After I yanked her hands away I ran into the forest and I shifted into my wolf's form after removing my clothes and it clung onto my shoulders as I removed it. My clothes will shred into pieces if I shift them. I howled in pain as I ran around and the old memories of Ethan and I started resurfacing. I shook my head trying to get rid of the memories and pain from the heartbreak but the run didn't seem to stop anything so I increased my speed.

I stopped panting really hard from exhaustion but the pain was still there and tears dropped from the eyes of my wolf as I lay on the ground. There was nothing I could do to stop the memories and it keeps on coming. It was just as if it happens yesterday.

In the past five years, I worked hard just to gain the trust and love of my mate. All I need is just his approval. I worked hard using my brain just to learn how to manage the pack. I used my brain to solve any matter when dealing with other packs. The pack become more and more powerful because of me but with all that he didn't fall for me. I remembered the exact word he said to me the night we got married, he told me he will never love with me.

Any time I tried to show him my good sides he would give me disgusting looks and I was hurt but instead of giving up on him, I continued trying. I shook my head painfully as I thought about the day we visited the pack's doctor. After the doctor did some checks on me and found out I'm infertile he changed his attitude toward me and became colder and distant from me. I should have stopped loving him since but I couldn't and I felt myself getting closer to him. Now he made me go through heartbreak by having an affair with my best friend. I didn't expect him to betray me. I thought I was making progress but it was a lie.

I sighed heavily as I shifted back to my human form and I wore my clothes. I walked back home and I packed my belongings into a small bag. I made up my mind to leave the pack, it will be a shame on me if I continue staying in the pack after she was going to be made Luna.

I walked toward Zara, her eyes snapped up immediately she felt my presence and she stared at me confusedly when she saw I carried my bag.

"Good evening, Luna" she greeted and I laughed painfully at her greeting. She hasn't heard about Elena being pregnant with my mate.

" I don't deserve the title 'Luna'. A Luna who couldn't give birth to an heir who would take over the pack after the death of the alpha" I muttered painfully with a laugh.

" Don't say that dear, your time will soon come and by the way why are you with this" she questioned, staring at the bag in my hands and I smiled painfully.

" I'm leaving the pack for good," I said and she stood up from the couch in shock. She stared at me in awe and her mouth was opened slightly.

"Why will you leave?" She questioned and I sighed heavily as I took deep breaths and hibiscus with tears in my eyes which I cleaned before it fell.

" I have been living with Ethan for the past five years and I was unable to produce an heir for him but his lover is pregnant with his child," I said and she gasped in shock, she stared at me like I have grown two heads.

" That can't be true," she said and I scoffed painfully.

" The person who gets pregnant for him is no one other than my best friend, Elena " I replied and she looked at me with wide eyes.

" I can't believe Elena can do what she does because I saw her as a good friend but now she has shown her true color now," she said and I smiled painfully.

" I was also surprised when I found out she could do a thing like that to me," I said and she nodded. She hugged me suddenly, patting my back and I could tell I seriously needed the hug.

"It's going to be alright," she said, patting my back softly. I sniffled as I hibiscus and as she continues patting my back.

" Cry it all out," she said and I cried hard on her shoulder. I seriously need a shoulder to cry on and she lent me hers. I couldn't help but feel grateful to her. I wonder how my life would have been if not for her and I will forever be grateful to her.

I disengaged from the hug and faced her staring at her with a sad smile displayed on my lips.

" I'm sorry I have to go. '' I said to her and she shook her head sideways, not wanting to let me go. Although she might be my old maid but she is just like a mother to me, she was there whenever I needed comfort. She helped me pass the trial of being an Omega and a Luna.

Ethan's smell filled my nose and my anger rose as I thought of what he did to me, all the love I had for him vanished immediately. Zara shifts back with fear immediately after she smelt his scent but I cared less. He opened the door suddenly and closed it back producing a loud bang, he stared at me angrily and I thought of what made him angry to make a dramatic entrance. If I was before I would have wanted to know what happened and that he was angry but now all I could feel was anger and hate toward him.

" Good afternoon, Alpha," Zara greeted him but he ignored her greetings and I felt my anger rise. He looked at me with fire in his eyes.
