2 Elysian Realm

"Is this necessary?" Mr. Eyeball or at this point Mr. Herrscher asked.

"Of course~ as a beautiful girl it's my job to escort you." The Pink Elf spoke as it's the most natural thing in the world.

The pink elf was carrying a box that is similar to that of a television but instead of a show, it's a moving eyeball that is flashing on the screen. It looks like a heartwarming picture. A beautiful girl humming while an eyeball is staring down as if it was shy.

'I guess I'll just die.' The eyeball stared at the front with lifeless eyes.

— Earlier —

"Hello~ Mr. Herrscher." The Pink Goblin mischievously waved. Although she didn't emit malice and ill intent,the pressure of a powerful person is surrounding her. 

'Must not make an enemy.' The Eyeball Herrscher thought something right for once.

Considering her casualness, she must've been here for a long time and probably observing him. He wouldn't be surprised if that's the case as she easily came behind him without him noticing.

"H-Hello…ummm." Damn he must have looked like a retard right now.

Not that a glitchy eyeball would have an obvious expression.

 "Hehehe~ oops, My name is Elysia~." Elysia twirled and did a wink.

'Seriously?' Was all he could think.

"So how is it? Did the sight of a beautiful girl stunned even the scary Herrscher~?" The pink haired woman asked narcissistically.

It sounds like a harmless question but judging by the atmosphere, something's gonna happen and it won't be pretty if he says the wrong answer.

Herrscher? The term sounds familiar to him….

"Hello Ms. Elysia!" The Herrscher of Television greeted her 'enthusiastically.'

No way, who made this girl dangerous. He can definitely feel it, as if she was wary of him.

"Mr. Herrscher finally spoke! I was starting to think that my beauty dazzled you and couldn't speak and….." Elysia started talking about the unique power of beautiful girls leaving the tense atmosphere returned to a more lighthearted one.

You know what? Nevermind, just need to ask for directions and get out of this weird place.

"But how did Mr. Herrscher entered the Elysian Realm?" Elysia finally stopped chattering and asked a relevant question.

"Huh?"

"Did you latch on Gray Snake?" Ms. Pink Elf held her chin and blinked cutely.

Other people would probably be mesmerized by the adorable sight but for him, her words caught his attention more.

'Herrscher? Elysia? Gray Snake? Elysian Realm?' Those familiar names keep repeating on his head,

"So….Mr. Herrscher~" Her singing voice snapped him back to reality.

Looking back at her again, he saw her holding a bow and pointed towards him. 

"What does a Herrscher want in our paradise?" This wasn't a question.

He looks calm on the outside but inwardly he's panicking!

"..... Would you believe it if I said I spawned here?" Good joke! Like hell she'll believe it.

But contrary to his expectations, she made an "o" and put her bow down.

"So Mr. Herrscher is just lost~ I see now." Elysia nodded to herself.

'That's it?' Not that he was complaining but I guess if you're strong enough, you won't worry about mere threats.

"Yeah I'm lost." The Eyeball Herrscher nodded. There was no point in hiding it and adding to the fact that he was really lost.

"It's weird~ No one can just enter the Elysian Realm." Shit, that term again. It's familiar and the more he looks at the girl in front of him the more that feeling intensifies.

"But it's a rare guest~ A Herrscher appeared!" Elysia clapped her hands and said.

"What's a Herrscher?" He's dumb anyway so might as well ask.

Elysia looks surprised for a moment and then smiles. It sounds like good news to her but instead of saying anything. She picked up the mini TV and carried it close to her chest as if she was hugging it. 

"I'm gonna introduce you to my best friend." She said while walking happily.

Wait! You didn't answer my question!

— Back to the Present —

While they were walking, he found out a lot of information as Elysia happily told him. 

Herrscher, Honkai…..

Yep, he remembers it now. It's that heartwarming game that heals the souls of the player, the story is top notch and even has that classic line "Fight for all that is beautiful in the world!." 

The story about cute girls fighting aliens and saving the world, truly such a touching game…..

Yeh right! Fuck that guy who recommended it to me.

He still remembers that day when his friend came to him and suggested that he should play Honkai Impact III. He was smiling and enthusiastically explaining how good the game is and as a gacha addict himself, he didn't refuse it. After all, aside from rolling what else could be bad about a gacha game?

And he's right, it is a heartwarming game. A heartwarming game that gave him depression that is.

He still remembers the amount of cursing he did while watching each CG.

But to think that he would be in this game. He's definitely gonna die! Especially when you put him on the base of the super secret boss and the worst part is that there's more than one boss!

Did he also forget to mention that he's also a Herrscher? Yep, definitely gonna die.

He was waiting for that moment but unexpectedly, Elysia didn't harm him or anything that would've hurt him but instead patiently informed him about the Honkai and their realm.

Not gonna lie, it was weird when she said "Herrschers are calamities sent by the Honkai to destroy humanity." Yet here he is getting woman(?)handled by this Pink Elf.

But the melancholy of her voice speaks something else.

"So you're telling me that I'm a Herrscher and you're gonna introduce me to your friends who kill Herrschers?" What a welcome indeed.

It's absurd the more you think about it but not like he can do anything about it. He's a Herrscher yes but what Herrscher? I don't remember a Herrscher in the game that became an eyeball on TV.

"So Elys—." 

"Mou~ call me Ellie." Ms. Pink Elf pouted.

"So Ellie, mind telling if you're gonna kill me?" What can I say? Better get as much information before you die.

Elysia tilted her head confused.

"Why should I kill Mr. Herrscher?" Seriously? You just said that your friends are Herrscher killers and you're asking me?

"Well for one, I'm a Herrscher, an enemy of humanity, second of all, I invaded your paradise as you said. Aren't you angry?" Herrscher of Eyeball replied. When you think about it, it's a legitimate reason to kill him.

Elysia stopped walking, although it was only for a moment, her smile disappeared and was replaced by a frown before quickly going back to smiling again.

"Don't think that Herrschers can also be friends?" Elysia asked. It sounds like a question but there was something behind those words.

"But you said they are enemies of humanity and it's in their nature?" Although in the story, they could become allies but she obviously doesn't know that.

Elysia shook her head.

"What if they regain their humanity? Herrschers are former humans after all."

She got a point and that's something that will definitely happen following the plot.

"Then I guess you can be friends with them. After all, once they regain their humanity there would be no reason for them to destroy other humans." He replied.

"Hmm~." Elysia nodded and continued walking.

Although it sounds idealistic, it can work like that. Herrschers were once humans and means they have human emotions, even wicked ones like Otto or Sirin can still have a shred of humanity that prevents them from harming others. Of course that's on the premise that the Herrscher has someone it dearly loves.
