Reading the note

(AN: in the original story of Naruto militia and Kushina are best friends so I thought it fitting she would be the godmother. Also the mc won't be doing any shinobi missions till he's like 7-8 years old I have an idea on how to make it happen but no more spoilers.)

As I was about to pick up the note I felt a chakra burst outside blinking I felt as if the chakra signature was familiar. Than I remembered I felt this chakra signature when I was back in the village but only for a split second before it disappeared 'I thought they had left but they followed me how?' With a frown on my face I thought of only 2 possibilities 'either they are also a sensor and have a longer range than me or they were able to hide from my and kurami's senses. Both are worrying but the first is out because I just felt them and they are well within my sensing range only about 40 feet away from me and they just popped up out of no where.' I grit my teeth at the implication 'I need to work on my senses if some one can walk right up to me just by hiding their chakra.' Deciding to think on my training later and ignoring the person outside for now I picked up the note and found not one but 2 notes one on top of the other deciding to read the one that was on top first I opend it up and started reading.

'To Naruto my son;

The kyuubi has broken free of your mothers seal. This happened due to the interference of a third party during your birth.'

"Obito" I said out loud darkly with killing intent shining within my eyes as they took a blood red hue not the slitted crimson eyes of the kyuubi's but those of the woman's that's sealed in my sword. The sword shook a little from the strap on my back. Also a dark read miasma started coming off of the sword but again as soon as it started it ended.

Taking a calming breath I focused back on the note.

'He introduced himself as madara uchiha but I don't believe him I saw a drawing of madara uchiha in the shinobi library and the fake madara doesn't match his body type at all. The only similarity between him and madara is that they both have the sharIngan and black hair. He has the ability to turn intangible as well as teleport. I fought him but he got away due to his teleportation technique. The kyuubi is wrecking havoc on the village right now so I'll leave your mother here to right you her note while I keep the kyuubi busy your mothers uzumaki chakra sealing chains are key to re sealing the kyuubi. Good bye son and know no matter who you become I'll always love you.'

'From minato namikaze your loving father.'

Letting a smile come to my face as well as a tear I put my fathers note down and picked up my mothers.

'To my son

Since your father gave you all the details about the kyuubi escaping and information on the basterd who did this I'll give you our wishes for your future. Know that I'll love you no matter what but I hope you find a nice girl and settle down like me and your father were suppose to do. I know you either grew up with your perverted godfather jiraya or your godfather mikoto and have become a strong shinobi by the time you see this note after your father told the old monkey to not tell you our identities until your either a jonin or 16. Now if you were raised by your godfather jiraya don't you dare end up a super pervert like him don't listen to what he says about relationships or any other topics about women. If he was busy with guarding the village after the kyuubi attack and can't raise you than I know mikoto will raise you she's my best friend since the shinobi academy. She's loyal, kind, and a good mom from what I've seen from itachi it's to bad her husband has a stick up his ass I told her that man wasn't a good person but she was forced into it bye her clans elder council, damm old, senile, power hungry, cunts. Anyways I know one of them will raise you with love and care. Now it's time to reseal the kyuubi into you I can already feel my life force giving away even with my uzumaki genetics. Putting my mothers note down with shaky hands I took a few breaths to calm myself down I noticed a paper clip at the bottom of my moms note and turned the note over to see 2 pictures one of a old man with silver hair next to my father and another with the picture of a beautiful black haired woman with a small smile next to my mom. Recognizing these 2 as jiraya and mikoto i grit my teeth at them leaving me to suffer in that hell hole of an orphanage.

"I know why jiraya hasn't come back not only did the man he saw as a son die but also with how shit our military power is right now there's no way we could waste a strong shinobi like jiraya by making him watch me also there's the fact that he's our spymaster and can't be in the village for more than a week at a time so i can't place any blame on him. Mikoto on the other hand retired as a shinobi after birthing itachi and becoming a stay at home mom. So why, why didn't she help me. Why didn't she take me in does she hate me because of the kyuubi…. No it can't be that mom was the jinchuuriki before me and they were best friends there's no way mikoto didn't know, so why." I said out loud to no one but myself.

Deciding that I needed answers I wanted to go and find her but I don't think I'm aloud within the uchiha district. Also If I remember correctly than the uchiha are not only being suppressed at the moment but also are being watched by no the root anbu and the hokages anbu. 'I'm not that good at stealth yet to sneak into the uchiha clan district. I have only 2 years before the massacre to find answers.' I was knocked out of my plans by the morning sunlight hitting my eyes. Blinking a few times to get my sight back I also remembered that there was someone on my new houses front porch. Deciding to look at them through the blinds first before going out there I walked over to the window and moved tve blinds to see a beautiful black haired woman staring at the ground and nervously twiddling her thumbs with a blank stare as if she wasn't all there at the moment.

Blinking my thoughts all came to a stop as I robotically closed the blinds and walked to the door my thoughts going haywire and conflicting emotions going on from within my eyes. As I opend the door I started to get back control over myself and as I got closer I stopped about 2 feet away from her and said one word.

"Godmother"
