The Truth Of It All...

The boy had created a enegry ball capable of travelling through the air. The boy was nothing short of a prodigy, they thought as they looked in aw. What had happened infront of them was still like a blur.

Did it truly happen. Was this reality or were they just late for work and this was all a dream? All of their thoughts were shattered once James said "I won, So where do I get signed up for the academy?"

"Yo..you have to wa..wait for others to finish then you will be initiated in...into the academy." One of the guards said, James came down from the fighting ring and stood in a corner. For the rest of the matches he didn't even speak and quietly performed his breathing technique accumulating world enegry.

Rest of the matches were boring and predictable as always. But the shock of the match James played in still kept people on their egde, maybe another one of them would turn out to be a secret prodigy. Who knows? Now no one was sure.

After all the matches were done and the winners were decided, they finally took them to the inside hall of the academy. There they were once again greeted by principal finally getting know his name "Now we have meet before, but you all still don't know my name. So let me formally introduce myself. My name is David Longhook. I'm Longhook family the family running this institution since ancient times.

I'm the current principal of this academy and before me there was my father Leon Longhook. And I David Longhook son of Leon Longhook welcome you all to the Magical Academy Of Decca."

The old man snatched a glance at James. Taking his time to analyze him, the boy didn't seem very special to him, but there was this slight scent in the air. It was like his nose had caught glance of something above him, something more powerful, it was like the feeling of being watched by a tiger at its weakened state.

Not as strong but still as blood thirsty and sinister. The old man stopped worrying about such things and went to James directly himself as he heard some things about him. "young man, what is your name my I ask?" "James sir." "Oh, no no no don't call me sir. Just call me Grandpa David or anything that is comfortable for you." "Sure, grandpa David."

"So I heard you created an enegry ball that can travel through air? Could you elaborate on that?" The old man said looking intently which was hard to notice as his eyes seemed shut at all times. "Well, first of it wasn't really an enegry ball per say" he said with an akward smile.

"What do you mean?" "Well, enegry balls are constructs of different elements and dark enegry being combined together and then compressed into the hand to create an explosion in the hand which looks non lethal but is one of the most deadliest hand to hand fighting technique's. Now, typically while you cannot add light enegry to the mixture of dark enegry and elemental enegry or dark enegry general, I figured out a way to do so."

"And how so may I ask?" The old man looked at the boy more surprised than he had ever been. A child had discovered a way to mix light and dark enegry? Perhaps he would be more powerful than him... But that was just an assumption.

"I'd love to grandpa David. But not infront of so many people" "oh but of course" David cursed himself inside forgetting the people around them. Such valuable information could not be given to anyone so easily. It needs to be kept under wraps. David took James away from the main hall and they walked to his office.

Upon entering David closed the doors, made sure to put a sealing and concealing magic upon the room and also activated his top class magic disruption machine ensuring no one would be able to eves drop on them. It was too dangerous of an information to be leaked. And James was now one of the most important people of the whole country.

"Okay James. Do not worry I have taken proper precautions so that this information does not get leaked. Do not fret of also losing the information with me, I don't care about more status and power if you still have doubts we can create a magic pact so that I will permanently not be able to speak or what you say about this now"

James nodded to his proposal "I think I'd like that, please do understand this information I'm about to tell you is very very powerful and could change the magic world forever." "But of course, I do. Lets get to it then" they both waved their hands in the air and suddenly a magical seal appeared Infront.

It was a round a round golden hue imitting seal, with the terms of the contract written on the magical flower embroidery. David signed the seal ensuring that James's discovery would be safe with him. Now they could truly start to talk on topic. "well when I was little I used to experiment with light and dark energy. At that point I had figured out a way to control enegry arts without it's dire consequences."

"Wait wait- WHAT?! You learned to use energy arts, without your physical body falling to demise? Could you elaborate because I'm having a hard time over here..." David said almost fainting to what he heard from the boy.

"So, the reason energy arts could only affect ones physical body of the physical realm was because the physical body was weaker than that of the spiritual one. Now we might think in order to strengthen the physical body we need to exercise and get stronger. But in reality we need to strengthen it both through physical and spiritual methods.

"In order to strengthen it through the spiritual method, to handle energy arts, we need to use all of the different elements and light energy to reinforce it. And besides that also gain strength and practice martial arts or any other form of fighting as you never know when you might need it as well but basic wait training will also do the trick of physical enhancement if that's what you're going for."

David looked at James with shock. How had no one ever thought of that before? It was so obvious yet so in the dark. It was like the area not seen, the area overlooked. Nonetheless even though how astonishingly simple it was to get rid of the side effect, no one had figured out.

He asked James to continue "So, as I was saying since I could use both energy and elemental arts, I decided to use them both together. And it just worked out somehow. All though enegry arts wasn't as strong as I first anticipated."

"Meaning?" "Well. Once I started using it more frequently, I learned that I couldn't create something out of nothing. In order to create something, something else needs to be well given. So, whenever we use energy arts we do use up our own physical body. But once that's not a factor energy arts truly just works as a binder of sorts binding all the elements including light and dark together. To create something even more powerful."

"And that is?" David asked with anticipation in his eyes. He had turned as red as a beetroot, truly he would have never thought that energy arts would be called a binder of the elements, which could possible indicate it was a binder of the universe..

David was so jumped in joy in his mind thinking of all the possibilities, yet also punched an imaginary wall because of the fright and anger truly it was one of the biggest discoveries of the century. This kid was going to be something, something bigger than their country, their continent possibly even their world...

David watched as James's mouth opened it, it clicked once in thirst maybe because of talking so much and he uttered "well..."
