Chapter 7: The first hunt

It has been a week since kagerou rescued. The baby crow, who he decided to call karasu.

karasu didn't have trouble. Fitting in with the pack as the wolfs ether ignored or pitied him. thanks to being allowed to eat meat, his wounds were healing nicely as he could now regain nutrients.

but for kagerou, it was different as for the last week, he spent most of his time in the forest tirelessly training his stealth, for the day he would enter the forest alone as it was a tradition in the pack to hunt alone in the forest to prove your worth but more importantly your skills as a Hunter.

Sun the rises on a new day, as both prey and hunter

" -sigh- so today's the day I hunt alone, huh? " Just as kagerou was heading towards the forest, two parks could be heard, turning around, there stood, Yuki and Ryoushi his two siblings parking and howling him a good hunt Kagerou with reply with a confident Howl

Kagerou could be seen sniffing the ground, looking for any scent he could track. Sadly, luck wasn't on his side, continuing to sniff around he caught the scent of prey or, more specifically, wounded prey

The smell of blood was fresh, so it couldn't have gone far

after following the scent, he stumbled upon a waterfall with beautiful greenery with flower's blooming. It was a beautiful sight, but from the top of the mountain, a unique scent wafted through the air, intriguing his curiosity

searching for a way up the mountain he spotted thick

roots that he could jump from, gathering strength in his legs, he cleared the lake reaching the roots from. there he jumped from roots to roots eventually reaching the mountain peak

There the scent so overwhelming that kagerou couldn't smell anything except the scent.

but before kagerou dark purple ish, Spider Lily could be seen trying to get a better look he moved closer, but the system message appears

After coming down and tracking a new scent, kagerou stealthily moves towards a group of cows

hidden in a nearby bush, he checks the cows looking for the weakest one

"Target found," a foul grin marks kagerou is face as he jumps at the cows biting one down easily as he was much stronger - Crunch - the cows neck lay broken.

At the wolf cave, the alpha could be seen guarding the entrance waiting for kagerou to return as the sun was setting almost if kagerou could hear him

From the forest emerges kagerou with the presence of a hunter eye of a king walking proudly on his back, the carcass of a cow.

putting down his gain kagerou stood proudly before his father gaining his respect kagerou was know a member of the pack

after eating, kagerou was lying down near the entrance of the cave, checking his status window
