The City Of Landelt

"Eh, did you say something Relia?"

"Nope."

Brushing Xilo off she shut herself up as she continued to help Xelfia. "Well no matter, I don't know everything after all." Throwing that question into the back of her mind she focused on the rampant energy that was boiling in Xelfia's body. Patiently she settled it down one area at a time as best she could while also making sure her instincts were numbed. It took hours to do one area and if Xelfia acted up over everything it would only cause her more work. Lettin the night pass on she used the others voices as background noise.

"Ahh right I forgot to ask where's Felli?"

With only eight currently there he thought Felli had gone off to fetch something but with hours passing Xilo still hadn't seen her return so he decided to mention it. He expected a pretty instant answer from everyone but silence dominated over their chatty little group once he asked that. A little confused, he heard Zilan clear his throat once before he spoke up. Putting his attention on him he petted Xelfia's head as his body tensed up slightly before deflating.

"She's not here, she went missing. We'll you were passed out. Some of us checked the area quickly but we didn't find her. My guess is she walked off on her own."

"So she wandered off on her own in her current condition and you just let that happen?"

"Xilo I know you're worried but knowing her she probably doesn't care. She's just that kind of person."

A part of him knew Felli wouldn't stay with him however he still wasn't happy to hear it so soon especially when they all seemed so calm about it.

"That's not...an excuse."

"Maybe but we never even saw her appear here with us so she could be anywhere. It's just not worth looking for someone that doesn't want to be found. She can move around at a quick pace with her teleporting so I bet she's going back to her home city. I'm sure she's fine."

Accepting Zilan's words Xilo didn't have much else to say about it as he turned to Tearia who was currently frowning beside him slightly. Ever since Xelfia showed up she had been keeping her distance from him and he wasn't unaware of that. Right now however he chose to let it be, there was a lot he wanted to talk about and say with Xelfia and even Tearia but he needed to talk with Zilan's group too. After the dust had settled with them then he could handle all of that. "I'm sure she's sad about Felli..." Drawing in a long breath of fresh air Xilo looked at the fire in between them all as he asked a question.

"What's the name of her city called?"

"Huh? Why-wait no,no,no you can't be serious man. Whatever you're thinking, push it out of your head right now."

Looking at Xilo like he was an idiot, Zilan had an idea of why he wanted to know that. "That's a terrible idea in so many ways." Felli wasn't a simple person that he could find anywhere on the street and neither was her family. Even just seeing her from afar would be hard unless she came out for jobs but that didn't happen often nor was she a social person. If she wanted to be alone then it would be impossible to find her. At least for the current him, if he wanted to find Felli it would take a lot of work.

"I'm not thinking of anything, I was just curious. Though if I can see her then of course I want to, though from your reaction you seem to think that it's a bad idea."

From the corner of his eyes he saw Tearia's ear perk up slightly as he smiled.

"Haaaa, how much do you really know about Felli?"

"Besides being a rare space user and a bit of an idiot, not much."

"Figures."

"Is there something I should know?"

"As you know we live in the continent called Ukel with there being 11 of them total and the families that rule over them. The city she lives in is the capital of this entire place and is widely known for it's Great Underground Astral Zone. She just so happens to live in that City, It's called Ukelians. However that much isn't where my worry comes from. it comes from the fact that she is the...Step daughter of the Royal Family there. Imagine if some nobody comes up walking to them with nothing backing him. Strength or people. What do you think would happen if you demand to see her, you're not stupid so I'm sure you can figure it out."

Zilan made sure he was as serious as possible as he tried to get his point across. One wrong move and Xilo and his friends would be dead in seconds. The only reason he was telling them all this was because he liked them. If not he would have kept shut about all this information. "It pays to be a former big shot yourself sometimes." Throwing that thought into the back of his head he waited for Xilo's response. Forgetting about Felli was the best option he could pick.

"So my option would be death by going there then. Well that doesn't sound too bad. I just need to get stronger right?"

"You know what I take it back, you are an idiot."

Shrugging Xilo didn't really care for that insult. "Though he's right I can't just rush in their blind." Which meant if Xilo wanted to see Felli and talk with them he needed strength and power backing him. If he wanted those then he needed a place where he could truly begin. "Will I really do all this just for Tearia and Felli? No,This is for me as well." If he wanted to Confront Althea eventually then this was just the beginning and if he could help the people he cared about along the way then that was perfect.

"So where do you think I can start then, since you seem so knowledgeable I'm sure you got some place in mind."

Not letting go of Zilan's gaze Xilo asked that question as he felt Xelfia slapping him a little bit however he ignored that.

"You're serious?"

"As serious as I can be."

Trying to find any hint of lie or doubt from Xilo's body, Zilan scanned him from head to toe before he sighed, finding nothing.

"Haaaaa....Why am I telling you this....Fine if you want to be an idiot I won't stop you, There's a city called Landelt nearby here that you should visit. It has one of the Dracal's Halls there. Find it and give them my name as a recommendation. I won't help you out anymore then that though, I got my own things I want to do as well and dying isn't one of them."

"I'm glad that you're worried about me but I'll be fine, This sounds like fun to me honestly."

"It's not a game."

"Just another test, that's all."

"Whatever you say."

Shaking his head, ZIlan felt his shoulders tense up more as Marie jumped in easing the mood a little bit as the night continued on. With time passing they all chatted until morning came and the sun's greeting interrupted them. Noticing the sun coming up, Zilan stopped and stood up. "it's time we get going I think." Looking around the forest area they were in, Zilan got ready to say his goodbyes with XIlo for now. Hopefully they could meet again under better circumstances but he was in a hurry himself too. The Kintrel Mountains were already too long of a detour and he needed to get going. "Maybe next time we can take care of those Wolves together." Smiling to himself he stretched out his hand to Xilo's.

"I think it's time to say goodbye, my friend."

"Got somewhere to go?"

Grasping Zilan's hand he wondered where he was off to but didn't ask.

"We have some places to be soon, so we'll be leaving now. It was nice meeting you Xilo and I hope we meet again."

"Hmmm...Alright, Good bye Zilan. Until we all see each other again."

With that Xilo watched them walk off into the distance leaving the four of them alone.

Enjoy.
