CHAPTER 17:Mana

"Ahhhh!" David pulled the two boulders or atleast he tried pulling them as sweat dropped from his forehead and drenching his clothes.

the sun wasn't making it easier either as he continuously tried to pull using different methods, like using his teeth, pulling backwards and crawling on all fours.

"master it's impossible" he collapsed on the ground as he looked up at hi master who was sitted on one of the boulder.

"are you giving up that easily" ye raised an eyebrow as he adjusted his butt.

"no I'm not it's just clearly impossible for me, I'm only six years old" David countered as he hoped to be relieved of the impossible.

"you really do want to give up uh" ye squinted his eyes as if saying his disappointed.

thinking for a while as he put his head down suddenly raising it up "I'm not giving up master i-i will keep on trying" he stood up putting each rope in each small hand as he breathed in.

ye smirked as he took out a water bag and a coconut with a small table from an empty space "try concentrating on the aura around and focus on your hands maybe you might pull" he said as he broke open the coconut with his hands.

closing his eyes as he concentrated fully and breathing smoothly as he felt the rich and warm aura filling his body he pulled the rope with all his strength as the boulders suddenly budged.

"ah!" David looked at his hands in astonishment as he looked back at the boulder praying it wasn't just his hallucination as he saw he had really pulled the two like tanks a little bit.

"mas.." he looked up as he was about to brag only to see his master asleep under a giant shield with a wooden stick under it as it stood like an umbrella with a coconut drink on a table.

"...." David focused back in pulling the boulders as he tried again but this time he couldn't pull.

"I guess I have to continuously supply my body with aura" he concentrated again feeling the warm aura fill his body again he pulled the rope dragging the two boulders along as he continued to concentrate on his breathing with his eyes closed.

time passed as David dragged the boulders from the cottage as he suddenly stopped opening his eyes 'i guess I pulled a long way' he checked for the distance he had pulled the boulders 'ehehe I'm damn powerful '.

about to close his eyes he looked at the rope in his hands as he suddenly thought of something "maybe I should try it without closing my eyes and concentrating deeply".

"nah I'm not ready for that shit" he closed his eyes again and tried pulling the boulders as he suddenly fell to the ground falling unconscious.

"David, David.." David opened his eyes feeling the softness and the cold air blowing on his face "is this heaven" he turned to the side seeing his master sitting beside him.

"this isn't heaven, but you did very good I'm shocked you were able to pull those boulders" ye said with a smile that would make girls think he's a celebrity.

"wait i- I did good?" David sat up as he suddenly felt the strain on his back "ah! my back".

"rest for a while, you pushed yourself too hard but you accomplished something even most immortal wouldn't accomplish in a million years" ye brought some water putting it on a table beside David as he suddenly stood up.

"I will be back in a while so make sure you get much rest we begin aura training again and your mana heart development too later in the night".

"yes master" David nodded smiling proudly as ye went out closing the door behind him.

"I did great, Im getting stronger mhm" David almost yelled out as he clenched his fist feeling his heart pump wildly, turning his head to the water on the table as he drank it emptying the cup.

"wheeew that was refreshing" he laid back on the blue grass as the wind blew passed him making him fall asleep.

hours passed as the birds went back into their nest and the sound of insects could be heard.

"it's dark already" David opened his eyes as he stretched his hands, yawning "gotta go back for...." suddenly darkness descended as a huge hammer clashed into the world destroying it, with two green eyes watching from the sky.

"Ah!!!" David jolted up from the couch as he panted heavily with sweat dripping down his face suddenly the door opened as David looked towards it in pure horro revealed on his face, he was terrified.

"David what's wrong" ye rushed towards him as he looked worriedly at the terrified David.

"i-i-im okay I just had a nightmare" David body shivered as he breathed in closing his eyes to calm his racing heart.

"you know you really behave like matured rather than a child" ye finally breathed in relief as he patted his head "makes me think your older than your real age".

'i am older than my real age' David looked out the window as he saw the moon reflecting it's light into the cottage.

"master the aura training" David finally remembered as he sat up and walked to the empty space sitting down comfortably.

"how about we beging your mana heart development first" ye said with a smile as his eyes glinted a little.

"yes!" David said happily as ye sat opposite him.

"first I never explained properly about mana will so I will explain now listen properly" ye looked at David as the boy nodded in understanding.

"firstly mana is energy used in controlling or willing the powers or elements to your own will while aura is empowering it or directing it to your will, for example" ye opened his hands as the a small tornado formed on it.

"this is just me directing mana to my specific elements" then the small tornado turned bigger and bigger "this is using aura will together with your mana" he clenched his hand into a fist suddenly dispersing the tornado.

'so mana is like a car engine and aura is like the fuel' David nodded in total understanding as his eyes glimmered.

"let's begin" ye sat comfortably opposite David "now close your eyes and the mana in your body it's going to feel like a flood but try to control it into a calm sea"

david closed his eyes as he felt the excitement in his body and air blowing through his body and into his body as it suddenly flowed smoothly.

"now direct it into your a center you feel is right and repeat it over and over until you feel like your going to fly" ye smiled seein the fast progress of his disciple.

David controlled the flow on the right side of his heart as the mana poured in rotating again and again as it grew bigger and bigger "uh" David finally opened his eyes as he looked fulfilled and small amounts blue lightning traveling around his body.

"you really are unique David Wayne" ye looked at David like a rare diamond as he smiled fully revealing his teeth "if someone saw this they still won't believe it".

"I'm not that special" David shrugged.

"mana heart takes four months for geniuses and six months for the average, remember when I said you needed atleast a month, you broke through the law in just a few hours" ye sat down as he rest on his hands.

David suddenly remembered as he opened his mouth wide 'fuck'
