As the orb released waves of cold, frosty air, the many first-year students stared in awe at Mu Bai. They were always told what awakening feels like, but now they have first-hand seen it and will experience it in just a moment.
"Wow…" A bunch of students slightly stood up to get a better view.
~Creak, a sudden thin layer of ice quickly enveloped the orb that Mu Bai was touching.
As Mu Bai walked back toward his seat, he smugly veered to look at Mo Fan. However, Mo Fan was surprisingly laid back on the chair almost falling asleep, not paying any attention to Mu Bai nor seemed excited about awakening.
Mu Bai's face darkened.
Meanwhile, Xue Musheng analyzed the Awakening Stone. 'Usually, a normal person awakens Ice Element, there would be no ice coming out and covering the orb. It seems that Mu Bai is more talented than a normal person.' With that, he casually smiled a bit. 'Better talent = the probability of me getting more salary'
With the first awakening done, most students quickly turned their attention back to the teacher, with their eyes glowing impatiently waiting for their turn.
*cough. "Next, Zhang Long."
"Wind Element!"

"Earth Element!"

Lu Xiaobing looks very defeated and lost his spirit. "What the heck! I wanted it to be a Fire Element. Who wants to be water support!?!" he lamented.
The early treatment of Fire elements and others are so indifferent that a starter Fire mage can join a team to be trained, while Water mages are discriminated against and shat on.

"Hey isn't Zhou Min, a teacher's daughter or something?" A boy whispered around his friend group.
Another boy nodded and added. "If you are thinking of getting close to her, you should be rethinking. Apparently, she has a short temper and can get very defensive."
The first boy grabbed the other boy, whispered to his ear. "That is fine. Once I also awaken the Fire Element, I can have the confidence to do it."
"But you know how rare…" He was about to remind him that awakening the Fire Element was known to be kind of difficult due to how low the possibility of 1 in 15.
"Nah, man. The Key is CONFIDENCE!"
The second boy laughed a little. "Right, you are right. Seems like you are going to be the main character."
Meanwhile, Lu Xiaobing lifted his head on top of his desk. 'This must be a nightmare that I can wake up from!'
*Bang*

"Wait for me, let's do it together!" Lu Xiaobing chimed in. He looked ready to do it at any moment with a couple of drops of blood leaking down his nose.
Everyone stared at them and knew there was a bromance that had started.
Btw, the mystery boy got Earth Element.

