Chapter 12: Snap

The next morning after meditating the whole night and pretending to sleep since thanks to SSserum I only need one hour of sleep each week, after going to my horse and pretending to take something out of a bundle I store all the items I had taken out of my ring and retrieve the ones I usually carry, plus one of the two Scimitar like Swords, then I go and wake up Shanks before the sun is rising.

We walk away, far enough to have a private conversation.

"Shanks, it's hard for me to explain this, but I will try to tell you as much as I can without compromising my position." I say, Shanks just nods and takes out a small bottle of sake from somewhere. What?

I will just consider it Anime logic.

" You can tell if I am lying due to the observation haki, so here we go: At some point in the next few years there will be war, a huge war between the living and the dead. and unless you somehow have found a way to get back to your reality whether you like it or not, you will be involved in this war" Shanks gulped down on the sake but his expression was stone serius.

"I have a plan on how to try to stop it, to try to stop them, but I don't think it will be enough, not with what I have seen so far. I need your help Shanks." My voice broke at the last part making me sound far more desperate than I wanted it to be but it was true.

Shanks finishes the bottle of sake and throws it to the side, then cracks his neck and says

"What do you need me to do kid?" as Shanks says that I finally let go of a breath i was holding without realizing it.

"We need a Fleet. and we need a commander. What is more, we need your charisma and skills in battle. We need to be ready for what is to come. and what comes next is Death in the flesh" After finishing my monologue I offer him the Scimitar like sword "I know it's not Gryphon but it should do the job."

Shanks hand is hesitant but within a few seconds he finds it gripping the hilt of the blade, he takes it out and swings it a few times. After that he activates Armament haki and puts his Sword Intent and swings it one last time creating a huge cut on the earth before sheathing it back and taking it from my hands.

"It will do just fine for now" Shanks says as I help him fasten the Sword belt.

Rahako was up due to the huge amount of energy he just felt released narby, only to find Ogatto and Shanks Standing far away talking. What was more concerning was the huge cut that not only stretched for what seemed miles on earth, it also cut the clouds in the sky.

When Ogatto said that Shanks was like Old Fart Shan he knew that he was strong, but this was something he was not expecting.

~few hours later~

We had been riding south west for a bit and decided to stop for lunch, we needed to eat the other lamb while it was still fresh, so after setting up a small campfire I left shanks to do the cooking while I went to meditate. this past few days have been a mind fuck of the grand order so to speak and I needed to get my thought in order.

Not that my peace lasted long, since i started to hear two women arguing in hushed tones

Annoyed, I open my eyes and see one of the twins approach me while power walking.

"Where are we going" the fiesty of the two twins asks

"Meereen" i simply answer

"and what have you planned to do?" Dfuck? who the fuck you thinck you are?

"That is for me to decide" I say, trying to keep conflict to the minimum, even though I wanted to Archie slap this bitch.

"Well it seems your decisions concern us" the YiTi woman was talking while her twin was trying to pull her back begging her to stop.

"You want to have a fight, then let's have the fight" I was so fed up with everything it was not evening funny.

this seemed to have taken her at back. shell shocked the small YiTish woman tried to take a step back only to be stopped by me.

"who the fuck do you think you are?" enough was enough "I save you a lot and you come with demands towards me? What in The Flying Fuck woman!?" As I was about to slap her, a pitch black hand stopped me.

"chill" a single word said by Shanks. nothing more, nothing less.
