161 Invasion (Part 1)

I appeared at the top of Stark Tower, the luscious interior furniture contrasting the sunlight seeping in from the windows. Looking around i found an eclectic jumble of metal parts and various other detritus.

'It looks like he's back to smithing again.'

"Haha, Emelia, haven't seen you in a while. What brings you to my abode conqueror of the world?"

I grimaced at the nickname but quickly tried to hide it, I noticed my attempt failing moments later when a sarcastic grin came onto his stupid face. 'Fucker...'

"Thought I'd come and bring you a present and free citizenship into Atlantis, never mind though, it seems you aren't really wanting it..."

"Hey, hey, hey! Don't run away! I love presents, I'm sorry okay, it was just too easy to be sarcastic."

"Heh."

He groaned slightly as he went over to the bar and wanted to pour himself some rum. I felt slightly pissed that he hadn't recognised some of my presents so i teleported him to the couch causing him to grouchily whine.

"Hey! What was that for!?"

"Here dickhead."

I dropped the Block 42 Kalimna Cabernet Sauvignon Ampoule wine into his lap, the bottle drawing his attention and then his awe as he read the label several times. Money wasn't an object to him but this bottle of wine required more than money, it required connections, ones he did not have and had in fact burned.

"How did you get this?"

"I just got it."

'Heh, Formagenesis is really good! Be amazed!'

Not hesitating he stood up and grabbed wine glasses, bringing two over for me and him to enjoy. He carefully took the bottle and opened it, trying not to spill any at all and began to pour the liquid ruby liquid that was the wine into the glasses. I stopped myself from laughing when he was acting very careful as it was completely opposing his usual personality, the only thing holding me back being his kindness in getting one for me too.

"That doesn't explain anything but i'll just ignore that." He leaned back with his glass and took a delicate sip and swirled the wine around his mouth.

I sat back on the opposite side of the table and picked up my own, drinking it casually in comparison to his experienced and fine-dining way of drinking it. My actions caused him to roll his eyes but he just ignored them and continued to drink whilst the sounds of the city below punctured the open door to the outside balcony garden.

"So... Ahhhu, what have you been doing whilst I've been away Tony?" I sighed after taking a drink of the wine, it definitely deserved its title as one of the best wines. 

"Not much, been trying to experiment with Nano-technology and have been upgrading my suits from pure technology. At some point you may have to teach me some magic..."

I laughed a little at his request but soon began to ponder over it.

"Could you hold your hand out and say {Waterball}, exactly like i said it?"

He followed my instruction and there was a slight movement of water in the atmosphere but it very quickly changed back into a gas, this was all unnoticeable to him.

"Seems it won't work... Bummer, all well." He took another sip.

"No, you do have the ability, you just haven't fully awakened your mana and judging by your ability to affect your surroundings with magic, despite not have so much as one bit of active mana in your body, your talent is quite intriguing. Maybe i could teach you runes."

He recoiled from his drink and had eyes as if he was a little kid in a candy shop. He settled his glass down onto the table before beginning to speak.

"Would you mind!? I'd love to learn that! The suit we made previously was such a masterpiece that i haven't been able to exceed its capabilities."

Just as i was about to answer i heard a massive explosion in the distance and the screaming of thousands of people. More explosions began to rock the city as the glass that was on the table shattered and dropped the priceless wine all over the wooden table.

Me and Tony stood up, looking out from our vantage point. Bright purple arcs of energy struck buildings and glass shattered. Below, yellow and orange explosions sung into the streets of Manhattan as cars were thrust into buildings and into the air. 

"Tony, get your suit, I'll go and check what the fuck is going on."

I finished speaking and very quickly a massive rainbow cone of light shot from the sky and landed on the outside balcony of Stark's tower. Smiling somewhat I teleported out to the balcony and watched as Thor and Loki stood there in full battle-attire, ten Asgardian soldiers spreading our around the Bifrost's exit, the Bifrost stopping a couple seconds later.

"Hey, Thor and Loki, been a while!"

"Haha! Lady Emelia! It is good to see you! We have heard tales from Heimdal of your great success in beating the nations that make this planet, you must tell us of this later!"

"Good evening my fair lady, i must apologise for my brother's crass manners."

They were all in their usual armour, Loki sporting his horned armour and Thor in his spangled silver scale male. Another series of explosions rocked the city as from the sky several large Chitauri ships released snake-like troop carriers and weapons blasts. Unfortunately for America i had just wiped out its military strength, for the most part, therefor they couldn't respond to the threat easily.

Seeing these ships and vessels i sent a message off to Aurélie.

'Aurélie, grab an Asgard ship and come over to New York, do it as quickly as possible.'

'Yes Mistress! Thy will be done!' 

The communication cut off as i was in stunned contemplation of where she had learnt that fraise. 'Wait, the internet... Ok, its fine...'

"Thor, Loki, I have aid on its way, they will deal with the ships we just have to deal with the ground forces."

Just as i finished speak i saw a black gunship cross over head, shooting down several scooter-like flying contraptions with a Gatling gun. In the next moment Cap dropped from the sky and super hero landed onto the balcony, followed by Natasha who swooped towards me with her arms out.

Taking the offer gladly I held my hands out and caught her more softly than i think she thought i would. In the next moment I held her like a princess from a Disney story, good Disney, not shitty Disney. The woman herself was frustrated that she failed in humiliating me but also blushed deeply when she noticed the position she was in.