"Wind Element!"
"Work hard, your talent isn't bad with Wind Element." Xue Musheng encouraged him; however, he just wanted the class average to be better, so he can get more salary.
He looks down on his flip board. He has been tracking how many of each element has been awakened by the students:
Lightning Element: None
Fire Element: 1
Ice Element: 6
Wind Element: 9
Earth Element: 8
Water Element: 13
Light Element: 10
'Not bad of a group. Sadly only one Fire element. If I got another in my class, that would be very nice.' Xue Musheng tapped his pen on the single Fire Element awakened.
"Lastly, Mo Fan."
Mo Fan started paying more attention to the last couple of awakenings. 'Seems like nothing has changed, everyone got their same element. I should get Lightning and Fire elements.'
Mo Fan strolled up to the front. Expectedly, a comment was made. "Hey everyone, look! This man will lift your spirits up. If lucky, he will receive a Light Element. If not, it would be too late to pray to God. He will simply leave the school in shame." Zhao Kunsan captured everyone's attention to Mo Fan.
"Hey, why don't you just worry about your crappy Earth Element!!" Zhang Xiaohou immediately fired back at the fatty.
Mo Fan watched the clock. 'Is this the right time? Was it 1 minute too early?' Mo Fan was less worried about which element that he would awaken, but the time when he awakens them. If he was too quick or slow, everyone would see his dual-element talent. 'It would start an unneeded ruckus.'
'Hey author, you better make sure that I awaken at the right time.' He cursed at the author.
Mo Fan walked up to the front extra slowly and he purposely shook his hands a little during the awakening so he would appear nervous, but on the inside, he couldn't wait anymore and he hoped the timing was right.
Everyone chuckled at Mo Fan.
"Lightning ELEMENT!!" The sound came from a student in Class 7. The yell attracted the attention of Class 6 and 8. When everyone heard this, they stood up and bolted towards Class 7 like a group of reporters had just heard the juiciest gossip that they can write about.
The students flooded the hallway and watched a tallish kid wearing purple clothes as if he was destined to awaken the Lightning Element. Everyone both in and out of the class carefully watched the student's Lightning Element.
*zzzzz-pang. Tiny active sparks cracked.
The sparks seemed so dazzling and calm, but everyone knew how destructive one lightning bolt to the head can be.
A boy nudged the mystery boy near him and pointed out while chuckling. "Hey look at the Lightning kid, that is the main character there! Sorry mate looks like we are just fodders. Even if you awaken Fire Element, it would be very difficult to deal with him."
The mystery boy was crestfallen. Neither did he awaken the Fire Element nor he was the main character.
"By the way, I am Chen Bao." The boy extended his hand and introduced himself to the mystery boy.
"I am … Sun Xiang. Ahhh." Sun Xiang let out an annoyed, frustrated yell.
Others whispered to each other about who the Lightning mage was, and some 15year-old girls squealed as if they were doing a war cry for him.
Meanwhile, Mo Fan let out a relief that he got the right timing. After making sure no one was looking, Mo Fan calmly entered the Spiritual World to awaken his Lighting Element. 'Lighting, lighting, lighting. Come quickly to daddy! I can't wait to use you.'
The feeling of the new Star Cluster being birthed into his Spiritual World was familiar, and he felt a familiar touch of magic with the Star Cluster. Mo Fan turned to check the color thinking it was the Lighting Element, but suddenly his face looked like he just ate a turd.
"Why shadows?" Mo Fan cried out like a child that watched his candy just gotten taken away.
It was an element of the Dark Type. 'What the actual fuck author!!! Why are you giving me the Shadow Element!! This is not how the story went author!'
Mo Fan let out a big breath to calm himself down. 'Shadow element isn't bad, but the destruction of Lighting Element is so much better, but wait doesn't that mean I can't awaken my original elements?'
He looked forward to his second element. He waited for the second element, but he suddenly looked like a boy celebrating their birthday. 'Lighting Element!!!!! Author, you are forgiven for your past crime, but now people are going to know that I have the Lighting Element.'
Mo Fan didn't know how to respond when others saw him also awaken Lightning Element. 'No point in hiding I guess.'
As Mo Fan was going to boast his Lighting Element, the sudden lit up Awakening Stone surprised Mo Fan. A brightly glowing, fiery comet heads toward Mo Fan in the Spiritual World.
'Fire Element! Three Elements!??! My Mother! You know what author, you are the best.'
Words can't even describe Mo Fan's feelings because the three elements together basically made Mo Fan's start even more ahead of others. 'Duel Elements, haha. This time daddy has THREE ELEMENTS.'
When Mo Fan was awakening his element, the nearby classroom attracted all of Class 8's attention. Everyone heard that someone had awakened Lightning Element. The students from Mo Fan's class were admiring their neighboring class student, Xu Zhaoting. Xu Zhaoting has also awakened the Lighting Element. This created the uproar because Lighting mages are 1 in 1000 magicians; furthermore, Lighting mages had around 50 percent chance of getting to the Mid-tier level. While Fire Element is good, Lightning Element is like a blessing from the heavens.
When Mo Fan's classmates were praising Xu Zhaoting, Mo Fan was being on Cloud 9. Mo Fan thought about when he reached Mid Tier Mage, and he would have SIX elements. My god, six different elements. Mo Fan couldn't wait to cultivate all three of his elements.
Mo Fan was thinking why did he awaken three elements. Could it be Magic God...
"Hey didn't we forget a special character?" Zhao Kunsan announced that Mo Fan awakened nothing or a Water Element. "We should check on our elementless or water mage. Haha."
The students came back to check Mo Fan's elements. Mo Fan acted very casual and whistled. 'Nothing here to see, just a cool Fire Element.'
All of them were very surprised at Mo Fan being able to awaken Fire Element because there were now 2 Fire Element mages in Class 8. All the students now are respecting Mo Fan more because of the Fire Element. Mo Fan thought about showing them his Dual Elements, but he decided to wait until his showdown between Yu Ang.
Mo Fan turned to look at Mu Bai and Zhao Kunsan. It was hilarious, and Mo Fan could watch their faces twist all day long. Mo Fan could almost hear the cracking of their faces. Mo Fan walked to Mu Bai acting like he was going to greet Mu Bai, but Mo Fan stopped right in front of him, just him standing there ticked Mu Bai off. Mo Fan debated about giving the middle finger, but he decided to do so because Mo Fan didn't enjoy Mu Bai's young arrogant character. In the future, they are going to be bros.
Zhao Kunsan was about to go in, but Mu Bai just stopped him and walked past Mo Fan, ignoring him.
Xiaohou was cheering for Mo Fan in the background. "Mo Fan brother too good!"
Zhou Min and Xue Musheng both evaluated Mo Fan's talent with the Fire Element. Both of them reached the same conclusion. 'Mo Fan's element was better!'
Zhou Min had an indescribable face. She wished to have the best talent, but Mo Fan's was clearly better. 'Gotta work harder than him!'
When Sun Xiang saw Mo Fan awaken Fire Element thought: 'Why am I here?' While Chen Bao just quietly chuckled right next to him and watched his face turn white.
Xue Musheng quieted the students down and told them to return to their desks. He was going to tell them the steps in casting magic.

