THE UNKNOWN SPACE

NING Shufen's mouth twitched. The owner must be so neat as the space was so clean and the things was also packed in its order. Her Master must be a very clean guy that he has time to arrange things so neatly.

She always thought that her Master was an old man and also lonely, as he even acknowledge her as his disciple. What would be her reaction when she know that her very respected Master in her past life was a young man.

And also what will Master Mu's reaction would be? Will he get mad that he wasn't the only master she acknowledge? or will he just shrugged it off as they didn't officially did it?

Shufen was wondering in the unknown place, it was wide and she can't get through the upper floor. There was a hidden barrier that stopped her from entering, her every try was always fail but it did not discouraged her because she knew that she can and she will enter the upper floor.

She stared at the lonely space, she wondered how the hell would she get out of this space. Just like in what she tried earlier to enter the upper floor, She who tried to get out was also miserably failed.

She had wondered maybe Cheng knew that she will get stuck here. Time was unknown and she was anxious but she can't do anything but cultivate. As she was still cultivating. A sad melody was played. It became more sorrowful as it played, Shufen was still trying to maintain her posture but it was too hard. Closing her eyes, the melody became much more sad. Entering her heart, hitting it so hard. She can't understand but the melody was hitting her so much. As if it was making her feel the pain and sorrow.

The painful memories entered her mind, making her miserable as it is right now. The death of Bao, The neglection of her parents and their mental and physical abuse to her. It entered her mind at once. She tried to calm herself but the pain was making it hard to bear. Was the pain really that much? She asked herself.

She was disregarded and she thought that she was used to it. But then she wasn't. Her heart and mind wasn't stable.

The melody didn't stop even when she begged it to stop. Her consciousness was now slipping out of her. The sad melody became much more stronger as she fought hard not to faint. But then her body was weak and she couldn't do much with it.

She was still fighting to open her eyes when a faint shadow appeared. The melody stopped together with her consciousness, she fainted.

The faint shadow didn't move when her body collapsed at the green grass. It just stared at her unconscious body. Seconds later the shadow's hand moved in an incredible speed. A thick blanket appeared in his hands, he threw it to her and picked her up.

A bamboo bed appeared, he put her there and sighed. Yes, The faint shadow was Cheng, he left his divine necklace at the space so that he could still see what she's doing and guide her. He thought that the best way to mold a person was to make them experience the pain they felt in the past. They won't fear and won't have any weakness towards it.

Making them remember the pain will make them strong and wont avoid any fights, that was what he thought. He had experience those unwanted emotions and it made him went mad. Cheng didn't know how much pain she experienced, It was unknown to him. This kind of training was hard but it will make her think in her every move. Analyze every single move that she will do.

But whatever it was, he won't even think to ask about it. Every person has a secret, even him. Maybe for some person his type of training was an absolute torture however it is good. No one can critize his kind of teaching as no one had taught him. He taught himself, he fought the whole world just by himself. And he got stronger alone, without the help of anyone.

Cheng stared at her crying face, her relentless tears. His heart shattered in her every tears. It broke him and every second he want to stop the melody, he wanted to stop her pain and comfort her yet he didn't. He didn't because he can't bear to see her eyes, her eyes that's full of sorrow. How did such a little girl encounter such a painful past, it even made her sobs loudly, like she wanted everyone to know her pain and at the same time she also doesn't want to.

How much pain did the world gave her, she is just a little girl but they gave her so much pain than she could experience. How much sorrow did she felt that she was forced to mature in such a very young age. How long did her parents neglected her to not want to meet them.

Cheng saw her every move but he merely stared at her. He will only help in the sidelines, and won't appear in front of her. He will do anything for her and he doesn't know why. He doesn't know why but he wanted to protect her for the rest of his life and he will do it.

He will do anything just to make her safe. Even if the cost was his own life.
