in a green lush forest, you could see a white wolf stalking a dear while hiding behind the lush bushes but the colour of the wolf is too obvious in this terrane the dear noticed and began to run away as dear was about to get out of reach an arrow flew out and hit it in the neck paralyzing it in an instance after a while a muscular young man appeared from inside a bush and got closer to the dying dear took out a knife and finishing its misery

he was a handsome young man who was only wearing leather pants and was shirtless had a tatou that covered most of his arm the tattoo was a complex compilation of ancient Norse runes

and another on his back with a symbol in the middle the symbol is his clan's symbol he has a neckless that has the same symbol too most the man in the jomsviking have a similar tattoo but they don't have the arm one and the neckless as it is a symbol of royalty and superiority only the leaders and his family have it

he began to gut the dear and cut some meat from then he left the rest for the wolf who happily accepted it

he then started making a fire to cook his meat

"cow" a crow flew down the tree and landed on his shoulder

this is our mc balder and his new family that he got 2 years ago his name is Hugin the same as one of the crows of Odin himself which means thought if translated from old Norse

it has been 10 years since I joined the jomsviking in the same year I started training myself and learning from my grandfather the first five years passed in the settlement with no danger at all I just learned everything necessary for survival and many other things like using a bow and arrow or fighting with an axe and a shield which thortfell and my father made sure off and since my body has no limit it grew faster every aspect of my body continued to grow the harder I trained and I could train as hard as I want because my immortality is like a recovery ability so I heal fast so no sore muscles for me

as for what I learned from my grandfather it was mostly politics and how to rule

after the first five years, my father and thorfell saw that I progressed fast so they sent me here and told me to survive on my own which my mother was so angry about she almost beted my father to death but after seeing me after a year she saw that I was alright she was more proud then angry

as I was eating and feeding Hugin I heard something getting close to my location which is weird because I lived in this forest for 5 years and no one comes here because its dangerous and filled with predators I send Hugin to go and see who it is

and it was a group of old Vikings that were making their way toward the mountain

I think they are going to jump from the top it was a common thing that happened in Scandinavia where if some Viking is too old to support himself he will choose the easy way out and that is to commit suicide the sites where this suicidal ritual happened in are called Ättestupa

as they passed through the forest I chose to ignore them as they were not a threat to me

"it's time to go back home "

I start packing my belongings to start my journey home as I was leaving the forest I give it a last look before I continued my journey it was my home for the last 5 yers