Next few days, Xue Musheng explained to the class how to become better in their magic ability.
Xue Musheng extremely pointed out "Deep Meditation for the first two months will establish the essential groundwork for all of you to control your stars. For each of you, you need to cultivate for 5 hours a day! Once you have finished the first step, you should see a change in your consciousness which would have your Star Cluster pop up. As you meditate, you can feel more stars inside the cluster would come alive. When you have 7 stars zooming around freely which means it is a sign of your ability to practice controlling the stars. When you are trying to control the stars, you are trying to make the stars obey your directions and make all 7 stars into a Star Path. The Star Path has two rings and a bright center; moreover, the first ring contains 4 stars and the second ring contains 3 stars. Your objective is trying to lock the stars on the rings, and controlling the stars will be a difficult process for all of you because the stars, in short, have different personalities, and they would respond differently when you would try to control it. Furthermore, most people can only practice controlling for 1 hour per week."
Xue Musheng bored the students, so he decided to connect a Star Path to show them the completed Star Path.
A luminous outline of Light Element came out of Xue Musheng's hand. It showed the bright center that he was talking about, and the two outer rings had 4 stars at the beginning, but as the teacher connected more stars, more stars came out on the rings.
The students were very intrigued by this. It didn't matter if it was Light Element, everyone attentively watched how Xue Musheng was connecting stars.
Just a couple of seconds, Xue Musheng had finished connecting all seven stars. He didn't cast the magic, but he showed the students about controlling stars. It had inspired some students to see how cool controlling magic would be.
Everyone was flabbergasted by their teacher because they thought that Xue Musheng can only talk and teach, but he had some strength in connecting stars.
Mo Fan was reminded of someone with Light Element. 'Hehe, I wonder how Zhao Manyan is doing?'
Almost 1 thousand kilometers away, a sixteen-year-old sneezed. He has a handsome face and was born into a rich family, and he had the face of a playboy with his golden hair. He thought. 'Who would be thinking about me right now? Is it my girlfriend?'
