"interesting" Aldrich could sense a headache coming; Light and Dark ores were the hardest to come by, and they both had to kill 100 E-rank demons themselves.

He summoned Noct and Lumi, hoping to somewhat meet the quota of killing demons.

"Noct has to Absorb, while Lumi has to kill". The requirements were quite the opposite.

Aldrich noticed another bunch of Ogres standing some distance ahead of him.

"Time to find out!" Aldrich signalled his Summons to attack the enemies.

Noct stepped forward as it condensed mana near its horn. Aldrich noticed that Noct's mana now had a golden glint to it. "Must be the effect of absorbing my mana",

Noct kept condensing mana till a massive Black Horn was created on its head. Luna also condensed mana as she created a White Horn on her head.

The two leapt forward, trying to slash the Ogres with their horns.

"Are they trying to imitate me?" Aldrich could see that Noct and Luna were trying to slash the Ogres in a similar way that he did.

"These two are trying to copy my sword techniques, amazing",

The two quickly finished the horde of monsters as they rushed towards Aldrich, rubbing their head against his feet.

"You two did well, but use your skills from next time", Aldrich looked at the two. He knew Noct and Luna were more proficient in Spells than Warrior-based attacks.

"Maybe once they evolve", Aldrich imagined Noct and Luna wielding swords, then quickly discarded the thought.

Aldrich walked through the Dungeon with his Summons, noticing that the number of enemies had drastically reduced.

"We must be near the end. I can sense only a few monsters left" Aldrich and his Summons picked up the pace as they stopped before two Ogres blocked their path.

Noct and Luna stepped forward as if wanting to prove their strength.

"Go on", Aldrich said, trusting his Summons.

Aldrich looked closely as Noct's form blended seamlessly with his shadow. With a low growl, he summoned shadows to encircle his paws, granting him enhanced speed and agility.

With a burst of dark energy, Noct darted forward, evading the ogres' lumbering strikes gracefully. In a blink, he appeared behind one of the ogres and launched a focused attack. Black tendrils of darkness erupted from his claws, ensnaring the Ogre's limbs, rendering it immobile.

"Wow", Aldrich was impressed with Noct's spells as he looked to his side to see what Luna was going to show him,

Luna, whose way of fighting was entirely different from Noct, began her dance of light. Her luminescent aura brightened the forest, and she raised her head, letting out a haunting melody that resonated with the heavens. A radiant halo of light enveloped her, infusing her with the essence of pure energy.

As the halo expanded, Luna's white fur became like a beacon, blinding the ogres and disorienting its senses. With graceful leaps, she moved with uncanny speed, leaving trails of glowing light behind her. She closed in on the second Ogre, unleashing energy beams piercing its thick hide, killing it.

Aldrich patted Noct and Luna, knowing that his Summons would be helpful for him later. He fed the two his mana, as he would need their help against the boss monster.

The three of them entered the centre of the jungle, and they came face to face with the Boss Monster, the Giant Ogre. It was a D-rank monster and twice the size of Normal Ogres.

"It's going to be fun", Aldrich licked his lips, readying his sword. "Noct and Luna, you two support me from behind", he said as he rushed towards the giant Ogre.

"KUAR", The Ogre roared as it swung the massive stick in his hand.

Aldrich leapt back, dodging the attacks, before jumping into the air, aiming for the Ogre's eyes.

The Ogre aimed for Aldrich, only for his attack to be deflected by two small spheres of mana created by Noct and Luna.

Aldrich didn't miss this opportunity as he went in for the attack, destroying both the eyes of the Ogre with his attacks.

"KARA" the Ogre roared, swinging mindlessly as it couldn't see anything.

"Aeon Spear", Aldrich said as a colossal spear appeared in his hand. He threw the spear, which pierced the furious Ogre's skull.

"KARGHHH", The Ogre furiously rushed towards Aldrich with a spear impaled in its skull. Its eyes had turned red, and mana violently surged through the Ogre, boosting its physical prowess.

[Boss monster has entered Berserk mode. It will deal 100 % more damage, but defence will be reduced by 30 %]

Noct cast a spell as vines erupted from the ground, trying to bind the monster, but the monster thrashed his club, destroying the vines and injuring Noct with his attack.

"You heal Noct; I will take care of it", Aldrich said to Luna as he distracted the Ogre's attention towards himself.

Aldrich held both swords tightly, remembering his training with his father. The Ogre slammed his club towards Aldrich, only for it to be parried by one of his swords.

Aldrich used his other sword and landed a barrage of thrusts imbued with mana, destroying one-half of the Ogre's body.

The Ogre was still under the effects of Berserk and had lost all its rationality. It tried to move its remaining body, only for its head to be smashed by Aldrich.

"It will be useful for her" Aldrich tightly held the ring before storing it.
