ahead." I informed.

"Wait! Where are you going?" Seia replied. "And you even said to regroup..."

"I'll go help Luna and the others." I replied. "Most likely, that damn spider would target those guys. I want you to guys to get ready on short notice. Capisce?"

Astra, Luna, Mikael, and I. I'm sure with the four of us, we can keep the Glacial Mygalomorph busy. During that time, Lily, I hope you're ready...

"Wait! What about your—" Seia.

"Alright," I'll be right back." I bid and jumped down the high ground. The pain, compared to before where I passed out became lighter. Was it the influence of our increased stats, I wonder? Hm, I'll just think about this later.

Somewhere over the bridge. Astra and Mikael, shoulder to shoulder, release their flurry of attacks as they fend against the hail of icicles. Both of them got bruises on their end.

Astra: ⟨⟨Iaijutsu⟩⟩ + ⟨⟨Flick⟩⟩

"—Oh?!" Once of the icicles manage to pass Mikael and was about to pierce him but thankfully was darted by Astra. "T-Thanks—"

"Thank me later. We still have to get out of this pinch." Astra interjected, and begin a series of rapid slashes. One thing unfortunately, one of icicles passed within her round of slashes. "Shit...?!"

But in a flash of second, a flickered blue, and the icicle was cut in two.

"Everyone. I finally found you." Emerged from the dense haze, Luna arrives, albeit looking awfully worried. "Did you guys see Master?"

"Oh, he was near the shockwave, right? Unfortunately, no." Astra shook her head. "Well, its Sai we're talking about. I'm sure he'll be fine."

"Well, yeah. But still..." Luna started looking more concerned. "Ugh, I'm worried—hm?!"

"Luna!" Something was approaching them at ridiculous speed. It was even faster than before. It felt like it was propelled to them. To boot it up, their sight was only near to themselves. They can only trust they're instinct, and the thing they felt, was dreadful than before.

Clank!

"Guh—?!" Both Luna and Astra acted on their instinct, that is, to defend with all their strength. The impact forced them to groan as the Glacial Mygalomorph collided to their blades.

"Luna! Astra!" Mikael shouted, completely alarmed. He wasn't able to locate the enemy. If he's ever the one who got plunged instead, it'll surely be his last.

The collision sent a shock into their whole body that made the two almost lost consciousness. It was that severe.

Before the Glacial Mygalomorph managed to dominate the girls, someone blown it away instantly. Shortly then came the culprit of the knocking.

"Master!" Luna cheered in delight.

"You... Sigh, I can't with you..." Astra sneered. "You're just in time dumbass."

"Really? I'm glad." Sai replied, then took a deep breath. "Alright, it's 1v4. How about now, you damn spider."
