The first class

Brrrrrrrrng! Brrrrrrng! Brrrrrrng!

6:00 am

I woke up,it was time to workout

'Unfortunately, we can't bring any servants to the academy...sigh~ seems like I have to prepare breakfast myself'

I wore my jogging clothes a pair of black jacket and pants along with my sneakers

Tuck!

I closed the door and went down with the elevator since it was early morning there was nobody out here except the guards at the front door

Fuuuuuu

I took a deep breath and started running

This is my new schedule

I will wake up at 6 Am and do stamina training till 7

I'll take a shower and prepare breakfast

After that ill head towards my class which was 20 minute's walk from my dorm

After my shower, I wore a new pair of clothes and prepared my breakfast

It took around 15 minutes

And now I was sitting on a table wearing my white shirt buttoned to my chest and my black pants enjoying this relaxing atmosphere

'Truly, this is bliss!

when i prepare my food I don't need to be worried about it being dirty. Finally, I can drink coffee in peace '

After that, I wore my uniform and went towards my classroom building

On the building of the first year, students' classrooms were scattered on each corner of the building

Each classroom welcomes around seventy to eghty students

Among all the classrooms 5 were very special they were the biggest as they were the main focus of the academy

S-1 Royals, Dukes, Marquises, and some highly influential people

S-2 most earldoms and strong viscounts

S-3 weak earldoms and most viscounts some strong baronial families

S-4 most baronial families and rich merchants

S-5 most of the merchants' families

then A until the C class for commoners and those that obtained recommendations

Anyone can raise their rank and then get promoted from lower classes (such as A)

To a higher class and similarly

In extreme cases

Those in the S class could get demoted according to their ranks and fall from the S class

But this was rare as the Royals and nobles had innately high abilities and were gifted

This was the reason why the academy was going to conduct a test as soon as it opened and many more to follow

The reason that this academy was open to commoners was to prevent the talents from falling out. At least, this is what they said

They said that there is no discrimination like one class was better than another and all the students were divided equally between each and their strength was balanced

'This was what the academy said to commoners and many other weak nobles, but the reality is always different '

By doing this academy was forcing the weak ones to train harder and improve themselves, and the prize was the dorms, classrooms, and benefits that followed

'The carrot and stick strategy always works, but not for me, though

I'm already at the top, and there's no way I'm going to fall

Rankings are just an excuse to trample over arrogant nobles and weaklings'

As i walked towards my classroom, i saw some of the supporting characters and even some antagonists

I recognized some of them

'Many of them are destined to die at the future some at the hands of Kyle and some...by me'

I soon reached my classroom S-1

'Its the same class as Emily and the main cast

Although they will join me in this classroom in the future after they raise their ranks

for now they're at A-class along with some supporting and antagonist characters'

The door was rather big with the Royal academy insignia on it

From outside the sound of many students chatting could be heard

I pushed open the door

On my left were all the seats in a semi-circular auditorium stretched from here till the far end,and on my right was the place where the teacher would stand on a slightly high platform with a big digital board on the back of it along with a small stand to present his speech and a chair

I noticed quiet a few hot stares at me, especially from a certain someone with blue hair

Tyler Aven Kreoris, one of Kyle's future subordinates is known for his high Affinity towards the water and Ice his gonna be a very powerful mage in the future

Beside him, I also saw 3 people standing like commanders or something sizing me up and down very carefully

And i also noticed Emily waving at me from the back with enthusiasm, saving me a seat beside herself

in the original novel, Aamon sat beside Olivia but it's gonna be very different this time

I walked to Emily and sat beside her

she smiled like she accomplished something big and I'm indebted to her

"Aren't you happy that i saved you a seat

Aamon, come on, im waiting for your praise

"Yes, you're a good little sister. However, there are several other seats empty You should also be happy i didn't embarrass you

"Sigh~ Well i didn't expect much, but you're harsh

Well, aren't you gonna talk to your soon-to-be fiance she was looking at you"

She pointed toward Olivia and another girl sitting beside her happily chatting,it was Sophia the future sword king

"There is no need"

Emily's smile became brighter and she seemed amused by my words

"Oh then are you two fighting or something?

"Why are you so interested in my affairs, Emily?"

She got flustered for a second like a cat stepped on its tail

"I-its nothing. it's just curiosity, let's forget about that!

