Hunter Or Hunted

The early morning sun cast a soft, golden glow upon the dense foliage of the enchanted forest. A persistent mist hung in the air, giving the surroundings an eerie yet captivating ambiance. The cursed spirit hunter, Geto, had awakened with a singular purpose in mind: to confront the infamous cursed spirit that had been terrorizing the region.

With a sense of urgency, Geto swiftly gathered his camping equipment. His eyes, sharp and determined, focused on the trail of enormous pawprints left behind by the cursed spirit. These tracks, resembling the imprints of a giant wolf, were unmistakable. This creature was no ordinary cursed spirit; it was a legend, known for slaying even gods in its myth.

"Are you doing well?" Ian's voice echoed in Geto's mind, their telepathic connection establishing an unspoken link.

"Yup, I'm doing quite well," Geto replied, his thoughts transmitting seamlessly to Ian's. "Although I must admit, I was worried about facing a giant wolf cursed spirit with a reputation like this one."

Geto could sense Ian's concern, but he knew this confrontation was a necessary step in his journey to become stronger. "I'm theorizing that this cursed spirit has an ability that will help me face my future opponents if I manage to defeat and consume it."

As Geto followed the trail deeper into the forest, his keen senses led him to a clearing where the earth itself seemed to tremble. There, beneath the dappled shadows of ancient trees, lay the sleeping giant—a colossal wolf with pitch-black fur, standing a towering thirty feet tall.

Geto immediately assumed a defensive stance, summoning Zenyatta, a powerful cursed spirit by his side. In hushed tones, Zenyatta murmured, "Pass into the iris," channeling his energy discreetly to avoid waking the slumbering behemoth.

With great care, Geto began to draw upon his curse energy, gathering it silently to avoid alerting the wolf. He chanted incantations in a ritualistic cadence:

"Phase... paramita... pillars of light... reversals red..."

A red sphere of positive energy materialized, stirring the great wolf from its slumber. However, it remained in a state of drowsiness, allowing Geto to continue his incantation:

"Phase... twilight... The eyes of Prajna... lapse blue..."

This time, a blue orb of cursed energy took form, and the wolf began to stir further. It was awakening, but not quickly enough to react to Geto's actions.

As Geto completed his chanting with a final incantation:

"Nine ropes... Polarized light... Crow and Shomyo... The Gap between within and without..."

The spheres of energy merged into a mesmerizing purple light, and Geto's thumb and index finger pressed together, aimed directly at the approaching wolf.

"Maximum output: Hollow Purple!" Geto shouted, unleashing a devastating explosion of purple light that engulfed the surroundings. Trees were flattened, and the air filled with a swirling smoke, but Geto emerged from the explosion unscathed.

Through the dissipating smoke, Geto locked eyes with the massive wolf. Its red gaze pierced the haze, and it emitted a bellowing growl that blew away the remaining smoke, causing Geto to raise his arms for protection.

"Aaaaaaaaggggggh!" the giant wolf growled fiercely.

"So even that wasn't enough to kill you, hehehe," Geto chuckled, though the tension in the air was palpable. "But still, it took a massive amount of cursed energy for you to protect yourself, didn't it?"

The wolf responded with a menacing growl, clearly agitated by Geto's actions.

"Looks like your master's got you on a pretty short leash," Geto taunted, clapping his hands mockingly. "Come on, little puppy, I'll take you out for a walk."

The wolf's howls resonated with such intensity that the forest's winds grew erratic, a testament to its immense power.

"So, you're the strongest in the litter," Geto exclaimed, jumping up and down and beckoning the wolf to come closer. "Looks like we're gonna need a bigger leash. Come on."

Geto's bravado was follow up by his summoning of five cursed spirits behind him, all special grade in terms of power. The stage was set for an epic confrontation, where the outcome would remain uncertain until the last curse energy was spent and the forest echoed with the victor's roar.
