Chapter 26- Road Trip With Him.

Today was one of those days that went by slowly and quite uneventfully for me. There were no meetings to attend and nobody visiting. Even Olivia has decided to stay still on her desk today. I just can not wait for the day to be over as I sat down on my desk going through yet another file. Around two pm, I heard a knock on my door, I quickly fixed my seating position before I called out a "come in", Aurora came in carrying a briefcase, she looked tired. 

"Hey, you" she said with a smile. I can't be any more grateful for this visit. Boredom was about to smmudder me.

"Aurora!!" I walked over to her bringing her into a tight hug.

"Are you okay?" she asked when I released her with her eyebrow raised in question.

"Can't I just be happy to see you?" I said with a smile plastered on my face. She shook her head at me before responding.
