27 CAVE

BOTH Ning Shufen and Cheng was inside the cave. It was the same cave that she found in her past life, she also wondered why did Cheng knew this and didn't look shocked when she mentioned the book.

It looks like he knew it too however he was making it look like he didn't. He clearly knew it but pretending not to, his body was comfortable walking to any traps like he knew the back of it.

"Cheng-ge"

Her voice was heard by him and he stopped. Cheng knew that Ning Shufen noticed something unusual to him.

"Hm?" He did not paid attention to her and was still walking to the traps.

"Nothing" Shufen sighed and decided not to talk. He has his own privacy and she has her own. She won't force someone to talk when they clearly don't want to.

She didn't notice his little smile when he heard her sigh. She only had to ask and he will answer, it's not like it was a secret to him. It will depend to the person he was talking to.

"Done"

Ning Shufen's mouth twitch. It was fast. All the traps was undid by him and the cave was also unusually at peace unlike in the past.

"Don't you want to ask?" He was hinting Ning Shufen that he will answer however she did not open her mouth until a wall cracked and a door opened and shocked her. She didn't know that.

"You only knew where the book at so I'll give that to you and find the others" Cheng hinted her that there are many more treasures in the cave aside the book that she had told him. He clearly knew the cave and it's secret.

Cheng sat and didn't move as he close his eyes and stopped moving. She was about to ask him but saw that he was already sitting and cultivating, he looks like he was sleeping in a sitting position but she knew that it wasn't. His spirit energy was calm, raging in his veins. She shakes her head, disappointed to herself. He asked her to ask but she didn't and it was her fault. Looks like she had to wait before the answer will be revealed.

She shut her mouth as she can disturb him, this man is just to careless. Who will cultivate in front of a person he just knew for some time now? He really trusted her to the point that he put his guard down and made her see his cultivation technique.

As time passed by, she was thinking that his technique was similar to the book, like it was made of it, but a lot better.

Ning Shufen decided that she will just look at the door that was recently opened by him. She was about to take a look but was sucked by it. There was a lout bang and the door closed and disappears, along with her.

As she disappears, Cheng opened his eyes and smile.

"I hope you can be stronger there and I'm sorry. You will be safe there." Cheng's eyes was now cold. Unlike the man earlier, he looks so different compared to earlier. He stood up and left some of his energy before turning around to leave.

As Cheng left the cave, It vanished. Along with Ning Shufen.

Cheng's eyes was sad but immediately turned cold. He has a mission to do and he have to lock her temporarily to make sure she was safe and he took advantage to it by making her stronger.

"I just hope you can manage to take it all, then my efforts will not be in vain"

The Master that she was searching for was Cheng. The master who accepted her in the past but did not made his appearance, but knew who she is.

Cheng was the person who helped her become stronger in her past life but when she became obsessed with the man she loved, he disappeared along with the cave but left some of his things to her.

She had searched for him for a very long time but she didn't even knew that he was in front of her. Joking with her and do things with her.

On the other hand, Ning Shufen was still shocked because of what happened. She was in her knees staring at nowhere. There was clearly a door there but it disappeared.

Confused, she stood up. It was a beautiful sight to see. Green grasses and a beautiful lake by the side of a weird tree. It has silver leaves and it's fruit was full of spiritual energy. She walked around the space.

Then she heard a familiar voice that made her stopped.

"Get stronger and we will see each other, My student"

It was deep and husky. Her tears welled up in her eyes, It was her Master. She longed to hear his voice again.

Her emotions got the best of her and the strength of her knees was gone, making her kneel. Her sobs was the only sound that could be heard.

"Do not be sad. We will meet again, personally this time"

Her mind was not stable and the words did not enter her mind.
