Reborn

There was once a time where humanity was on the peak of its prosperity, its power, its technology has been said to be unrivaled to the point that even "God" decided to punish them. Because of this, disasters appear out of nowhere and proceed to destroy what humans called civilization.

Despair enveloped humanity, the helplessness of facing the wrath of God without the power to fight back had driven people in the state of powerlessness and can only give themselves false hope.

However, just as humanity was on the verge of extinction, the 13 heroes appeared. With their power, they defeated the enemy in front of them despite paying heavy prices and gave humanity hope.

But alas, even "they" can't beat the power of God and lost miserably in their final battle.

In order to pass their legacies, they created "something". A place where their power and knowledge will be stored and be given to those who are worthy in the future generations.

They called it the Elysian Realm

Humanity, a complicated way of identifying existence. Most people think that only living human beings can be classified in this category, those that are dead or dismembered are something that had already been tarnished and not allowed to be included.

Of course, there are lunatics in this world that don't follow that view, like a certain green haired snake loli.

Nonetheless those things that make a human human will always be too complex to explain, even the wisest people that have walked the Earth also understand this.

"Ugh…my head hurts."

Groaning, the young man lifted his head up trying to ease the pain in his head.

"What?!!"

Shaking his 'head', the young man realizes that he doesn't have any and begins to panic.

"Woah woah, what? Wait, what happened?! Where's my head?!"

The young man(?) scrambles up trying to make sense of what's happening to him.

— 5 minutes later —

The young man finally calms down. Aside from a head, he doesn't even have a body and moreover he seems to be located inside of a computer, kind of reminds him of the matrix with a bunch of codes floating around.

"Bruh, what happened to me." The young man(?) Asked no one in particular.

After calming down, he realizes that not only does he not have a head but an entire body. It's an odd situation, he can clearly move and even feel his 'limbs' but in a physical sense they aren't there.

"Damn it, what's this place?" The young man looked around. Although this looks like the inside of a computer from the movies he watched, he feels some sort of belonging in this place despite the state of his body.

"For now, get out of this place." He rushed and moved forward towards something. Although he couldn't see it, he felt it would lead him outside of this matrix-like place.

It doesn't make sense but he certainly isn't a human now, although it might be dangerous but it's better to leave than stay inside of this unknown place.

In the deepest part of the Elysian Realm, a figure covered in darkness was shown to be clasping and kneeling as if it was praying.

"Something has entered the Elysian Realm." The shadowy figure muttered with what seemed to be a woman's voice.

She can be consistent as the ruler of this place so it isn't strange for her to notice it.

"But when and how did it enter?" The woman continued asking. No one heard her questions, for her this is just the same as in the beginning, always finding unsolvable questions.

"Something has changed." The shadow woman looked in the distance for a moment and proceeded to continue her praying.

"Well, fuck me." The young man said. It was a long distance or was it? After all, he couldn't tell where the road was or how far he was. But one thing is certain, he finally got out! It's just….

"Why the hell did I become an eyeball?" That's right, the young ma— no the eyeball in the digital screen was scanning around him.

The place was shining with various colors, it was beautiful but also strange, it looked surreal.

It was certainly a bizarre experience for him to walk without feeling anything beneath him yet it feels so natural as if he was made for this.

"This is gonna be tough." He muttered. This place looks like an isolated space. It's hard to tell if the exit will actually lead him outside.

Scanning the area around, Mr. Eyeball pondered to himself. There are no other living creatures around, heck he's not even sure if he's classified as one.

"Ahem, Hello?" He asked with a loud voice. It may be stupid but he's already freaky as he is, he doesn't think he's in the position to avoid people especially when he's lost. He will figure it out later but for now find directions.

"..."

Silence was all that answered him. It was weird as the place looks lively with various pink crystals shining around and illuminating colors but maybe he just went on at the wrong time?

"Hello, Hello, HELLOOOOOOOOOOO.'' The silence was deafening for him. It's like a party with lights and music but no people, it's…..lonely.

The eyeball was looking for ways to traverse the place. This place is weird, he doesn't have the motor functions to move around yet he feels light and easy…. As if the place was meant for him.

"If I only had an actual humanoid body." Just because he feels easy doesn't mean he is capable of doing it quickly! old habits die hard after all and he certainly feels it'll be more convenient to move with legs than merge with the ground?

"Great, just great, drop me on some unknown place with no one around, at least leave some cute girl to be my guide." The dumb eyeball complained.

"Oh~ Oh~ did someone say a beautiful girl?" a mellow voice asked.

"I actually said cute girl but what—" Huh?

"Turning around" The eyeball saw a girl with two big personalities, fluffy pink hair and elf ears?

"Hello~ Mr. Eyeball~ or should I say Mr. Herrscher?" Ms. Pink Elf greeted with a smile.
