Dream. sweet, and sour.

After closing the interface of his system he lean on his back on the hospital bed headboard. he looks at the TV that shows black screen. it's reflect his own face albeit a little blurry. his face changed and his life changed too.

he looks to the side where su-ah sleeping while holding his left arm. she had a beautiful face when sleeping. daeho couldn't help but to rub her hair. he felt thankful to the noona that care for him so much so that it's feel heavy but warm at the same time.

only now he could clearly see the face of the woman. she had a black jet bob-cut short hair, with a small pointy nose and pink lips she wear a green sleeveless turtleneck that let her bare armpit free, blue jeans she wore printed her beautiful long legs. daeho could see her white bra straps from her sweater gap.

"mmmh..." while daeho rubbing her hair she let out a small voice. su-ah curled up to his hand while slight purrs come from her. it's seems that she enjoys his touch.

it's happen quite some time before her brows furrowed and she abruptly opened her eyes. she could felt the warm palm of daeho so she surprised and straighten her back to sit properly. she looks at daeho with a bulging eyes and gaping mouth. daeho seeing this is smiling widely.

"good morning, sunny noona." he said this to her

in su-ah dream when daeho checking his system...

It's a dark space all over the vicinity. su-ah looking at the her surrounding only to find nothing but darkness that expand to unknown or not at all, it's dark she wasn't know how to describe it.

she is going to sleep in this darkness until her tiredness is wearing off. she hoped when she wakes up she could tend daeho with more care.

but that wasn't the case.

"Sunny, Mia, June this is daeho and he will live with us starting today." Her Father, Yonggu voice could be heard and it's made her surprised. abruptly she open her eyes.

the darkness was gone.

now that awaits her is a view of four people. her dad, mom, sister and his brother. it's her brother in his little form, sister in her black middle school uniform, ever so plump mother and slightly thin father. he wants to calls her brother but couldn't as she now aware that she couldn't move her mouth and her body.

"let's get along!" her mother said while clasped her hand in front of her.

"I don't mind..." su-ah mouth move itself without her order. she said that while twirling her hair with her index finger.

seeing that she sighed. it seems that she was seeing a fragment of her memory.

"call me noona, okay!" says Mia while smiling to little daeho.

"Noona?" the child daeho tilted his head seems not knowing what noona is.

su-ah feels her body flinched and could see her sister too flinched just like her. its seems like the sight of cute child holding a bag in front of him while tilted his head is too dangerous for the twins.

"keuhh... looks sunny, we got a cute brother don't you think?" said Mia grinning ear to ear whisper to su-ah. her question got a dazed nod from su-ah.

inside, su-ah was overwhelmed by the cuteness of her little brother. she could felt her heart sting. 'to think I would do a shameless thing like scheming to this little boy...'

she sigh inwardly and blinked. then the scenery change again.

now she looks like sitting alone in a bench of desolate park. she looks down to her hands that holding a crunched exam papers that had a score of 67.

"noona!" there's a shout from a distance but su-ah could hear it clearly. she hid her paper behind her while looking at the source of shout.

she could clearly see daeho running towards her. no, instead of running it's seems like he's jogging but he looks tired and sweat soaked his face and white uniforms.

its take a minute before he arrived in front of su-ah. when he catch up with her daeho bowed and supported his body by his ankle. he desperately gasping for air.

'daeho...' su-ah looks at daeho with a tender gaze. daeho now wearing uniform which means that he is in his first year of high school. while su-ah currently at high school senior.

"sunny noona,... I'm searching you everywhere..." said daeho while smiling at su-ah. he swipe his sweaty forehead with his hand.

"..." su-ah just there sit quietly looking at daeho seemingly in daze.

"noona?" asked daeho in worried tone.

"nothing... why are you searching me?" asked her with lifeless voice.

"why? I see some big picture when I go to school. on the picture is a text that said 'if you drink this you will surely get refreshed' so I buy the drink for noona! I felt noona these day is too gloomy!" said him with cheerful tone while bringing a bottle of sports drink from his pants pocket.

"..." su-ah received the bottle and looks at it with a smile. although she didn't believe these so called 'smart drink' she like daeho sentiment for her.

'ah yes... I remember this is the time where I got motivated after my crushing defeat in exam... this kid...' inwardly su-ah felt thankful for him. if not for the drink and the motivation she got. she would surely regret her decision. that time she was thinking of seriously became an idol because of her friend that said she got a great body and surely the idol industry would accept her with open arms.

but because of this event she gained her passion in literature and go to the prestigious university that had the department concerned.

"drink it noona!" exclaimed daeho when he see that her noona didn't drink from the bottle. he seems to hoping to got an immediate effect.

"..." su-ah could only comply after seeing daeho face that filled with expectancy. opening the seal she drink it and somehow could feel the energy inside her body is burning and her mind became clealer.

"how is it, noona?" asked daeho.

but su-ah didn't answer him. she just gulped it down to the last drop. and suddenly stood up when the drink is finished. she take daeho wrist and bring him out of park.

"noona where are we going?" asked daeho that certainly confused by su-ah response.

"... library. your score is bad this semester." said her looking at her walking path. she couldn't tell him that it is because she got a sudden impulse to read and study.

"ehh don't wanna! I want to play with kobong." protests him but still following his noona direction.

"just come along with noona, don't ask!" she said sternly that made daeho chicken out. he could only follow his noona.

su-ah take a glance at him and a smile crept out from her mouth. looking to the front she felt the sky is brighter for some reason and then she blinked again. the scenery changed.

she's now in a dining room holding a paper in front of her breast while posing to the camera her mother holding across the table. beside su-ah is her sister holding the paper that had a similar feels to it.

su-ah with her usual stoic face looking at camera with deadpan face while Mia smiling widely at the camera.

"says cheese!" said their mother.

"aye!" exclaimed Mia excitedly while posing using high up peace hand sign.

"..." while su-ah looking at the camera with a stoic face. her peace sign is hanging low.

"finished!" June said excitedly. Mia run to her seems want to look at the picture and daeho too run to the camera. "let me see!"

su-ah sit on the dining chair with a worn out expression. she looks at the content of paper she was holding. it's her CSAT result paper. she got the top three position of best scorer on her school. it's unbelievable to her. with that kind of score she could joined one out of three SKY universities in Seoul.

'it's that this time...' she sigh inwardly. it was this time that she decided to avoid daeho at all cost. because every time she close to him her heart beating so fast.

then after that the scenery keep changing. it's going from her daily life with daeho and her family. then how he smile at her even when she annoys him. he wasn't a type to complain. well it's more like he couldn't complain because of his slow growth and that was his charm to her.

'why are you let me see this? it's the time when I think I can't be together with him. he's my brother! I couldn't marry my brother...' thought her. yes, it is a sole reason why did she avoided him.

she thinks of daeho as her blood brother. but that was change when the accident happen. she wasn't be able to endure leaving him completely nor him leaving her completely. it's hard for her.

and now on her dream, she's currently standing in a white space. her eyes are filled with determination. it's a determination to have her brother accepted her. not as a sister. but as a woman.

she cupped her hand and stands on her knee he pray to the white room 'I will teach him a way to be a proper man and I wouldn't lie to my heart again. so please whomever sends me here... please save daeho! please wake him up!'

then all of the white space is going black and she got a little pain on her head. but the pain is stops by a warm feeling that she felt all over her head. she opened her eyes and know that her prayer is answered.

She had a surprise face when she saw daeho smiled warmly at her. her eyes became moist and unconsciously she wrap her hands around him.

"daehoo!!" she shout his name when she hugs him. she felt relieved and glad. she felt safe when daeho hugs her back.
