Wolf Within The Flames

His eyes were linked to his Astral Ability giving him quite a few abilities with them, one being able to see ripples in the world where Astral energy had been even if it was concealed or disappeared with time.At first when he unlocked this ability he had almost been overwhelmed and completely lost his sight for a long period of time. Nowadays though he had finally gained some control over it and could see again. "Now what do we have here." Looking at the paths that were carved in the air from residual energy. Examining it he tried to figure out any clues he could but he didn't even recognize what element it was at first.

"An element I haven't seen before, that's rare...but it seems familiar in a way."

For the most part he had the power to look at anyone's element before they ever even used it or had it so the amount of elements he had seen was fairly vast and within such a large pool of swirling colours once in a while he found one that didn't quite fit in with his knowledge. "What others call rare elements and this is most definitely one." He just didn't know which one but he had seen it before at least. Watching the paths in the air dance around for a little longer he searched his memories trying to recall it. "It seems so vicious that it has to be easy to remember." Each element he saw had a different personality or a way it acted that usually linked it to people and with one as active as this it shouldn't be too hard to remember.

"Space, Time, Spirit, Control, Mental, Light...Oh."

Stopping there it finally occurred to him what it probably was. "Darkness." Gritting his teeth slightly he almost felt like slapping himself for forgetting such an important Element but it had been so long since it had happened. "So another one has showed up, How does this one plan to ruin my life?" The last time he saw Astral Darkness in action his whole village was destroyed and he was forced to wonder the world with no family left. "That thing...." He could recall the blades that extended from it as it ran rampant or how it nearly caused him to go blind after it slashed at his face. "The day it awoke." His ability was forced into the world way too early for anyone all because of that thing and what it did to him.

Feeling the anger and despair of that day rush back to his head he forced it out of his mind. "I can't let another of those freaks roam the world." Tightening his fists he calmed himself down as he turned around and waited for his scouts to report back with the people they found. "I'm surprised I found one here." Unable to get his past out of his head that image of a man covered in his blades flashed through his mind on repeat while impatience threatened to explode within, even the people near him could feel something off with him and chose to take a couple extra steps back then normal in fear of what might happen to him. Generally he was someone they never saw lose control except on a few rare occasions and some had learned the hard way not to get in his way during those times. The last person who did ended up getting punched through a wall and left with multiple broken bones barely alive.

After that day people made it a point to avoid him on bad days. Dealing with someone in the Sixth Stages level of strength wasn't possible for any of them. "The Silent Blade." The name people had started to call him over the past year with his surge in strength and constant wins in their Clan tourneys. He didn't say much words and used a small dagger as a weapon while not really showing many emotions especially when he fought people. He became a mask of silence even if someone broke his bones, He didn't make a sound. That was probably the first day his name started to spread, when one tough guy who managed to hold his own against him ended up snapping his arm in two in the span of seconds but he didn't even blink or let out a slight sound. That image sent shivers down their spines just remembering it. To be able to withstand that much pain without so much as flinching was too much for them.

"The Silent Blade....I'm just me. Laven, nothing more."

Without his teacher that found him after he stumbled out of the village ruins alone in the world he would have died long ago but with his help and guidance he was able to rebuild his life from the ground up and find a new place to call home. "And yet." Scanning the eyes of the people around him he lightly sighed not to sure what to do. "Friends?" He never made any of those, he only seemed to be able to make more and more enemies or people more scared of him no matter what he did. "This world." Remembering his parents last words he took a deep breath as the sounds of footsteps entered his ears again. "Is unfair." Turning to the door he watched as around ten or so extra people showed up slightly afraid as he walked up to them.

"Welcome."

"What do you want from us!"

Looking at the man in red hair speak out first he assumed he was the leader of most of them and the others seemed to be fine with him speaking for them. "Cowards." Ignoring that thought he examined him as his strands of Astral Energy swirled around his body. "Heh, Fitting." Looking at the Astral Fire that radiated from his whole body he slightly smiled at such an obvious choice for him well he opened his mouth to speak.

"I just want to ask a couple questions."

Hearing such a calm tone the red haired man flinched a little bit confused after being dragged here so forcefully. "What's going..." Looking at the room around him he counted up the bodies in his head as thoughts filled his head before he took a step in front of the green haired girl beside him just in case. "If he thinks I'm a pushover he's got another thing coming to him." Putting up an aggressive stance, he was prepared.

"Then ask them."

Enjoy.