"Oh before I forget every class has chosen a leader for themselves, unfortunately, prince Tyler took your place, his the heir to the throne so nobody can object

"Im not interested in kids playing. Let them choose whoever they like"

After i chatted with Emily for some time all the students slowly came to the classroom and the teacher also came shortly after

A woman wearing a grey suit with her red hair tied into a ponytail and brown eyes walked in

The classroom instantly became quiet

"Ladies and gentlemen I'm Clara Johnson im in charge of this class i'm your magic theory teacher spell casting teacher and couple of other subjects pretty much you will be seeing me all year around...unless you fail your exam and fall from this class

Now let's begin with magic theory.."

Everything is going according to the novel Sophia and Olivia became friends and today is also the first day she will meet kyle and others in the cafeteria

'Come to think of it there is also the scene where they get bullied'

most of the nobles from childhood get educated about magic and principles behind it so this class was very boring I wanted to sleep but this cursed body wouldn't let me even slouch my back much less sleep

I'm slowly getting used to this, body characteristics,like his training habit that I embrace,but it seems like I have a long way to go

After the magic theory class that took around 2 hours, it was combat class and the teacher was of course Clara again

After a short break

We entered a huge building the size was gigantic on the sides were filled with all kinds of cases that were imbued with special magic used for preserving

Inside the cases were all kinds of weapons from swords to spears and shurikens and scythe along with many rooms that had different names such as gravity room

spell casting range and many others

'THE TRAINING HALL'

Clara was waiting for us in the middle of the hall with a notebook in her hands and the same outfit

"Welcome to combat class I believe everyone knows the basics so I will skip to the part you will be choosing your weapons, now stand beside the case that holds the weapon of your choice"

Of course, mine being the sword I walked towards the case with a sword inside it and took out a sword it was made of a special alloy similar to wood and wasn't sharp at all

Then Clara wrote down everyone's choice of weapon in her notebook

"Now find yourself a partner and train with I want to observe the level of your Swordsmanship and remember to not use mana I don't wanna spend a night in the medical ward looking after you"

I walked towards Emily to be my partner but she hurriedly distanced herself from me and quickly started training with another girl

'Well i can't blame her I don't want to get beaten too'

"Young master Aamon"

I suddenly heard a familiar voice behind me i turned around and saw Sophia standing behind me holding a sword similar to mine

"Oh please don't be polite were the same age please call me Aamon Lady Berkeley

"O-okay i just saw that nobody is willing to train with you so,considering our accomplishments in rankings i wanted to have a spar with you,Aamon"

Hearing her goodwill i put on my business smile like always

"That's very kind of you, so shall we begin?

"Yes let's move over there it's less crowded "

I held my sword on my side and opened my hands

Sophia surprised by my stance quickly composed herself

The atmosphere instantly changed both of us stood in place looking at each other carefully

Sophia's techniques were described in the novel as the one that finds weak spots in the opponent's Swordsmanship and uses these gaps to land a deadly blow

her sword is fast and destructive coupled with her Earth Affinity she can make any of her attacks deadly

I intentionally left open every spot on my body for attacking I wanna have a challenge with her

She understood my intentions and attacked very fast

I quickly blocked her

Clank!! Clank!

She stumbled backward surprised by my display of strength

I took the opportunity and dashed toward her she didn't back off and did the same

Clank!! Clank! Clank!!

Although the swords were made of something similar to wood and were dull they were making very loud noises and even sparks were flying from time to time

'She's good, but not enough'

I revealed an opening on my left side and she took the bait by attacking it

I quickly side stepped while I parried her sword to my left

her sword hit the ground hard and I raised mine, and struck

Clank!!!

She decided to block that blow which resulted in her sword and her body flying away for a couple of steps

"Are you alright Sophia?

"Agh! Ye-yes im alright just my hand went numb"

I stretched my hand and helped her get up

At the same time, all the eyes were on me I saw many students, proud nobles, and Royals stopping their spar and looking at my Swordsmanship, it can't be helped I was doing my best to not land a deadly blow I held back quiet a bit

Sophia stood up

"Your Swordsmanship is amazing it was my first time seeing anything like it

"You flatter me, Sophia, so do you wanna have another go?

"Yes!!"

Well she's enthusiastic, at least better than someone that whines every time I beat her down (referring to Emily)

soon the Combat class was over too I bid goodbye to Sophia and headed toward Cafeteria with an annoying individual

"Emily, why are you following me?

"Nothing I just want to hang out with my brother

"yeah I just saw how much you wanted to spar with me

"th-that's different!!"

the cafeteria wasn't that far it was around 15 minutes walk from the training area and there was an interesting scene that was going to happen today

'come to think of it I need to get that item before we enter the training tower'

with that in mind me and Emily headed toward Cafeteria to watch the show