"Hello Natasha, long time no see! I did notice however that i seem to not have lost my touch with women." I grinned as the Loki chuckled, Thor laughed uproariously and Tony, who had just finished getting his suit on, wheezed.

"Hu, Hu, HU... Emelia, you never get old!"

"HAH? How did you know?"

The laughing continued for a little while until i felt a pinch on my breast as Natasha wanted down. Seeing as how this was hilarious but ultimately time consuming i placed her down on her feet, secretly dropping an invitation into her slim, tight, elastic pants.

"Welcome i suppose, although Natasha doesn't need much more of an introduction." (Tony)

"S-shut up." (Nat)

"Hah! This will be very fun!" (Thor)

"Father help us all, were all going to die with this idiot beside us." (Loki)

"Nice to meet you Tony Stark, i don't think we've had the pleasure of meeting?" (Cap)

"Nah, i saw you when you were a popsicle but I guess that doesn't count." (Tony)

They all began to speak amongst themselves for a few more moments. Deciding that this was taking way too long I unveiled my wings which were a mix between Crimson and white at this moment and thrust up into the sky and began to chase down several flying bikes.

My powers were way too powerful for this level of enemy so I drew my lightsaber, Void, and began to carve a path through the hundreds of flying bikes. Explosions and heat waves whooshed past me and several people as I swooped down through one of the streets and landed, quickly moving close into the torso of one Chitauri and targeting his head, or zone 1 in Force User combat. Within a second i had entered is Sai Cha with my lightsaber and decapitated the alien. Recovering from this I spun and pivoted on my left leg swing backwards and striking out towards another alien's torso, catching it with a nasty horizontal slash with my lightsaber that had it screaming in pain before dying, the creature's organs spilling out and melting into a pile of goo.

I then pulled on my Anima Mundi and powered myself, allowing for supernatural speeds way beyond what was considered normal, even for gods. I ran one hundred meters in less than a second and slashed out as i went, absolutely abolishing every form of Alien defence as i went. Every now and again i would gain the focus of an aerial convoy of the aliens' bikes in which i would slap my wings towards them and countless feathers would soon consume the force.

Just as I was sinking Void into the face of one of the Chitauri I felt static in the air increase as Thor dropped a massive lightning bolt directly onto the head of a troop carrier. With my senses i also saw Loki using his sorcery to vanquish several troops at once as he hid in the background and ate an ice-cream, his illusions baiting the aliens into shooting at each other. I laughed as i instinctually parried an energy blast with Void and deflected it back to its source, dropping an alien from the side of a building.

To say that this battle was more intense than any she has really been in, would be wrong as fighting Voldemort when she was still weak was very confronting, however, this was the largest so far.

A massive round of blasts ushered out from the bottom of the Chitauri Space Ship, laying waste to several skyscrapers and blocks of New York. One came towards me and i simply caught it with my hand and proceeded to eat it, my Quasar Siren nature humming in a sense of satiation at eating this energy. 'Oh they fucked up... This shit is yummy.'

Stopping my speed my wings spread out, all of them on display for everyone to see, and then shunted downwards as my body shuttled through the air to intercept another energy blast. Going in front of it i caught it and ate it again, the satiation still there but slowly disappearing. Making it my mission, i soon intercepted each and every orbital bombardment from the ship and ate them. With the attacks not reaching the ground anymore the fighting on the surface picked up, more and more troop carriers piling out from the ship.

Steve was currently working with Nat and Tony to keep the streets cleared and save as many people as they could. Arrows began to rain down from one of the skyscrapers as Hawkeye began to shoot into the swathe of aliens. Some arrows exploded, others merely stunned the aliens long enough for someone else to kill it. It was efficient. Smiling from the coolness of being a part of the Avengers at this moment I flew over behind Thor and stopped a beam of energy impacting him, eating it before it could and then throwing Void at the alien, pulling it back to my hand with Anima Mundi.

"HAHAHA! THIS IS GREAT! EMELIA, THANK YOU!" 

Thor in this universe seemed a lot more battle hungry and crazy but I could sympathise with the chaos of battle and his mood so I simply nodded and smiled as I threw my lightsaber in an arc and sliced through the torsos' of ten Chitauri. Some Citizens ran for their lives whilst others grabbed their guns and began to fight back against the alien threat. Grenades and bullets rained across the city as many of the citizens that carried fire arms fought to protect their city, their homes. It was such and American moment that I couldn't help but blast a classic 'Merican' Song, a chuckle escaping my throat as i did so.

The sound blasted into the skies above New York as the gun fire began to increase more people fighting harder at the awesome track they were just given to slaughter Aliens to.

Tony was laughing his ass of as he flew through the air, his black and gold suit shooting out beams of energy, that were as thick as an Elephant's legs, into troop carriers. The armour of said carriers melting within seconds and pouring into the holes made by the lasers.

...

Steve was currently bashing a Chitauri over the head with his enhanced strength, grabbing its head and throwing it into the sky to disrupt one of the flying bikes in the sky.

He didn't know when this song was created but it sure as hell was crass and filled with swears. He didn't say anything about it however as he also felt the spirit of the song and used it to strike the privates of an alien and throw said alien into three of his friends.

...

Thor didn't know anything about this song or this country really but he liked the idea of music blaring over a battlefield like a play's chorus but on a battlefield. Mjolnir smashed into another row of Chitauri as he wrestled with one of the troop carriers.

...

Loki didn't care, he just sat back and watched as foolish imbeciles killed themselves and each other through his tricks.
