The killing intent that burst out of Liang Chen was such that those around him were uncomfortable and instinctively wanted to get away from him. Liang Chen vowed in his heart that he must avenge his friends, a debt like this must be repaid.

"Brother Zhao, is the chief?"

When Zhao heard this question from Liang Chen his face twisted but he still replied 

"the chief is inside the main hall"

Immediately Liang Chen heard this he started walking towards the hall and although Zhao wanted to stop him and give him more information before going in he was too late as Liang Chen had already passed the door.

Within the great hall was a chaotic view that entered Liang Chen's eyes. The hall was a complete mess and there was disorder as things strewn everywhere. 

Among the chaos, he spots Chief Ouyang, a seasoned warrior who has guided the blood saber gang with wisdom and strength. Ouyang, usually a towering figure exuding confidence, now lies in a state of grievous injuries. His face was etched with pain, reflecting the toll of a fierce battle. Looking at the wounds on Ouyang's body Liang Chen came to one simple conclusion. These people were looking to annihilate the Bloodsaber gang and its members.

"How did the chief receive these injuries"

Liang Chen understood that in a battle where Zhao, Mei Lin, and all the other members came out unscathed it was impossible for Chief Ouyang to be this injured after all he was the strongest in the blood saber gang and was even stronger than the leaders of the other two gangs.

Hearing the question yuan hurriedly gave a response

"huh? Yeah, so it's like this. When the problems started the chief arranged for a meeting with the other two leaders which they agreed to. The chief thought that their declaring that the blood saber gang should sign over their property and leave the city was just part of a greater scheme to get some benefits from us but who would have thought that what waited for the chief there was an ambush. He went with only two other brothers. They were completely outnumbered and the two that went with the chief died in battle but they managed to make an escape route for the chief. If he did not escape when he did…"

When Yuan finished explaining this he felt some relief and the pressure he was feeling gradually dissipated. He did not know why he felt so tense but he knew the source was liang chen. He thought that something was different about Liang Chen but he could not quite figure out what it was yet.

Hearing the response from Yuan, Liang Chen did not say anything but slowly turned around and headed outside, picked up a saber from the rack by the door, passed through the gates, and slowly disappeared into the darkness.

Liang Chen headed straight for the Tiger Fang gang HQ because he knew that just like them who had gathered all their members at their HQ for security and strength in numbers, so too would the Tiger Fang gang. It had become quite dangerous for members of these three gangs to wander the city alone not to talk of staying at home alone. 

About fifteen minutes later, as he expected the members of the tiger fang gang were all in their HQ but what surprised him was that even the members of the silver wolf gang were present there too, soon however he understood their intention. They did not want to be separated and be attacked individually should the blood saber gang come for revenge in the night.

"just as well, saves me some time"

None of the people here posed any threat to Liang Chen and thus he did not care whether they were a single group or two, he would still kill them all.

As Liang Chen was observing he saw a guard hurry inside the hall and report something to Leader Shin. This man was shin jian and he was shin tu's father. Hearing what was reported to him he yelled

"tu'er? My son is dead?"

It was clear that he was still in shock at the death of his only son. It took him only a short time to regain his senses however and he immediately got up and turned to the corner of the hall

"I am going to avenge my son, Brother Lang will you help me?"

The brother Lang he spoke to was the leader of the silver wolf gang.

"of course, who killed him?"

"it's one of the bastards from the blood saber gang Liang Chen. He returned to the city just today after being absent for three months…according to reports he is now at their HQ"

Lang smiled and said "We can just use this opportunity to eradicate them all"

Shin Jian agreed and added "But I want Liang Chen. I want to kill him myself"

"no need to go look for me, I am already here"

As this voice landed everyone in the hall turned and looked at a stout young man who had a very handsome face but only that now it was twisted in pain and anger.

Liang Chen did not say anything and began attacking directly, what was the point of talking to dead people

The saber began slashing and with every swing of the saber a head will fall. The precision and speed of the killing was uncanny. No one expected they would provoke such a killing god. He did not stop for any reason and went straight for the chiefs and made quick work of them before turning to the rest. It took less than an hour for Liang Chen to end all life here and within the hall all that could be seen was blood. It painted the walls, ceiling, and floor, and in the center of the room was a man bathed in blood looking like a young blood war god.  Liang Chen was in thought, thinking of his brothers who had lost their lives, and even though he had killed the culprits it still did not reduce the pain he felt in his heart.

"may we meet again"

He said this after some time and then left. It was only till noon the next day that news of the massacre swept Purple Leaf City like wildfire. Everyone knew it must have been done by the blood saber gang but no one dared to say anything. They knew another thing and it was that the blood saber gang was about to rise.
