Hao Clan's Treasury

"Good!! Shen'er since you contributed this much to the Clan, you are allowed to choose an item in the Clan treasury."

"Yes, Father." Hao Shen respectfully replied.

After the Elders of the Hao Clan inspected all of the Dou Qi Manuals that Hao Shen had brought back from his training trip, the Hao Clan's Meeting came to an end.

When Hao Shen exited the Hao Clan's Estate's Main Hall, the sky was already dark, the Hao Clan's Meeting had dured more than five hours.

'Sigh, this type of thing really isn't for me...' Hao Shen was bored all along during the meeting, this was the first time that he had participated in it and he didn't want to participate in any other meeting anymore.

Hao Shen decided that he still had time to go search in the treasury, he had been granted an item from inside so he began to think about what he would take.

'I have multiple choices, I could take the highest ranked Fire Material and use it to make my Natural Fire Weapon evolve, the highest ranked material here should at least be at Rank 7, if I use it I should be able to evolve my Natural Fire Weapon to Peak Rank 3 in one go, one had to know that Natural Fire Weapon needed an extraordinary amount of Fire Materials to evolve, even using a Rank 7 Material couldn't make it evolves to Rank 4 from Rank 0.

I could also take some high ranked Water or Wood Magical Core to speed up the growth process of the multiple Medicinal Plants inside of the Millenary Jade Garden. Since the Hao Clan has existed for more than five hundred years, the highest ranked Magical Cores should also be Rank 7, bah this is for the known history of the Hao Clan at least, if I could find our Dou Di Ancestor Inheritance I should be able to become a Dou Di in less than fifteen years, the problem is that I don't know where it is situated, sigh, most probably it is somewhere in the Central Plains, since that was the place that where the Hao Clan's Ancestor lived.'

Hao Shen had discovered in his grandfather private library that the Hao Clan lived in the Central Plains of the Dou Qi Continent more than three thousand years ago, in the whole Hao Clan there were probably only four peoples who knew of this, they were Hao Shen, Hao Tian, Hao Lei, and Hao Jian.

'Or I could take some rare Medicinal Plants and stock it in the Millenary Jade Garden for it to grow, and then I'll use it to refine some pills in the future, but once more, the highest ranked Medicinal Plants should be Rank 6, and before I can refine a pills as High Ranked as that I still have some training to do.'

Hao Shen continued to think about what he'll take and soon he stood before the Hao Clan's

Treasury's Gate.

Two guards were standing before the Gate, they were the Elite Guards of the Hao Clan, this type of guards only protected three places, the Hao Clan's Treasury, Martial Library, and the Medicinal Garden.

Hao Shen's father had told him that to become an Elite Guard, one had to have the cultivation of at least a 6-star Dou Ling, these guards only answered to three persons in the clan, they were the Patriarch, the Old Master, and the Head Elder, in this generation, they were Hao Tian, Hao Lei, and Hao Jian.

"Young Master, sorry but we can't let you enter if you don't have the Patriarch's Token." One of the Elite Guards guarding the Treasury's Gate came toward Hao Shen while saying this.

"I know, don't worry I have it on me, here it is." Hao Shen took out the Patriarch's Token and showed it to the Elite Guard.

"Then you can go inside of the treasury Young Master."

"Thanks." Hao Shen then went in the Hao Clan's Treasury.

'Hmm, this guard seems pretty young but he is already a 6-star Dou Ling or higher, this is interesting, he should be one of the geniuses of the side family, it's pretty sad that they can't take any official position in the clan... Bah, I'll just change that when I become the Patriarch.'

Hao Shen started to focus on the things that were inside of the treasury.

The Hao Clan's Treasury was divided into different parts, and in each part were stocked a type of thing, for example, the room where Hao Shen currently stood contained the Magical Cores.

'Sigh, a Magical Core is always easier to find that a Fire Material, I'll take a Fire Material this time.' Hao Shen made his choice and went in direction of the Materials' Room.

He quickly reached it since it was just at the left of the Magical Core's Room, inside it, Hao Shen directly went toward the highest ranked materials, he was surprised to see that there were multiples Rank 7 Material, and fortunately there was even one Fire Attributed Material amongst them, it was an Earth-Fire Mythril Ore, if used to craft weapon it could create a weapon up to Rank 7, it was considered rare even in the central plain, this was a Weapon that could be used by people up to the Dou Zun realm.

Luckily the access to the treasury wasn't allowed to anyone other than the Patriarch, of course, if the Old Master Hao Lei wanted to come inside, nobody would dare to stop him.

Hao Shen took the Earth-Fire Mythril Ore and stocked it in his Storage Ring, he then looked around each room to see if he could find something useful, and it was once more a good guess, he found a Stone Plate.

'What is it with my luck, another stone plate, it should have something stored inside.'

In this type of Stone Plate, one could record anything he wanted, Text, Map, Dou Qi Skills, Dou Qi Method, everything could be recorded if one used this type of thing.

Hao Shen sent his Soul Power inside of the Stone Plate and felt a rush of information entering his brain.

'Sigh, I can't say anything about my luck, I got a Di Class Dou Qi Skill inside of a random Stone Plate, unfortunately, it's a Saber Dou Qi Skill so it's useless for me, but it should be useful for grandfather and father.' Hao Tian and Hao Lei used the Saber as their weapon so this should be useful, one had to know that the Hao Clan possessed a Di Class Mid Level Dou Qi Skill, what's more, it was a Lightning Attributed one so it was considered quite rare, but it was a Fist Dou Qi Skill so it was pretty difficult for the practitioner using weapon but now that Hao Shen got his hands on another Di Class Saber Skill things will start to change, his grandfather battle prowess would grow by a lot compared to what they were currently. The Dou Qi Saber Skill was named Ruler's Three Slash and could be considered very close to the Di Class Mid Level in terms of power.

After Hao Shen got his hands on the Dou Qi Skill, he exited the Hao Clan's treasury and went towards his grandfather residence, he had decided to give him the skill now.

He soon arrived there and found his grandfather and grandmother peacefully looking at the sky, Hao Shen then approached them.

"Shen'er, do you need my help with something??" Hao Lei asked while smiling toward Hao Shen.

"Grandfather, I found something extremely useful for you in the Clan's Treasury, so I came to give it to you directly after exiting."

"Ohhh, and what is it?"

"This, take it and inject your Soul Power inside, you will understand after that Grandfather." Hao Shen took out the Stone Plate and gave it to his grandfather.

Hao Lei did as he was told and his eyes became shocked.

"Hahaha, Good, Good, with this the Clan's Rise is assured, you did a good job Shen'er." After that Hao Lei and Hao Shen spoke some more before Hao Shen went back toward his courtyard.

When Hao Shen arrived at his courtyard he saw Xiao Hei sleeping on his bed, he sat cross-legged and took out the Natural Fire Weapon from his Storage Ring.

'Then let's start the fusing process.' Hao Shen took out the Earth-Fire Mythril Ore and placed it on the Sword, the moment the Earth-Fire Mythril Ore touched the Sword it disappeared immediately and the Natural Fire Weapon began to glow.

After an hour had passed, the glow disappeared and the Natural Fire Weapon became visible once more, this time it"s presence had increased by a lot and it was now a Peak Rank 3 Weapon, it was very near the Rank 4.

"Good, since you became a true Weapon during a starry night you will be named, the Starlight Eruption Sword." Hao Shen then laughed happily.
