Family Dinner

Angel arrived at her parents villa which was located in a prosperous area. She took in the familiar surroundings where she grew up and felt her throat sour. She waved at Kelly who would come tomorrow to pick her up and entered the compound.

The housekeeper greeted her with a warm smile on her face and led her to the kitchen where her mother was cooking. Mrs. Jones one of favorite hobby is cooking personally for her family.

"Mom!" Angel went forward and hugged her from behind.

Mrs. Jones was not expecting her daughter's sudden affection. Angel was quite like a rebellious youth and loved to cause trouble. Although her family treated her like the pearl of their hands too much affection was never showed.

"Don't behave like a child you're too big for that". Though she said that the doting tone and smile on her face gave her away.

"I will always be a child for you". Angel replied spoilingly.

"Alright. Do you need something?" Mrs. Jones said while narrowing her eyes.

"Moommm!! Do I look like someone who behaves cutely to want something?"

" Of course you look like that." A deep voice replied.

They both turned to the direction of the voice and saw Angel's elder brother, Andrew standing there with a smile.

"Hey!" Angel pouted.

"Alright don't tease your sister", Mrs. Jones took the side of her daughter. "Let me finish cooking don't disturb me anymore."

Angel smiled cheekily and dragged her brother away to the living room. Angel's father, Anthen Jones was sitting on the sofa while reading news on the tablet. Seeing his children coming he smiled.

"Hey Dad." They both greeted and sat down.

"How's my baby doing?" Mr. Jones smiled gently and asked.

"Good". Angel smiled sweetly as well.

"Hey you forget your son whenever you meet your daughter." Andrew replied faking the tone of jealousy.

"Obviously because they loves me more." Angel sticked out her toungue.

"Behave as an elder brother". Anthen replied.

Andrew seemingly accustomed to this diffential treatment sighed helplessly. The three of them chatted a bit then Mrs. Jones called them for dinner.

After a long time eating dinner together with her family, Angel felt a kind of satisfaction. Last time she had a family dinner was before her engagement. After that she was too caught up with Brad to pay attention to anything else.

Others felt that Angel looked very happy today but took it as good thing and whole family was harmonious. After dinner, Angel went to her room.

Angel looked at the room where she spent her childhood and became caught up with nostalgia. Her phone lit up indicating an incoming message. She opened it and saw that crew of 'Guns and shooters' will hold a celebration party this weekend on compleetion of shooting and promtion will start from a day after that.

Angel played the role of second female lead and since this is her first major role in acting she had to be present in most of the promotional events. Going through the iternary once again she went off to sleep.

"You mean that Jack had an improvement from a single meeting?" A tall man with well built stature said from behind the desk. His face could be the description of perfection with coldness radiating from it. He narrowed his eyes seemingly in contemplation.

Butler Leo stood respectfully in front of his master while answering his questions. "After coming from the hospital I asked Dr. Zen to check up on young master and he said it is a good sign for the young master." Dr. Zen was a renowned child psychologist and their trusted family doctor so Butler Leo was excited after hearing the results.

"Did you check on them?" The man asked.

"I immediately ordered someone to check on them after coming to the mansion. The results should arrive by tomorrow." He knew this matter was important so he didn't dare neglect it.

"How's Jack doing now?"

"He's sleeping now. After coming back he didn't have much reaction and even obediently allowed the doctor to check up". Bulter Leo was quite happy.

The man sitting behind the desk revealed some surprises. Jack never cooperated with anything that involves doctors or medicines, this would probably the first time he heard that.

"Alright you may leave." He waved his hand.

Butler Leo didn't disturb him anymore and left quietly.
