11 Going to Kyoto

"Be careful, honey" Issei's mother wished Issei and Kuroka good bye as they went towards the car with the suitcase in their hands as they had planned to stay there for at least two weeks.

'Some may be wondering why my parents are letting me go to another city when I'm just a normal 12 year old boy. To be honest even I don't know why they are just letting me go to another city when I could be in danger as I have not way to "defend myself". Perhaps, I have the main character's plot armour given that I reincarnated as the main character.'

"So are you excited to go to Kyoto" Issei asked Kuroka while she was using eating some snacks that my mother made.

"Hmm" Kuroka replied with a mouthful of brownies that she loved.

After 20 minutes of enduring the munching sounds that came from Kuroka, we finally arrived at Kyoto. As expected, the city was magnificent. Issei seen the real Kyoto once when Issei searched it in Google but it can't even hold a candle to the city he was seeing. Everything there seems a lot more vibrant and picturesque, perhaps it was because the abundant amount of nature energy that is present in the city.

They reached the hotel that they were staying in for two weeks and left their luggage there before leaving to tour the city which was destined to be a memorable experience for both of them.

"So where should we visit first" Issei asked Kuroka who was beaming with excitement.

"How about we visit the shrines, Nya" With those words Kuroka grabbed his arms and led him to a visible shrine that they could see that was on a top of a mountain.

"The red gates seems like it's going to go on forever" Issei complimented the red gates as it gave him a feeling that it goes on forever and also it looked magnificent.

*Rustle*

Issei heard a rustle and also heard a voice inside forest that was surrounding the red gates. Issei decided to check that out to satisfy his curiosity.

"Kuroka, I heard something in the forest. I'll see you at the shrine" Issei went through the gates and disappeared from Kuroka's gaze.

Issei started to walk towards the noise which he heard and couldn't find anything until he noticed a lot of footprints that had different sizes.

'Most of the footprints are large in size while these ones are small that of a child. I think that some men were chasing a little girl judging from the footprints which lead towards north' Issei ran following the footprints to see if his observation was right.

As soon as he arrived at the scene where the footprints stopped leading him, he arrived to see 15 men surrounding a cute little girl that seems to be the age of 7.

'Geez why is it pedos this time' Issei thought as the scene clearly would make anyone think that the group of men were paedophiles since they had a smile on their face while they girl was frightened.

"Our leader would be pleased with this" One of the man spoke who seemed to be a yokai as he had feathers all over his body.

"With this we can blackmail Yasaka kukukuku" Another man laughed out. He had scales that resembled a snake with eyes that had slit pupils.

'Orochimaru is that you. I knew you would be here given that there is a little child here and I know how much you love little children' Issei joked at the appearance and the behaviour of the man.

One of the men decided to go towards the girl who was cornered and Issei decided that that was the moment to act but before he did, he used illusion magic to make him seem like an old youkai and as soon as the man was one meter away from the girl, Issei disappeared from his spot and appeared right in top of the man and kicked his head towards the ground which made him unconscious.

"Who are you" A young yokai asked after the sudden appearance of Issei.

"I'm your father" Issei said to troll the yokai.

"No, No. That's no true. That's impossible" The yokai cried out which brought everyone's attention to lone yokai who seemed shock by the news.

"You know it to be true" Issei said trying to invoke a response from the yokai.

"Noooooooooooooo!" The yokai screamed out denying the fact.

"Join me" Issei said with his right hand out.

The yokai started running towards Issei attempting to kill him but before he could even land a blow to Issei, he got kicked in the stomach and flew 20 meters away into a tree, knocked unconscious.

The rest got out of their confused state and quickly began to attack Issei all at once which was child's play for Issei.

One yokai decided to attack Issei from the front by landing punch while another tried to slash him with a sword from the back which Issei just ducked to avoid both blast.

He did a one inch punch on the yokai who tried to punch him and with his strength the yokai was sent 100 metres away and crashed into multiple tress breaking them in half.

He decided to use his boosted spear to finish the guy with the sword. The Yokais ran toward Issei trying cut Issei which Issei used the blunt end of his spear to block and redirect the sword slash away from him.

After few seconds of blocking Issei got sick of the fight and decided to end it by attacking ferociously without giving the yokai any time to counter his attacks. Issei decided to only use a little strength to fight since he wanted a bit of fun from fighting.

As soon as the Yokai got tired from defending against Issei's attacks he began to leave gaps which Issei exploited and gave a lot damage to the yokai.

'I can't stab him with a spear as the little girl is here' Issei didn't want to show the little girl, him stabbing the guy through his heart which is the reason he held back against the other yokai or they would have exploded into chunks of flesh and also another reason would be because he doesn't want to get his clothes dirty with their blood.

To end the fight Issei grabbed the staff and knocked the Yokai out by attacking the yokai with the blunt end of the spear.

Issei used body flicker which he reinvented from Naruto as it used magic instead of chakra and in a few seconds, he defeated the other 12 yokai with ease but decided mark them so he could kill them once he gets the girl out of there.

He dropped his illusion as he had no purpose for the illusion any further and walked towards the girl who was still standing there.

"Hello there my name is Issei's, what is your name little girl" Issei asked the girl who now seemed confident.

"Kunou, Issei-niisan" Kunou said cutely and with her fox ears and tails, Issei found it too cute.

'Issei-niisan. I like the sound of that, makes me wanna spoil her rotten hehehe':While Issei was in his own delusion, he didn't notice Kunou calling him.

"Issei-niisan" Kunou tried calling to get him out of his imagination.

"Huh?" Issei got out of his imagination and looked at Kunou.

"*Cough* Where are your parents" Issei finally decided to get to the point so that he can get her to her parents instead of wasting time imagining.

"My mom lives there" Kunou pointed towards the location of her mother's house.

'Mother. I think she might not have a father or else she would have also mentioned her father and mother' Issei.

"Alright, I'll take you to your mom" Issei put his hand forward for Kunou to hold.

As soon as Kunou held Issei's hand, Issei teleported to Kuroka who has one of his seals. Kuroka was surprised by the child who was holding Issei's hand.

"Let's take you to your mom" Issei said while holding Kunou's hand since she could get lost among the crowds.
