Waking up

(AN: mc might have sharingan now but it's not a mangekyou. Also the mc doesn't have any sharingan training so he won't be really using it for anything more than to slow down perception even more than kurami's chakra does and to copy enemy jutsu.)

Groaning I woke up and felt a stinging sensation on my chest and face. Hearing a voice I asked 'who's there?"

"It's me dear." Came kurami's sad voice.

"Am I back at the leaf?" I asked in confusion

"No your in your mind scape I can't see you and you can't see me but we can talk." She replied

"I see what happened?" I asked when memories of the fight came back to me. "Oh nevermind."

"Yes oh, you know how worried I was when I looked at your memories. What would I tell mito if you died." She yelled out but I could hear the worry and sadness in her tone. "What would I do?"

"I ahh I don't know dear but I can't stand by as one of you get hurt I just can't." I said sadly

"I know that's why I love you idiot but please no more fatal wounds. You know how much ckakra I used to heal you lungs and face." She exclaimed

Chuckling a little I asked "how long till I wake?"

"When I let you kakashi Jr." She said

Blinking I asked "kakashi Jr.?"

"Yes itachi gave you a spare sharingan." She replied as she sent me an overview of my body and the large scar on my chest and a scar going down the left side of my face.

"I see I will have to thank him and hit him now the kakashi wannabe jokes will never end." I spoke as I had a small smile on my face.

"Yup now once you get home I'll punish you for making me worry so much." She said in a teasing tone before I felt the connection cut and I started waking up.

Opening my eyes was met with the sight of trees wizzing past as I was being carried by some one. Groaning I asked "I'm up how long has it been?"

"Five days we're in the land of waterfalls right now." Came the voice of crow. "And thanks."

Just patting him on the shoulder I replied "you'd do the same in a heart beat. How'd the fight with the other missing nin go?"

"The other missing nin was kakuzu of takigkure. They killed him but lion was wounded and is still passed out from chakra exhaustion but looks like he'll wake up soon. The village was completely leveled and burned to the ground. Only one little girl survived and guess what?" He replied but at the end his voice was a little amused.

"Hmm?" I hummed in question as he motioned for me to look right. Doing so I widened my eyes as I watched dog carry a little girl no older than two in his arms. Chuckling I asked "oh planning to adopt instead?"

Looking at me he just nodded and responded "yup she won't stop clinging to me and she's grown on me."

Smirking behind my fox mask I spoke "haha youll get used to it I can't wait for shizune's reaction."

"Can you walk?" I heard the hokage ask

"Ya a little sore in the chest area but I'm good to fight." I responded as I hoped off crows back and next to weasel who was carrying lion. "Thanks for the new eye I owe you." I spoke as he looked at me

"How?" He asked

"Kurami told me." I responded only getting a nod from him. Before I punched his arm "that's for giving people more of a reason to call me kakashi Jr." I said as he looked at me.

Snorting dog announced "I'll gladly take you in a a mini me. All your missing is my hair."

Groaning I spoke "don't encourage them."

Than moving up to tsunade I spoke. "Both me and kurami are great full that you saved me hokage-sama."

"Ehh don't mention it your like a grandson to me." She replied while ruffling my hair. "Now get back in formation." Nodding I turned on my sensor ability and took over leading the group. While the others formed up around the hokage.

*two days later*

While sitting on a tree with my sensor ability on full blast I felt lion wake up. Hopping down and walking over to him I whispered "shhh everyone's asleep let me help you up." As I helped him stand before jumping up into the trees with him. Setting him down on a branch I sat a foot away and asked "you good."

Nodding with a groan he stretched and spoke in a whisper "ya but my body is sore."

Bossing I asked "that it?"

Nodding he asked back "what happened after I passed out and how about you last time I saw you you were way worse than me?"

"Well tsunade healed me while weasel gave me a new eye. I woke up two days ago we are at the border of the land of waterfalls and the land of earth." I said as I gave him some water. "Also dog decided to adopt that little girl from the village."

"I knew it he had the same look on his face as you did with mito all those years ago." Lion replied

Chuckling I nodded before speaking "yup crow said the same thing. Now that your up we can go faster and make it to the land of iron on time." Nodding lion yawned seeing this I spoke "go back to sleep and real sleep not that fake sleep practice." I scolded

"Fine wake me up in the morning then." He said before heading back down.

As he did I lowered the bandana that I had over my sharingan and started to mess with it. I couldn't cast any genjutsu with it yet but I saw all of the chakra in the others. Pulling out a kunai I could almost see a line that pointed where the kunai would land. Than looking around I tracked an owl in slow motion with its ability to slow down time. Smiling I looked up into the night sky and used the sharingan to memorize this beautiful stary sky.

"It's amazing isn't it?" Asked weasel as he got up next to me his own sharingan on while looking into the night sky.

"Ya even better with a sharingan." I spoke as I looked from Star to star.

"Hmm you should know that with these eyes comes the curse of hatred." He spoke drawing my attention. Seeing me look at him he continued "the sharingan is awakened by trauma or in a time of need. After that comes the three stages one tomoe, two tomoe, and three tomoe the sharingan increases in power as you get more tomoe." Than pausing to take a breath he continued "but there are another two stages the mangekyou and eternal mangekyou. There have been a few known instances of some one awakening this eye they are madara, his brother, kagami, yagami, mikoto, shisui, the rouge uchiha, and now me. Normally you unlock the mangekyou after watching one of your loved ones die. Shisui unlocked his through hard work alone." He stopped to take a breath than looked at me. "I didn't know at the time but watching you get stabbed and than watching as blood shot out of your mask when hidan used that blood curse jutsu I unlocked my own mangekyou." As he finished his tomoe spun at a fast pace than morphed into the shape of a shurikan. "The only problem is that when you unlock these eyes the more you use them the more you go blind. The only way to stop this is to take a close relatives mangekyou and replace your own gaining the eternal mangekyou."

Nodding along I asked when he finished "so your ganna trade eyes with mikoto right?"

As I finished I heard a groan from him and a "genius of the uchiha clan my ass I'm so stupid why didn't I think of that." He spoke and palmed his face.

Chuckling i than spoke sadly "yes but shisui's mom doesn't have the mangekyou right."

Missing sadly he spoke "yes but I've convinced him to only ever use these eyes in the most desperate of situations."

Bossing I spoke "good now I'm tired take your turn for the watch." As he nodded I made my way to my blanket and laid down.
