31 Chapter 31 Confrontation with Eliav Baro

Looking at the bunch of youths from the Baro clan who had also come to train, Althea doesn't have any good feelings. 

" What is trash like you doing here?", asked Eliav Baro. 

Althea didn't miss the contempt and disdain in Eliav's gaze and tone.  Eliav Baro was the daughter of Lamberth Baro, youngest brother of Truth Baro. She had always disdained Althea because even though Althea was born with a damaged spirit seed, she had always received the clan leader's attention. Moreover, Althea was a shame to the Baro clan. As the only granddaughter of the Baro clan leader, she was at the bottom when compared to the descendants of the other seven clans. Althea's existence itself was a shame to them as others mock and insult them when they are outside using Althea's name.

As time passed by, all the younger generations of the Baro clan considered Althea as an eyesore. Althea knew about this very well but it can't be helped as she is also innocent on this matter.

Althea moved forward trying to block the Amethyst Hamster from their view. "What? You guys can come here but not me?"

"yo… looks like she is in a hurry to go see King Yama", said a young man in a mocking tone.

"What brother Mosha said is reasonable. Looks like she is tired of living", said Eliav with a sneer followed by muffled laughs behind them.

Althea didn't put this bunch of youths in her eyes. As someone who had lived two lifetimes, Althea was like a vast and deep ocean. Calm yet beneath that calm ocean no one knows how many secrets it holds and how deep it is, no one can fathom it. 

"Whatever my purpose is it doesn't concern my cousins and fellow brothers and sisters. Oh right, if I die here it would be the happiest news for all of you. Why are you so concern about me? Don't waste your energy on someone insignificant like me. I suggest it would be better if you guys save even the smallest energy inside your spirit seed as we are all aware of the dangers inside the hollow mountain range", said Althea with her lips slightly curled up.

Eliav was fuming with anger after listening to Althea's words. She couldn't hold back her anger and summoned her red spirit light in her palm. Energy fluctuation of mid-level strength soon spread out and those below mid-level quickly retreated few meters away from her, only Mosha was standing beside her.

"Althea is doomed.. tsk tsk.. sister Eliav had already broken through to the first stage of mid-level recently. She is now the youngest mid-level mage in our clan"

"Yeah, she is indeed a rare talent. Even if something happened, the clan leader will only choose to close his eyes. Between a trash and a genius, the clan leader will lean towards sister Eliav as it concerns the whole clan"

"That's true, even if the clan leader dotes on his granddaughter, he cannot punish a genius severely because of a trash"

As the youngster murmured among themselves behind the tree a few meters away from Althea and Eliav, a loud explosion sounded.

"You…. How did you block my attack", asked Eliav with her eyes wide open? She couldn't believe Althea easily canceled out her attack.

Mosha who was standing right beside Eliav had a face as if he had eaten a housefly. After a few breaths, he said in a hoarse voice, " Third stage of Low level!"

Behind them, the youngsters who had just witnessed the scene in front of them and had heard Mosha's words were dumbfounded. This wasn't the outcome they were looking forward to.

Eliav quickly recovered from the shock, "You are already at the third stage! No..wait that doesn't make sense, if you are really at third stage, you shouldn't be able to cancel out my attack"

The amount of energy she used when she attacked Althea contained nearly seventy percent of her total strength. So even if Althea was at fourth of the fifth stage, she could easily send her flying. As she was lost in her thoughts, she heard Mosha saying, " possibly she was hiding her true strength "

Althea didn't pay any attention to them, all she did just now was block Eliav's attack using a Finger Art Barrier infused with a sliver of flame dragon energy just like she did back at the starry inn when Walion Mori attacked her. Currently, her attention was on Amethyst Hamster, she couldn't help but frown as she noticed the Amethyst Hamster moving away from her quickly retreating in the bushes from the corner of her eyes. She knew that the Amethyst hamster had gotten out from the influence of her golden spirit light. Since she was only a beginner, she could only tame the beast for only a few minutes. She had planned to try communicating with the beast she tamed and also try out giving orders, but all this was ruined by the bunch of good for nothings who were standing in front of her. She couldn't help but frown, who knows how many days it will take for her to come across another low-level beast suitable for training her beast taming skills. 

"Althea, tell me exactly what is your true strength!", asked Eliav as she was not willing to accept the fact that Althea was now powerful enough to take head-on blows from her.

"what does it matter to you?", Althea truly was irritated.

"Your energy fluctuation just now was that of third stage low level, but I don't think that is your true strength because you were able to block my attack easily. Even those at the same level as me would not be able to cancel out the attack I send out just now so easily", said Eliav, she was trying to pry out Althea's true strength. She had a feeling that if they started fighting right now, Althea could easily exchange moves with her without falling at a disadvantage.

"it looks like Althea used a powerful defense technique just now and we are not aware of her true strength. If we make things difficult for her, clan leader might not be lenient to us like he did before", Mosha whispered in Eliav's ears. 

Althea heard what Mosha whispered in Eliav ears after all she had a sliver of divine level sense. 

At this moment, two young men emerged from the woods, " sister Eliav, we found the thing"

The two youngsters were unaware of the situation but when they spotted Althea they had a vague understanding of what just happened. 

Eliav threw a sidelong glance at Althea and said, "Considered yourself lucky today"

With that, Eliav left without even waiting for others. Mosha threw a glance towards the youths behind him signaling them to move. 

After everyone left, Althea was left alone again. 'I should have put on a disguise before coming out' thought Althea.

Althea sighed and took out a black outer garment from her bag and put it on. After that, she tied her hair in a high ponytail and put on a black veil. 

She did the same thing when she went to Rainbow Auction hall to conceal her identity. 

After everything was done, Althea left the place too. Unknown to her, after she left the place, another group of people came in the same place.

"Young Master, I think we are a little late. Those people had already left"
